Ever since Baz was a child, he heard stories of the miraculous Simon Snow and his incredible adventures in Neverland. For Baz, stories of Simon are more than just stories--they are true. The tales become his way to escape his harsh reality and his old-fashioned family. So, when his sister is old enough to understand, he tells her about Simon Snow and his battles with The Insidious Humdrum and how he and his fairy help-mate, Penelope, save Neverland on a daily basis. What Baz doesn't know is that there's always someone lurking outside his window when he tells these stories.

Ever since Simon was born, he knew that the real world wasn't the place for him. His mother died during childbirth and his father, in turn, became an abusive drunk. So, when Simon was seventeen, he escaped to Neverland where he would never have to grow up and be like his father. Now that he's been there for so long (he lost track of the years overtime) he starts to wander back into the real world to see how things have changed. One night he hears, through an open window, a silky voice telling stories of Simon Snow the Great Adventurer. The boy that didn't want to grow up. So Simon hovers outside the window night after night, just to hear what the boy has to say.

One night, Simon finds himself going in through the window to try and find his shadow and meets the mysterious story-teller. Who, as he finds out, is not just mysterious--he is incredibly attractive.

The shadowy figure at her window would normally have been disconcerting. But something about the uncertainty that would come with the sunrise left Marigold more curious than concerned. Tomorrow she would be a legal adult. She would be turned out to find her own way, without the government protections she had leaned on her whole life. Perhaps it was the fear of the unknown adult world that caused her to open the window for the figure. Perhaps it was that nagging curiosity. Regardless of the motivation and without much forethought, she allowed herself to slip out of bed, pad to the window, and unlatch the lock... Marigold may be becoming an adult by legal standards, but the uncertainty of what that means for her future becomes irrelevant as she finds herself in Neverland with Pan his Lost Boys. Having faked his death to escape the heroes of Storybrooke after his failed attempt to steal the heart of the Truest Believer, Pan returned to Neverland to find that a multitude of pirates have dropped anchor. In his absence, word spread among the looters that Neverland and her many treasures lay unprotected. After just a few skirmishes, it became clear that Pan needed a larger group of Lost Boys to aid in the pirate extermination effort. --- What?? A OUAT Peter Pan fic in 2023? Crazy I know. But you know, sometimes you just have to come back to Wattpad and write the fanfic you never wrote in high school. Let's just call it healing for my inner teenager. *OUAT spoiler and backstory disclaimer: Pan is NOT Malcolm (Rumple's father) in this story. That fact is just blatantly ignored here. That plotline is just not the vibe, and honestly never was.

30 parts Complete

It's been a year since Simon and Baz broke up: a year of Simon Snow having to see pictures of Baz and Agatha in the papers as the happy power couple, a year of Baz Pitch being terribly miserable. Now, a year later, fate brings the two together again. In light of everything that happened between them, Simon has to see if he can balance his past and his future and, more importantly, if he can forgive Baz for everything he said that fateful evening. Baz has to see which is more important: his future at his father's company or getting Simon to let him back into his heart. **SEQUEL TO MY CUP OF TEA** Ranked #3 in the carry tag!
