A new age of heroes has started, however some old ways will never be gone. Several people want heroes to be under control by the Goverment while others feel like they are needed to be on their own accord. When a alien invasion of Earth causes the most powerful heroes to ban together, will they be able to work together and save the Earth, or will the Earth be doomed?

Bruce Wayne joins forces with Diana Prince and Jessica Kent to ensure that Superman's ultimate sacrifice is not in vain. The plan is to assemble a team of metahumans to protect the world from a potentially catastrophic threat. The task proves more difficult than Bruce anticipated, as each of the recruits must confront the demons of their pasts in order to transcend what has held them back, allowing them to finally form an unprecedented league of heroes. Batman, Wonder Woman, Superwoman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash must band together to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid from their evil plans of universal domination.

The justice league face off against a threat like no other , Amazo and the genius of lex luthor push them to the edge but will they prevail ? ( also leads into the start of the young justice team !! )
