Jane is the daughter of former NCIS director Jenny Shepard. Hardly anyone knows that she exists or who her mother is. She lost her mother very young and when she was old enough for school she was shipped off to boarding school. She knew her mother meant well but she wished she wasn't at boarding school. Jane is currently dating Troy who is a naval officer who she thinks was involved with a another naval officers murder. She doesn't know what to do, she thought about going to the police but Troy would be furious and his temper is not something to mess with. She remembers that her mom would always talk about Gibbs and how good he is at his job so she goes and asks for his help. One thing she doesn't know is that Gibbs is actually her father.

Rose, a new agent, joins Gibbs' team. But is she really who she claims to be? Very quickly her true identity and questioned by the members of the team. Yet this discovery could bring much more joy than one might think. And rule # 12 is broken again in the past as well as in the present ... I don't know if I should do it but I saw it in a lot of fanfiction that I read so; I don't own any of the characters from the NCIS series. Only Rose, Austin, Christian, Jim, Noah, Charlie, Leslie, Tom and Suzie are characters created by myself.

Working with one Leroy Jethro Gibbs was a challenge to begin with. Being in love with him was near impossible. As a part of Gibbs' team, you knew the rules well. Especially his precious Rule 12; Never Date A Coworker. However, when a psychopath from your previous job at the FBI sets his sights on you again. When you get taken and Gibbs has to find you before you get killed, how does he react? When you are rescued moments before getting killed, how do you react? Finally, when you are healing and Gibbs shows you a side to him that you've never seen, how does your relationship change? Read to find out.

For this fic, I kept the main parts of season 18 canon the same, and the main change is the Bishop-leaking documents storyline. So, other aspects of the finale like with Gibbs and his boat, and Ellie being trained by Odette is the same but I tried to make the storyline more true to her character and also added my own interpretations of what happened in prior events. I don't know how many parts there are going to be or when I will post each one, so thank you for your patience and I will upload new chapters as soon as I finish them. This whole story is just a perspective I have of a possible alternate plot point for the S18 finale that I hope feels more in character and is enjoyable. Also, there will of course be plenty of Ellick! :) Quick Summary/Introduction: Classified documents have been leaked from the NSA and all signs point to Ellie Bishop. However, she is not at all responsible as it goes against everything she is and believes in. So the question remains, who actually released the intel and why would they frame Ellie? And what is going on with Nick that he isn't sharing with her? They might be able to finally express to each other their true feelings and have a chance at a future together, or Bishop will be punished for a crime she didn't commit and never be able to return to her life as an NCIS special agent.
