An explosion. You heard ringing in your ears, but you couldn't do much about it. You just cried. After all, you were a baby held in your dying mother's arms. Overwatch became family and you couldn't bear to find anything that would tear it apart. You, a selfless girl, blamed and beat yourself up for things that happened to your family. No matter what, you'd give yourself up for them, even as a little kid. This is my first fanfiction, and have been thinking about writing one for a long time. Gabe grew in posture standing high above the arena with his grey skin tight t-shirt caressing the edges of his torso. His ginger haired doctor by his side, they stared impressed and intent at your confidence skyrocketing. It took alot of witts and talent to step into the ring and knock an opponent out as swiftly as you did, and with time to spare. Especially, with what you had learned by yourself in such a short amount of time. "He has potential." O'Deorain spoke professionally mimicing the same look Gabe had offered to the boy. Her head cocked upright to appear even more intimidating and thought provoking. But, as she kept looking down to the mat, head held high with countless amounts of confusion and suprise, she could feel her company slowly slip away from her grasp. Gabriel now lowering his arms from its pretzel form had already managed to quietly make his way towards the door with the image of you standing so proudly over your opponent burned into his visuals. "Where are you going?" She became distrought, believing he would want to stay and watch the rest of his students fight the new unsuspected and daring challenger. When in reality, she was going to get alot more for a show. With Gabe now opening the door wide enough for his body to side-step through, he left her with something to make her curious with his low and grundgy voice before practically slamming the door on the way out... During the final days of the Omnic Crisis, an infant by the name of Benjamin Shimoda was orphaned in New York City when Omnics unleashed a massive wave against the city. After Overwatch arrived and saved the city, Benjamin was left alone and without a parent or guardian. That was until an Omnic Civilian named Hisodan R13 adopted him and took him under his wing. Benjamin was taught Karate and Judo by his new father, as well as science, mathematics, zoology, culinary, etc. After graduating high school and joining the military, Benjamin would eventually find himself in Overwatch, becoming good friends with a multitude of the agents including Torbjorn Lindholm. He was given superhuman strength and the ability to see in infrared by Moria O'Deorian and became a well-known agent in the organization, building a Titanium-Alloy Yautja suit and going under the callsign; "Predator" However, he (like all the other agents, was disbanded after the Petras Act was enabled and Jack Morrison and Gabriel Reyes were presumed dead. Benjamin now travels the world, seeking purpose and finding out what happened to Overwatch. Eventually, he'll get a callsign, calling him to band together, and repair the world.

Aurthor's Note: This story is based on the popular Blizzard game - Overwatch This piece was written prior to the introduction of Doomfist into the game. While the story follows closely to the world set by Jeff Kaplan, Michael Chu and the Blizzard team, it may deviate from the storyline after patch notes on 1st August 2017 Update: Doomfist and Moira were introduced but I unfortunately will not fit them (or any new heroes) into the story as I felt it would unnecessarily expand the story. That being said, what happen to them can be implicitly assumed in the later chapters.

When Hanzo enlists in the army to fight the war against the omnics, Jesse can't bring himself to miss out. Building limbs for soldiers and trying his best to contribute to the war at hand, he finds himself being sent to the base Hanzo inhabited. After he gets instructed to create limbs, he finally gets to meet one of the victims. Heartbroken, he fights to help him walk again. (ADDITIONAL NOTE: Omnics are the opposition in this, though everyone is human. Overwatch is kinda like a codename for whichever country Jesse and co. are fighting for, like Omnic would be a codename for their opposition.)
