The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.

Minako is a calm, cool and collective type of person, but get her mad and it's all over. She does anything for her friends and fellow shinobi, whether they know it or not. But most of the time they don't even acknowledge her, but she's fine with it. As long as her brother, his friends and her friends are safe. Sato Sayaka, age thirteen, is assigned to learn the Rasengan from Namikaze Minato, the sensei of Nohara Rin, Uchiha Obito, and Hatake Kakashi. Obito is thrilled to have her on the team.
