An AU where Carry On has a different ending. The Mage is not killed, Ebb survives, the Humdrum is still at large and Simon still has his power. Simon, Baz, Penelope and Agatha all return to school for another term. Simon and Baz have to work out their relationship, deal with their friends, and try to fight the Mage and the Humdrum. A tale of love, friendship, romance, loyalty, courage and adventure. And magic. And first times. And vampires. And dragons. And flying in the snow. And destiny.

When Simon is in too much pain to sleep, and is too loud about it for Baz to, Baz decides to comfort him. The problem is, it's hard to act like you hate someone who's sleeping in your arms, and it's even harder to not fall further in love when the boy you like is so sick that he clings to you every chance he gets.

Simon finds Baz's diary after flipping their room upside down in a fit of rage. Except it's locked... Then Simon agrees to do a 'favour' for Baz. Simon didn't know it would mean going to Baz's home and having to pretend to be his boyfriend during winter break. The diary is his only way out. Though he can't seem to find that damn key...

Baz and Simon now live together. It is their one year anniversary, what could possibly go wrong? Apparently a lot. It had been 3 months now and Simon's swelling belly continued to grow. "Baz?" Simon called "I have something to tell you...." Maybe the wings and tail weren't the only things that had found a space on Simons body, maybe it was a lady dragon after all.

It's been a year since Simon and Baz broke up: a year of Simon Snow having to see pictures of Baz and Agatha in the papers as the happy power couple, a year of Baz Pitch being terribly miserable. Now, a year later, fate brings the two together again. In light of everything that happened between them, Simon has to see if he can balance his past and his future and, more importantly, if he can forgive Baz for everything he said that fateful evening.
