Mark and Jack were once the best of friends. Now, not so much. Something has happened to Jack. Something terrible. And it keeps repeating, over and over, no matter how Mark tries to prevent it. There's no way to SAVE him. There never has been. Until now. Jack was never a hero. He has a sadistic little mind that enjoys the torment of others. Mark, on the other hand, has become Jack's guardian. Although it's more for everyone else's sake rather than Jack's. But Mark knows it wasn't always like this. Back when Jack was Sean. Back when the underground was a place of beauty, and you could inhale without coughing up ashes. But there's a reason no one calls him Sean anymore. A dark reason, a scary one. Mark still believes he can bring back the world they lost. The one where Jack wasn't insane. The one where Mark wasn't dead. 18 resets ago.

It's your 1 year anniversary with Jack. You were so excited for tonight! He was keeping it a secret, where you were going, and no matter how many times you asked, he wouldn't budge. But no matter, the only thing that mattered, is that you were happy to be with Jack, and happy about being safe. Anti hasn't even been mentioned in the past year, and you were happy with that too. All of the pain...all of the suffering...all of the tears, and and screaming, and torture you went through, was out of your mind...most of the time. Sometimes when you were alone, you would get a little dizzy. Much like the feeling you had the night at the pub. When you were dizzy, all happy emotions in your body would swim out, and all the memories from a year ago, would flood in. But, it was time; time to go out for your anniversary. It was a wonderful dinner, but Jack started to act a bit...strange. He said everything was fine, and you just went with it. You were still a little worried, but tried not to be. After you changed into your bed cloths, Jack tried doing something, that you didn't want to do. That's when you knew....this wasn't Jack. "'I missed you Y/N...' Summary: I gave Signe tickets to go see her family over in Denmark. Before she left I had weird things happening, like a door that was open when I'm sure I closed it. In the letters, secrets are discovered, causing questions to form. Was Mark really dead? Or was Jack's reality not what it seems?
