I had been running for what felt like hours. My legs were burning, and I knew my body was about to give out. The tears that had long since dried still clung to my face. I was covered in bruises and cuts from tearing through the forest. Everything hurt-not just my body, but my heart as well. Just hours ago, I was at a motel with my mom, arguing about dinner, and now she was gone. She killed herself to protect me. That's what I keep telling myself, but deep down, I know it's not true. She was tired of running, tired of hiding. The hunters were close, too close, and to avoid being captured and tortured again, she decided to exit on her own terms. I had to get out of here fast. But I had nowhere to go, nowhere to run or hide-still, I kept going. Thankfully, I had good instincts and the one lesson my mother ever taught me: shapeshifting. I just needed to throw them off my trail. I glanced over my shoulder to see if I could spot any pursuers, but that was a mistake. I tripped and hit my head on a rock, and everything went black.

Four worlds rotated the sun, each with their own rules and regulations, divided by history, blood and death. Once upon a time, they were brought together for the chance of a better world. A common evil that roamed them all had to be defeated, in order to restore the way it once was. Beautiful. Now in 800 BC, in a time when monsters ruled earth, sea and sky, that evil has returned. And another epic battle must occur. A battle so mighty, it would tear kingdoms apart. This battle was to take place in the land of the Vikings, as three people, a fearless Viking warrior, a cast out mermaid and a powerful fairy queen, must make an alliance to bring it all back together. None of these worlds would ever be the same. No hearts would go untouched. Four once separated worlds, would now forever be connected, in a way that no one could have expected, making the way for future kingdoms.

Alice and her three friends, have finally managed to find enough money to travel to Rome, Italy. Hoping that a break from: men, work and a recent painful break up for one of the girls. But in life, nothing is ever so simple as that. One minute they are treating themselves to a small glass of wine, when there plane literally falls from the sky. Thinking that they sort lives and that of the pilot and crew, would be no more. Fate gives them a strange, but intriguing second chance of life and happiness. In a completely different world, in a different dimension. Live a race of humans, forgotten by the rest of the human race. To protect their world from the 'monsters', at the beginning of each winter, before the snow touches the ground. They send couple of women, to the legendary 'Fire Wall'. Manned by the same so called 'monsters', that they guard and protect the humans from. What they do with the girls, no one knows. But what they do know is that no one comes out of the keep. So when Alice and her friends, wake up in the middle of a crowded hall, that looks like it came out from a Medieval history book. And finding out that shifters do exist, also that the creator and second in command/Watcher and owner of the legendary 'Fire Wall', are both her mates. Her and her friends lives will never be the same again. Through twists and turns, they will face: death, love, sacrifice and face there true fate with a heavy heart. Second chances and the fate of there world and universe is in the palm of there hand. It is official these girls will have an interesting ride. (All the myths and legends in this book are based around beings who are already in books and legends, although there may be one or two that I have made myself. The beings that I have described in this book, may not be how they are in myths and legends, but please don't get annoyed or angry, for this is how I have done it with as much information as I possibly can. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. But it was true. It's up to May and Drew to break the hold destiny has on them, to fight for their own way. Will they live their happily ever after, or die trying? Wow! This story was such an adventure for me. You can really tell the difference in my writing as time went on XD. Friends. That's what they always had been, whenever either of them had problems they told each other from a very young age. Always sticking together with seemingly no problems, if only they knew just how quickly that could all change. Him. A half demon half angel, bred by accident and then put onto Earth into another family so he could have a somewhat normal life until the time came where he would either become a full demon or full angel. Her. A full angel from the start, for her own safety she was put on Earth to protect her from a harsh fate she didn't deserve at the cost of her true parents life's. Both these children never knew what they really were. Until they reached sixteen. Up until then they both had always stuck by each other no matter what, he was always the more quiet of the two whilst she was a little more outgoing and stubborn. Yet somehow they went so well together. It was fate. So, was it fate then, when on his sixteenth birthday, this boy...found his side. Only it wasn't angel by any means. It was pure and utter demon. Killing his human family in a rage after they'd brought him up for so long, he went to her next. The friend he'd relied on for so long, yet there was pure hate in his eyes. He blamed her for everything. He hated her with a passion. She was an angel and, she was hidden on Earth when in reality. She should of been a slave like the rest of them. She need to be taught her place, underneath him. She was to become his slave, everything in these past sixteen years now meant nothing to him. Could she though, over time, bring back out the angel in him?

(if anyone wants to continue my stories make sure you tag it burningsnowman) I struggle with finishing my novels so I thought hey why not throw them all into one book... This book (not plural) doesn't just stick to one background it changes consistently leaving it impossible to figure out what might happen next. Also, some storeys end midway, therefore it leaves you frustrated but in a good funny way and you could even make an ending yourself. This novel is pretty much full of books I find to be a disappointment or non-continuable therefore when I make another crappy book it will be right here for all to see(oh wait that means your seeing how crappy my writing is.) But no my writings is fairly decent and I promise I will have you intoxicated in my stories. oh and also there may be mistakes purely because they're not finished. (I really don't know what genre this should be)
