After the Ghost crew got captured on a mission, the Empire won't put up with them anymore, so they are frozen in carbonite. Four years pass of being frozen in carbonite, the Ghost crew are finally rescued by the rebel fleet. But find out that Ezra was not frozen in carbonite, rather forced to join the Empire. After a month has passed of being unfrozen, the Ghost crew go on a mission soon to discover someone who knows and are close to Ezra... and that someone is Ezras padawan? ~ I just want to say this is my first story of Star Wars Rebels. "It was a simple story, about a boy who was lost." In this Star Wars Rebels fanfiction, Kanan Jarrus sends his Padawan, Ezra Bridger, on a simple practice op. But after five hours pass and Ezra still has yet to return, the Ghost crew knows that something has gone horribly, horribly wrong. Will they ever be able to find out what happened to Ezra... or get him back?

Ezra is a young street rat from the planet Lothal. One day, he steals crates from a crew trying to take them from the Empire. He ends up on the crew's ship, the Ghost. They are trying to rescue wookies, but the mission goes wrong. The captain, Hera sends Ezra to warn Kanan, Zeb, Sabine, and Chopper. They all successfully make it out, except for Ezra. Zeb leaves him behind and the crew never comes back for him. Ezra manages to escape on his own, but his trust in people no longer exists. Some time later, Ezra meets up with the crew yet again. (So this story is from Spark of Rebellion, but the crew doesn't go back for Ezra.)

Being alone for eight years has already taken its toll on Ezra, but being alone again might break him. After a failed mission, Ezra's crew has no choice but to give in to the Empire.
