It takes place in an alternate universe where Marshall Mathers or any other celebrities mentioned are not actually famous. This is also obviously A WORK OF FICTION!! But... What if you got snatched by a crazy murderer that wants you to play house with him and his kid?? Marshall Mathers has about had it with his cheating wife, so he decides to kill her. Then dump her dead body in the lake. All the while his 5 year old daughter, Hailie, is right by his side, helping him, without even realizing what it is exactly they are doing. And now that Hailie's mother is gone, Marshall decides that she might need a new one. As well as him possibly needing a new wife. That's where Destiny comes in. Destiny has just witnessed what Marshall and Hailie just did. But instead of killing her as well, Marshall brings her home with them and keeps her hostage. Without realizing that Destiny has a secret too. That secret would soon come to light though. Then all three of them, Marshall, Hailie and Destiny, would have to go on the run...

This story takes place in 2001. Christina needs to get away from LA so when she gets offered a job in Detroit in a fashion company which is what she has always worked with, she immediately takes it and moves to Detroit. Christina immediately clicks with her coworker Leticia who invites her to a party with her friends, what Christina doesn't know is that Leticia's good friends are the famous D12 boys. Christina finds Eminem very attractive but she doesn't want a relationship because she just got out of a relationship, which was the mainly reason why she took the job in Detroit. It's perfect because she thinks Marshall is the perfect guy to have fun with without no strings getting attached, but it gets more complicated than she ever thought it would be. The year is currently 2003 and The Source Magazine has just unveiled an Eminem racist tape, a song where he can clearly be heard rapping disrespectfully about black women. Eminem goes on national TV and apologizes, stating that the song in question was made back in 1989 when he was only 16 years old and was in response to him dating a black girl that had cheated on him and broke his heart. Eminem's PR team thinks that him merely apologizing is not enough to salvage his public image, so Paul Rosenberg gets a bright idea to locate Nikki, the girl whom the song was supposedly about and publicly reunite her with his client, and have Nikki say that she understands where Em was coming from and that she forgives him. Nikki however has other plans. All she really wants is to set the record straight once and for all... This story would take place constantly alternating between the year 2003 which is the current time it takes place, and the year 1989 where it had all began... Jordyn is trying to make it in the music industry as well. She wants to make it as a singer. So, the two of them meet, eventually realize that they have a whole lot in common, and are both there for each other along their journeys to make it big, as well as everything else on between, eventually becoming best friends, then going from friends to lovers, but so many things get in their way right from the get go. Like Jordyn's trust issues with men, Marshall's extremely complicated relationship with his baby's mother, Kim, the fame that one of them acquires way quicker than the other, as well as even more stuff that follows along down the line. Drug addiction, fame, groupies, love, hate... Will all those things eventually tear them apart, or bring them even closer together?! Who the hell knows...
