From the renowned Filipino reformist and national hero Dr. Jose Rizal comes a classic piece of literature that served as the spark for the nation's revolution and the eye-opener regarding the disease that has been festering within the Philippine society during the Spanish era.

After seven years of studying in Europe, a wealthy young gentleman by the name of Juan Crisostomo Ibarra returns to the Philippines, filled with hope and inspired by dreams for the betterment of the country. Armed with sheer determination and a firm and positive outlook on things, he commits himself to continuing his father's philanthropical work, pioneering projects aiming at the development of the people's welfare by providing means to education and livelihood. While there are people who are avid supporters of the young man's cause, there exists in the shadows an entity as dark and malicious as the abyss it came from, shrouded deeply by lies and deceit and the hypocrisy that spawned it, hell-bent on destroying everything that stood in its path...

In this alternate world, where the strong subjugate the weak, the Spanish Empire is in decline, and the islands must navigate this turbulent era with their advanced 21st-century technology and knowledge. Initially, the islanders concentrate on adapting to their new environment and managing the era's harsh conditions, including disease and limited resources. The East Philippine Sea Command, a modern military unit also displaced to this time, takes on the task of protecting the islands and gathering crucial intelligence. As Spain's hold on its colonies weakens in this alternate timeline, the islanders and the Command recognize their strategic opportunity. They begin to discreetly influence local dynamics, preparing to support the rise of the Philippine Revolution. Their objective is to navigate the complexities of colonial rule, contribute to the revolutionary cause, and subtly shift the balance of power in the region. In a world where colonial powers dominate and nations vie for control, the islanders and the Command play a crucial role in shaping the course of history, balancing their advanced knowledge with the realities of this alternate past to impact the future of the Philippines. --- Pictures, videos, and music used in the book are for reference purposes only and belong to their respective owners. A/N: Had a bout of inspiration; may edit and then republish some time later after finishing writing another story, since I'm more focused on my other book -- [BL] Videre -- at the moment. Nonetheless, cheers to good reading and writing~ I'll brew this story first. I wanted some sweet and fluff in contrast to my other work. Book cover is atrocious btw, I know, lolol. I'll change that when I'm more focused on it. Just ignore like I do. Hehe~ _ _ _ Yu Yan is a curious little thing. Bridal classes? Easy. Archery? Swordsmanship? Martial arts? Horseback riding? Are kidding him? His father is a General! Unfortunately, Yu Yan had to marry the Emperor when his father, the mighty General, had died. With the pernicious palace life suffocating him, he had unexpectedly died before he could successfully run away. Hm? But what's this? It isn't the end? He's not dead yet? God: Hello, transmigrator~ Congratulations for successfully passing the screening of becoming a Heaven's part-timer! God: Of course, of course! Whatever you want, you can be as long as you can protect, monitor, and stimulate the son and daughter of that world~ Yu Yan: Can I retain my memories? God: Anything you want! We can even retain your own body and just insert you into the world's trajectory. Now, please choose which book or world trajectory you want to work on~ Yu Yan after he transmigrated into the book: ....This isn't what I signed up for. DIARY OF VALERIA [ COMPLETED ] by RonnanTristan

It all started when Isaiah Santos uncovers a diary in the Filipiniana Library. The diary is old and most of the entries are written by Sinukuan which later on he found out that it was one of the many aliases of a known Filipino Hero - the great Andres Bonifacio. In the diary, it reveals a secret about a girl whom Andres was seeing during the time of the uprising. Some of the Katipuneros called her a fierce warrior but the mason wives during the Spanish colonial era called her the mistress of the revolution. Who is she? And what is the role that she portrayed in the war? Valeria is not an ordinary girl, she is an immortal. She belongs to a tribe that lives in an unknown Island that soon to be called Isla Filipinas. But what is she? And how did she survive all through the years? When Isaiah started his blog about Valeria, the blogosphere went into a frenzy. All historians in the country called him a fraud while others considered his theory about Valeria as fiction. Thanks to his best friend Albert who's there to support him at the same time helped him put up the site. But everything changes when Isaiah received a message from Valeria herself stating that she wanted to meet him. In a quaint ambience of Café Xocolat, a diner next to the Avenue, surrounded by customers of mostly college students, young professionals and professors, Valeria is sitting near the balcony waiting for the blogger to come - ready to tell her tale. The book is a Filipino urban fantasy, a short story about friendship and about a young man's journey as he uncovers a great secret hidden in the pages of history books.

"To all the girls who feel they are unfortunate." Chandrika -The princess of Ajmer labelled as the bad omen for the palace, she had always been kept locked in a room with nothing but silent screams ringing in her ears reminding her every second that she is nothing but a curse for her loved ones. Now those screams are no less than a lullaby which helps her sleep after each failed attempt to end her life every single night. Her innocent soul now rests in the pit of hope which diminishes in small doses, that one day someone will see her for who she wants to be. Someone who will see her not as a curse, but as a girl who just wants to be loved. Sultan Adil Faisal khan- Sultan of the Mughal Sultanate The young man who was titled as the Sultan at the very young age of 17, but deep down his tough mask resides in an innocent heart which aches every second missing someone he can never meet. Even though it's false for him to think of her when he knows he can't have her, his heart always repels his brain whispering, "what if?". what if one day he could meet her again? what if he could inhale her sweet scent again? What if he could confess his longing towards her? what if...? This world carries so much magic that to justify its unrealistic nature we label it as coincidence. Funny right? This story or as I should say every other romance story says otherwise even the sad ones and I totally agree. In this universe, where people are busy calculating possibilities of a dice number also live people like me who believe in fate, and I think anyone who reads does believe in fate. "kisi na kisi ko hai banaya har kisike liye" this lyric says everything I want to convey through my story. Each person in our life is like a chapter who helps us reach our happy ending. So, let's turn our pages and read through them. Shall we?
