Well, Maddie's story is a bit different. She had been homeschooled for the past two years of her life so her social conduct with other teens is limited. She does happen to make friends with Aphmau, a raven haired-spunky, Hispanic girl with an obsession with anything anime or from Japan. Together, they try and survive high school as two anime obsessed homeschooled teens. But what happens when characters from Aphmau's past start to play a part in Maddie's future? Aphmau becomes increasingly aware that in this new place, many of her friends as well as her will go through many ups and downs. As well as this, a certian someone secretly becomes friends with his so called "enimies" and plots against his old friends for what they did to him. Cadenza is a young girl who is the lord of the village Metli and wants to help people in need. She took combat lessons and learned to be loyal and patient to her villagers. However she is holding on to a very major dark secret that could risk her village attack from not just power hungry kingdoms but also from the shadows as well. Laurence is Cadenza's younger brother and is the head guard of Metli but also has a dream of becoming the greatest pro guard even if he is not human. He is also a role model for his brother Caleb. Then everything changed when he met his true love aphmau even though he was a casanova he deeply has feelings for her. However Laurence holds on to many secrets that if one day there exposed he could lose her forever but that won't happen as long as he doesn't get angry to much or regenerates. Caleb is the youngest sibling and looks up to Laurence as a role model more than his older sister Cadenza. Just like Laurence he wants to become a pro guard and protect people with a smile on his face. When a threat to Phoenix Drop looms over all the guards have to band together to stop this dark force. There will be many betrayals, heartbreaks, new ships, plot twists, unexpected allies and enemies, and so much more in Edo period Japan. I do not own any of the songs or characters.
