It had been a year since Sonic and Shadow moved out of Mobius City and lived in an island village after graduating from college and getting married. They finally live their lives together, no more worries, expectations, or people trying to get in between, It was the perfect life. . . Until one day, Shadow had a bad accident with someone while at work which caused him to. . Lose his memories? Friends, his high school romance, even his own husband. . . All those memories are gone and it made Sonic upset. A reunion is taking place back in Mobius so without any other choice of trying to regain his memories where they were, Sonic decides to go back to Mobius City to help Shadow gain his memories back, even if it meant coming back to his old yet traumatizing roots. For years Amy had been chasing after Sonic desperately for his love and affection, yet Sonic never did return Amy's feelings. It didn't matter since Amy knew Sonic would always be there to save her whenever she was in trouble, and she loved it. But as she grew older, she began to get annoyed with this. She still loved Sonic and wanted him to just once tell her he loved her, but she didn't like that Sonic came to save her when she had it handled. She would now yell at Sonic that she didn't need him all the time, yet Sonic never quit saving her. All of this was a never ending cycle until one day when a man had asked Amy to serve as a midwife to his wife who was in labor. When Amy and Sonic broke into another one of their arguments Amy had wished that for once Sonic would understand how she truly felt. The same man who asked Amy to help his wife would then appear before her and grant that very wish, but it was not what she had expected at all. She had been turned into a chao. The man had somehow disappeared and Amy tried desperately to look for him, but she found Sonic instead. Sonic ends up taking her in, giving her all his love and attention, and giving her the name Mio. This was all that Amy could ever want, but this didn't feel right to her. She enjoyed her life as Mio but doesn't want to stay. Will she ever return to being Amy and continue to be alone, or is she destined to stay as Mio and have the love she always wanted?

Demons. Bloodthirsty, savage killers. They don't care about anyone other than themself and will stop at nothing to get the job done. They claim to be Gods. Mobians nicknamed these demons "EXE." Their master is unknown. They come out of nowhere, mainly at night, and kill. Heroes. Heroic, brave Mobians who come out of the shadows to stop the demons. They're the ones celebrated, they're the ones loved. They care about others. There is a lot of heroes in the world, just as much as demons. They also come out of nowhere, mainly at night as well, and save lives. What if a hero and a demon fell in love? Knuckles the Echidna is a hero. Somewhat gullible but short-tempered, this echidna isn't someone you want to mess with. In terms of muscle, he's the strongest hero around, but when it comes to smarts and speed, he's the weakest. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Sonic the Hedgehog is a demon. Somewhat snarky but kindhearted, this hedgehog is a bit cowardly when it comes to fights. He was never about fighting and violence like other demons, he just wants freedom and peace. Bullied for his secret morals, he sneaks out for the night. What if these two were to cross paths? Would they fall in love, or will the unending war keep them apart? Find out in "When Hero Met Demon"!

A polluted city was being attacked from the robots that were supposed to be servants but somehow they malfunctioned. We go to the top of a building as we see a shadowy figure sitting down at the edge of the tower with one leg dangling down from the roof and the other bent on top of the edge as the figure rested its arm on top of its knee gazing down at the polluted city. Everything is... gone. There's nothing left for me to do. All I have are my two sons, my only daughter, and my friends. I just don't know what to do anymore. My wife is gone, robots are taking over the planet, and what's worse... is that I'm supposed to be a hero. I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog and my wife Amy Rose has died to protect our children. Now it's my job to protect planet Mobius with the help of my younger brother, Miles "Tails" Prower, a red Echidna named Knuckles, two hedgehogs, Silver and Shadow.
