Who said Project Malthus was the only virtual reality made to save humanity?

Waking up to a strange place, Irya Morniz finds herself meeting strange people. A lord of an unknown place took a liking to her and a man with a mean personality wants to kill her. Irya thought Xintara was her new home but no one wanted her. Every time she encounters 3-09, the first Malthusian in Xintara, she always ends up with her life in danger and wakes up the next day as if nothing happened. As if her death didn't happen at all. Aside from her mysterious encounters with 3-09, she keeps having memories she doesn't remember having and it was always about a man beyond a glass wall. 

Curious and frustrated, Irya went to her home planet to find answers she couldn't find in Xintara. As if nothing could get any worse, 3-09 was with her all along, the Malthusian who wants to kill her with every chance he gets. As a curious person, she wanted to know more, she wanted her questions to be answered.

Who was Irya before Xintara and what was her relationship with the masterminds of Project Malthus? And more importantly, who was the man beyond the glass wall and what was his relationship with her?
