Peeta and Katniss have a one night stand after hearing about the Quarter Quell, the bombshell Peeta announced at the 75th Hunger Games Interviews came true. Peeta returns from the Capitol hijacked, unaware that the child Katniss is growing is his own. This is a story of how Peeta overcomes his hijacking to grow back to Katniss and their baby. Katniss finally agrees to have a baby and things look they might be looking up. That is, until, the sudden death of a loved one throws them back into darkness. Will death ever leave them? The story of what happens after Mockingjay told from Peeta's POV.

Against all odds, Katniss has survived the Hunger Games, but nothing is as she wishes. Her relationship with Peeta is strained, and whispers of rebellion swirl around them. As they embark on the Victory Tour, Katniss agrees to be friends with Peeta, but quickly realizes she wants more. Their romance becomes real, but as pressure mounts to prove their love to the world, they do the only thing they can think to save them and the people they love: get engaged. But the lines of their public and private lives blur when they decide to marry outside of the pressure of the Capitol, holding a private toasting for themselves in an attempt to preserve as much as their relationship for themselves as they can. In many other stories I've read, the Hunger Games return and continue to slaughter twenty-three children every year. That has not happened and is not going to happen in my story. This story is for Everlark shippers, so Katniss is not going to run off with Gale or something. Katniss is very happy with Peeta. They have everything by having each other, but they aren't married. Yet. When will Peeta ask? How will she react when she suddenly gets an unexpected visit by Gale, who has ignored her for two years? Read and get the answers to these questions.

After the Victor's tour Katniss finds out she's pregnant with Peeta's baby. The bad part is that the Quarter Quell, 75th games, are supposed to happen while she's pregnant and almost due.
