Now he's back and he will claim what was promised to him. The child. A deal is a deal. Princess Erinne is entering adulthood. Being the granddaughter of nothing but a miller, her introduction to royalty and aristocracy is no trip in the park. Feel it warm your fingertips." A shiver travels up my spine. The golden light from my bauble flickers. "Trust me, Princess. I'm not your enemy," he says in my ear. "Allow yourself to relax into your breath. You are strong. You are powerful."
