When you are taken by some demons, who want to hand you over to Crowley Castiel rushes to Sam and Dean Winchester for help and you are dragged into the supernatural world. One that is fraught with danger and the realisation that your guardian angel has fallen for you. All the while Castiel struggles with his desire for you and his emerging human emotions. This story contains physical and mental abuse, blood, blood work and mention of a toxic relationship. I use He/Him and She/Her in my stories as I don't feel I could give any of the other pronouns the proper usage.

The nightmares are getting more and more vivid as she watches them unfold every night. She can't stand the feeling of helplessness she has to live with now. The jumping at every shadow behind her, the fear of the dark and what lurks inside it, the dread that never leaves, the horror that awaits her every time she drifts off to sleep. Alexis wants it all to stop. But maybe with the Winchester's here to help her, like she's there to help them, it won't be that bad. Or will the shadows overtake Alexis? Will she drown in the darkness? Will that one light that she has burn out? Or will she make it through these dark times? And how is she sure better times wait ahead? Are there? With Dean back from hell everything seems to be looking up for Alexis. Sort of. She's still recovering from all the new information she's been thrown in the last four months. All while trying to help Dean with hell haunting him. She knows it is, even if he won't tell her. Its battle after battle, and she knows she can't lose hope. She can't let go so easily. They'd been through so much, everything would be okay. It had to be. And all the while she's battling her mother, who she recently connected with. Alexis us sure her mothers intentions aren't pure, but she offered something Alexis couldn't turn down. Alexis also has been making some questionable decisions in the name of revenge and love. Her heartbreak was healing now that Dean was back, but things seemed to be slowly shattering all over again. She can't let go. She has to stay strong. Or who knows what she'll lose.
