I like to think I have improved on writing since this time and I really don't like this. So many regrets... [Complete] Frank Iero has been suffering from the 'incident' ever since it happened. What made it worse was that it was completely his fault. His mother notices his behaviour afterwards and sends him to a therpy group. He knows he can't be 'cured' because there was nothing to 'cure'. This was him, left with the faded memories of the 'incident'. Gerard Way had to move schools because of bullying. Of course, it wasn't exactly bullying if quart labled it as abuse. His arms are adorned in long sleeves at all times. His mother takes to this and sends him to therapy. Group Therapy. Looking back, I can't even fully understand how this all happened. We used to have everything. A normal life, a normal school, a normal house. We used to be so innocent and naive, but now we're not. Now, we have nothing. We have nowhere left to go yet we've never been happier. How messed up is that? But more important: how messed up are we? His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Gerard Way never expected for his years in college to pass so slowly. He almost craved for something to happen to make the experience more exciting, but that event would likely never come. Or so, that's what Gerard thought. Stumbling across a messy poetic letter that was most likely dropped definitely made things more interesting. It wasn't as much the context of the letter, but more so where the letter was found that peaked Gerard's interests. "Why would anyone leave a note in a storage closet?" He thought to himself. More notes came into the closet every day, and Gerard began to wonder multiple things. 1: Who was writing these letters? 2: Why were they in the storage closet? 3: Who in the world was Frank Iero? Perhaps Gerard's college experience wouldn't be so eventless after all.

Frank's lost his parents when he was sixteen and was now a nineteen year old who had to grow up way too fast. He was still struggling to find a job that didn't leave him struggling for money at the end of each month, not only for his sake but also his eight year old sister, Diana. Gerard was a young famous artist. No one knew anything about him really except that he was an arrogant rich hermit who had no interest in interacting with anyone beyond selling them his paintings.

Highschool is a living hell. At least that's Gerard's opinion because he can't pass the hallways without being shoved against lockers or called a "fag". God, how Gerard hated this word. In his last year of school, he decides to take a risk and starts a school project in which he wants to find out why all of his teachers and classmates hate homosexual people so much. For his project "homophobia is gay" he interviews a few people but decides that this won't be enough. What if he could introduce one of them to his world and show them that it's not bad to be gay? And what if this person was Frank Iero, the guy who has a list of girls he slept with right under his mattress at home, and an abhorrence against the red-headed boy? *Warnings*: bad language, homophobia, smut, abuse
