It was just another day in Death City. DWMA was up and about living life to the fullest. Maka's team was yet again assigned a special mission by no one other than Dr. Stein. HOWEVER, Soul has pulled away from Maka and was being controlled by a Kishin. The continuous one-sided battle forced the rest of the meisters to retreat. While Lord Death, Spirit, and Stein tried to find a way to locate Soul, the team had to control Maka's reckless behavior of the weaponless meister. For some reason, Kid was the only one who could get through to her. They all decided to let Maka stay at Kid's place for a while. Kid didn't seem to mind, until he starts realizing what he truly feels towards her. Will Kid tell Maka what she means to him? Will Maka remain weaponless? They thought it was just a simple mission. Hunt down the demon...and destroy it, nothing special. But what if that changed? What if someone got in the way? What if this could be the end? Soul didn't have it coming...and neither did Maka. The evil Kishin, and the devious Medusa have come together, and will stop at nothing to find the one missing soul they need to kill death, and take over the world. Can they sop it? Or will it be too late for Maka and Soul?

Maka is badly injured after her and Soul defeated the Kieshan. After several months in the nurses office and a month at her and soul's apartment, she's ready to get on her feet again. Souls stayed with her the entire time, an though Maka was physically healed, mentally she didn't know what was going on with her.

After Asura's downfall, Soul, Maka and friends don't have much to do. DWMA is not as active, but Stein still takes full seriousness in the DWMA. After a while, Maka falls for Soul, a new kishin's arrival doesn't help her case either. (I DO NOT OWN SOUL EATER IN ANY WAY.) Cover by @EmeliaGreen

As their feelings start transforming into something more, problems come up that have the potential to drive them apart forever. From death to depression, to threats, to a failed kidnapping, to a lie that pushes Maka and Soul to the edge, can they make it through all of it and show each other that love can be found in the most unexpected places? (i know it's slow in the beginning but give it a try. I promise it gets better :) )

After the fall of Asura (Anime version), everyone is dealing with many situations in different ways: Old memories from his past haunt Death Scythe, Spirit Albarn; The students of the DWMA experience closer ties with each other; Soul and Maka become closer; Crona becomes accepted and ends up in love- with someone everyone else doesn't expect; Death the Kid worries about when the time comes and he takes over his father's postition; and the others close follow with similar scenarios. However, when a woman Spirit and Maka Albarn knows all too well returns to Death City, Spirit feels maybe his life might not be as bad after all- until another kishin threatens and more foes return.
