In her youth Sansa Stark dreamt of marrying a handsome nobleman and living a fairytale life of love and prosperity, surrounded by children of her own.

But fate was not kind to her. She had been betrothed to or married to a cruel king, a man who preferred the company of other men, the drunken Master of Coin, and a sadistic bastard. And all the while older, sinister men in both armor and fine clothing forced their advances on her.

But in the midst of all of it she found her shinning knight, the one who was meant for her and would protect her like the heroes did their maidens in the songs... And she was Princess Selene of House Baratheon, the only true heir of Robert Baratheon.

This is a game of heartbreak, betrayal, magic, and thrones. This is the tale of the War of Five Kings, the Long Night, and the Bloody Morning. This is the song of Ice and Fire. This the story of how two women, of warring houses, fell in love with one another. But will their love survive these ghastly times? And who will Sansa Stark and Selene Baratheon choose to be loyal to before anyone else: Their family, their kingdoms, their titles, each other...or another?

Brienne of Tarth Fanfiction. This is a story set in George R.R. Martin's famed A Song of Fire and Ice series. It takes place in an alternate timeline in which Jon Snow and Sansa Stark returned to Castle Black after the Battle of the Bastards in Season 6. While they leave Winterfell in very capable hands, more work needs to be done in preparation for the real war coming between The Others-their icy adversary from beyond The Wall-and mankind. Sansa and Jon send their trusted King's Guardsman, Brienne of Tarth, with her squire Podrick Payne, out into the isolated villages, towns, and Great Houses of the North, to recruit more soldiers for the Night's Watch. When the two find themselves in a bleak situation an ally appears. This new ally, by the name of Saga, may hold the key to winning the battles to come-a wealth of Dragon Glass. Jon Snow aligns with this new ally in order to advance their chances of making it out of the Long Night alive. In the meantime, the conflict that has been plaguing the Kingdoms spills over into the Stark children's business and they are forced to face it at the same time. This is the story of Brienne and Saga who are sent to deal with these many problems that Sansa and Jon are faced with. While on their journey, an unexpected bond is built between the stranger and Brienne. However, Brienne is not used to this sort of affection. While battling the Stark's adversaries and the threat beyond the wall, she must also deal with the conflict in her heart. Will she give in to the feelings she is having for this woman? Or will her life-time of hiding behind the walls she built destroy any chance she has with Saga? ***TW For Minimal Gore/Violence, Brief Suicide Mention, and Swearing ****Season 6 Spoilers

105 parts Complete Mature

The Blackfyres and Targaryens have fought many times against each other for the Iron Throne. Maelys Blackfyre was the last one to try and conquer the Iron Throne during the War of the Ninepenny Kings. Daemon, his cousin, was also killed by Maelys in order to get control of the Golden Company. Unbeknownst to Maelys, Daemon had a son called Aegon. Aegon fled after seeing his father being murdered and set out to travel among the Free Cities of Essos. After a few years of mercenary work, he settled near Volantis and started a family. Now his daughter, Visenya Blackfyre, is going on a journey that will change Westeros and Essos for generations. ~ I do not own Game of Thrones or any of the characters except my own~ I like to thank bobissocool11 for creating his book 'A Dragon's Flame'. It inspired me to write this story and it may have some overlap with that story. I highly recommend you read his/her story. Lastely, this is my first story ever. I hope you will enjoy it. The competition that this book was part of was FANATIC AWARDS. It got second place. The competition only consisted of three books, so take from it what you will.
