Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess. I'm going to start it the night Kim was shot, but how I would of written it after that it won't be like the show it will be my own story using Chicago PD characters and some of my own. I hope you enjoy it!

To the outside world Adam Ruzek had it all, a promising career, a beautiful wife and a baby on the way. That's all about to change when one event changes everything, and Adam is left to pick up the shattered pieces of his life.

This is going to be a story picking up when Adam and Hailey separated and how I think things should go with getting Kim and Adam back together. Spoilers included from the finale** I do not own any rights to these characters

Adam Ruzek's little sister just got home from a very long work trip away from everyone. When she find's out that her best friend Jay Halstead just got his heart broken will she be there as a friend or more?

"I really don't know about this" Heather muttered as the two girls walked into the bar. "Come on it will take your mind off things" Erin smiled at Heather draping her arm over her shoulder "and you never know someone might catch your eye" "Erin you know I'm not ready to meet anyone. I'm just focusing on me and summer and trying to get back into work" Heather sighed. "Just try and let your hair down just for a couple of hours" she said passing Heather a beer. "I can try but I can't promise I won't put a downer on things. Not with how I'm feeling" Heather muttered as she downed the bottle. "Gimme a whiskey, hold the ice and make it a triple" --- Heather Jamison had been through hell over the last year and still hadn't regained control yet. There was a dark cloud looming over her and as fast as she tried she couldn't seem to get her head above water whilst trying to make sure her daughter had everything she needed to live a normal life. What will happen when she meets Adam Ruzek? Will he managed to break through the walls Heather has built.

What do you do when life has kicked you down one too many times? You fight and you fight like hell. Blair had fought all her life, not having anyone to turn to that was until she found she had a half brother living in Chicago. After reaching out to him the pair built a solid relationship providing Blair the stability she needed to rise from the ashes she called her life. However two words made her want to scream. Adam Ruzek.

I know I have two unfinished stories and I'm starting yet another. Please forgive me, I'm stuck in a fog with those two and this idea has been kicking around in my head for about a week. It's going to be dark, much darker than what I normally write. I've also outlined it more than I have ever done with my other stories. Usually, I just write it as I go (which explains frequent episodes of writers block) and never really know for sure where the story will end up. This time I'm making sure I get it right. Now for what this is about. Of course it's Burzek! Though, it takes place during the beginning of their relationship and they are keeping it on the 'DL', that's about it as far as it being similar to the show. Fair warning, the language will be harsh and there will be violence and it may be hard to read. That's all I'm giving you, you'll have to read it.... Please let me know what you think as this isn't my usual style.

Being around the Twenty First District, there's a feeling of family. She doesn't have much family left after growing up, but the cops in the Twenty First definitely took her in as one of theirs. No matter where she goes, she knows she can count on the cops at the Twenty First to have her back. The people that will go far for her will be the people in CPD's Intelligence at the Twenty First.
