John Laurens enters Princeton College and meets his roomate, Hercules Mulligan, his best friends, Lafayette, Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy Schuyler, James Madison, Maria Lewis, and the love of his life, Alexander Hamilton. On the way, he meets new people- such as Thomas Jefferson, Charles Lee, Samuel Seaburry, James Reynolds, and Aaron Burr. Will Laurens throw away his shot at college?

What if you fell in love with a city? The buildings, the noise, the talent, the transportation. The People. More specifically, one person. Alexander Hamilton is an 18 year old looking for a fresh start, away from the storm that was his past. John Laurens is a 19 year old, searching for a reason to smile. Little did they know that on that Saturday morning, on the 1 Train, they would both meet the person who would give them everything. Alexander was now living with the Washingtons, they had recently adopted him a few months ago. Lafayette was like Alex's brother, he was also adopted by the Washington family. For once in his life, he was happy. Lafayette introduced him to his friend group and ended up joining the "Revolutionary Crew" or that's what they like to call themselves. He has a family that loves him, good grades, good friends. Everything was perfect. Except one thing. He never told them that his name is Alexander, not Alexandra.

John Laurens wish he could say that he loved Peggy. After all, they have been a pair since high school. Although he couldn't deny that he cared for the Schuyler sister, in his third year of college, a new potential number jumps into the equation, leaving a helpless John Laurens confused and breathless. ~ Alternating POVs between Alexander and John. Alex only speaks through his journal entries, and John's POV is entirely narrative. ~ REGULAR UPDATES!!!

It was my sophomore year at Uni and I was doomed to get a new roommate because lucky for me, my old one dropped out. So here I am, nervous as fuck because not only am I getting a new roommate, he's some prodigy, here on a full ride after taking a year at Yale. This is a continuation of my other story "New roommates at 2 a.m." It doesn't follow out characters on a day-to-day basis, but rather tells the story of the many adventures and mishaps of everyone's favourite historical dorks.
