The Hargreeves re-grouped in the kitchen, watching the boy they thought they would never see again, stand infront of them. Hannah's eyes were still wide, she didn't know what to feel. Should she be happy that he's back and well? Should she be mad that he left her for the future? She observed the boy. Why had he not changed? He didn't look a day older than when she last saw him. He acted differently. He had a frown line, his jaw was clenched, back slouched, and in general, he just acted... old.
His eyes moved to Hannah time to time, but each time she caught him staring, he quickly reverted his gaze back to his hands. Her hair fell just over her shoulders in thick, soft waves, brushing against her face which held the most amount of beauty. Her cheeks were burnt a rosy red, just like they normally were. Her brown eyes were mesmerizing. When he hugged her, he could smell the scent, missing it. Lavender, like old times. Like the times they used to cuddle up in his bed as children, not knowing about the dozens of pictures his siblings took of them together took keep in their 'Five has a crush on Hannah!' Book. There were also light freckles scattered across her face, that only if you looked closely, you would be able to see.
"What's the date? The exact date." He questioned, grabbing a loaf of bread for his sandwich.
"The 24th," Vanya replied quietly.
"Of what?"
"March,"
"...Good," He sighed.
"So... are we gonna talk about what just happened?"
Five ignored the question, as he set the bread down quietly.
Luther rolled his eyes, before standing up from his seat. "Its been 15 years."
"Its been alot longer than that." Five spat, blinking through Luther and reappearing by the kitchen shelves.
"Haven't missed that."
"Where'd you go?" Diego asked him.
"The future," He blinked back to his original spot by the sandwich. "It's sh!t by the way." He grumbled under his breath as he opened the marshmallow bag.
Klaus raised his index finger. "Called it!"
"I should've listened to the old man, you know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice."
He looked up at his siblings for the first time since he got here. "Nice dress."
"Oh," Klaus smiled. "Well, Danke."
"How did you get back?" Vanya asked.
"In the end, I had to project my consciousness into a forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists in every possible instance of time."
He earned confused looks from everyone, except Hannah. She nodded as he spoke, remembering studying it with him as kids.
"That makes no sense," Diego muttered.
"Well, what if you were smarter?"
"How long were you there?"
"Forty-five years, give or take."
Hannah's eyes widened, before her face softened.
"So what are you saying? That your 58?"
"No," Five spat, "My consciousness is 58, apparently my body is now 13 again." He completed his sandwich. "Delores kept saying the equations were off, bet she's laughing now."
Hannah clenched her jaw at the woman's name. The rest just looked at him confused. Klaus looked at Hannah.
"Delores?"
He ignored the question. "Guess I missed the funeral." He said, as held a newspaper.
Hannah rolled her eyes, feeling she needed to think. She stood up from her chair, leaving an Illusion of herself still listening to the conversation. She ran up to her room, carefully closing the door behind her so they wouldn't hear it. She sighed, and gripped her head. The girl sat down on her bed, and tapped her foot anxiously. Light footsteps tapped against the floor, making their way to her door. A soft knock followed not much longer after.
"Who is it?" She asked, annoyance in her voice.
A short pause went by, before they cleared their voice. "It's Five."
Her head lifted from her hands. She bit her lip, "What do you want?"
"To talk." He said simply.
She let out a huff, "Come in..."
The door slowly creaked open, to see cautious Five, a soft look on his face. His lips twitched upwards. She put her head back into her hands, then felt the spot of the bed next to her sink.
"Flower, I-"
"Don't Flower me!" She exclaimed, and he flinched back slightly.
He sighed calmly, "Hannah, just let me explain."
She looked at her feet, as she felt his gaze on her face. "I'm sorry." He muttered.
She cocked an eyebrow. "For what?"
Five sighed, knowing this was gonna be alot harder than he thought. "Hannah... I-I can't tell you everything right now. But- you were my best friend. I had a reason for leaving. You know why I wanted to leave! I-I-I just didn't think I would get stuck. I tried. Hannah, I tried, so hard, to get back! But... I couldn't."
Hannah abruptly stood up. "But you still left me! All alone! Do you know how much trouble I got in for chasing after you? Five, when you left, It hurt me. I cried for weeks! Scatch that, months! I-"
Five stood up quickly, and cut her off.
"Hannah!" He shouted, "Calm down."
She crossed her arms over her chest. "What did you expect me to say? 'Hey, Five! I know you just randomly showed up after leaving me alone for fifteen years, but let's keep being best friends like we were before!"
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Dolores had told him this would happen.
Hannah wanted to forgive him, so bad. But she was too stubborn.
The two stood in an awkward silence. "I'm sorry." Hannah muttered, looking into his eyes. She gave him a sad smile. "I just missed you."
He smiled back. "I missed you too."

Five now stood in his old uniform, observing the old painting of him, until he felt someone's presence. "Nice to know dad didn't forget me. Read your book, by the way. Found it in the library that was still standing. I thought it was pretty good, all things considered."
Vanya watched him as he walked around the room, he raised an eyebrow. "Is it true? Hannah stopped going on missions for awhile after I left?" He wanted to ask many other questions about things he read about Hannah in the book, but if she knew he knew those things...
Vanya looked down in shame. "Yeah.." She mumbled.
"Yeah, definitely ballesy, giving up the family secrets. I'm sure that went over well."
"They hate me."
"Oh, there are worse things that could happen."
"You mean.. what happened to ben?"
A short moment of silence passed. "Was it bad?" The boy asked.
Vanya nodded.

The Hagreeves children, Grace, and Pogo stood in a distanced circle, as the rain poured loudly on their umbrella's. Hannah shivered slightly, so Five shared his umbrella with her.
"Did something happen?" Grace asked, with a robotic smile on her face.
Hannah furrowed her eyebrows.
"Dad died... remember?"
The smile quickly flashed away, replaced by a frown. "Oh. Yes, of course."
"Is mom okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, she's fine. She just needs to rest, you know. Recharge." Diego replied, looking at his mother.
"Whenever your ready, dear boy." Pogo said to Luther.
Luther nodded, and poured the ashes. Instead of them flying gracefully away in the wind, they all landed in one sad, lumpy pile. Hannah stifled a laugh as Luther glared at her.
"Probably would have been better with some wind."
"Does anyone wish to speak?" Pogo questioned the group, but no one spoke. "Very well. In all regards, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made me what I am today. For that alone, I shall be forever in his debt. He was my master...and my friend. I shall miss him very much. He leaves behind a complicated legacy-"
"He was a monster." Diego hissed, and Klaus let out a breathy chuckle. Hannah snorted as Five glared at her for laughing.
"He was a bad person and a worse father. The worlds better off without him."
"Diego," Allison scolded.
"My name, is Number Two. You know why? Because our father couldn't be bothered to give us actual names. He had mom do it."
"Would anyone like something to eat?"
"No, it's okay, mom."
"Oh, Okay."
"Look, you wanna pay your respects?" Diego stepped forward. "Go ahead. But atleast be honest with the kind of man he was."
"You should stop talking now."
Diego squinted his eyes at Luther. "You know, you of all people should be on my side here, Number One."
"I am warning you."
Hannah sighed, as she picks the dirt from under her fingernails.
"After everything he did to you? He had to ship you a million miles away."
"Diego, stop talking." Luther growled through gritted teeth.
"Thats how much he couldnt stand the sight of you!" He shouted, jabbing his fingers into Luther's chest. Hannah winced as Luther grabbed his arm, and swung to punch him the face, but he ducked to dodge it. Everyone took a step back as the two brothers starting punching each other.
"Boys! Stop this at once." Pogo ordered, but they ignored him.
Klaus put his arm infront of the two 'teens' but Five scoffed and pushed his arm away.
"Come on big boy!"
"Stop it!"
"Do somethings, Han-han." Klaus told her, but she shrugged. "I wanna see how this plays out." Five shook his head as Klaus's eyebrows perked up. "Your right. Hit him! Hit him!" He chanted while Luther got two punches in the face.
"We don't have time for this." Five said, grabbing Hannahs's wrist and dragging her away.
