"Ummm, the people! That put us in that genjutsu! Yes! But...I couldn't get a good look at their faces...they covered my eyes."
"I see..." I cough as Sakura and Idate finally meet up with us.
"We have to go, like, right now" Sakura informs us. We all nod and get back on track. My mind still on the events that had happened 15-20 minutes ago.

*𝟸𝟹 𝙼𝚒𝚗𝚞𝚝𝚎𝚜 𝙴𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚒𝚎𝚛*
"Who are-...you.."
"Y/N.."
His voice slurred out in a quiet and hushed tone.
I saw as his slim body came into light, showing off his white skin and silky black hair. His long tongue licking his chops before a grim smile slithered on to his mouth, his eyes lightly closing and focusing on me.
"Y/N Uchiha..."
I lightly gasped as he reshaped my name from Uzumaki to Uchiha. I lightly shake my head and close my mouth tightly shut from his presence. He didn't look familiar but it was as if I have seen him before.
"You might be wandering how I know you, Y/N." The man cooed as he took another step closer to my frozen body. My eyes continued to grow wider the closer he got to my private bubble.
"You do not have to be afraid of me, I am here to help," The stranger smiled, "I am here to give you...power."
The hissing and slithering in his voice gave me the image of a snake, making me lose my focus. Without realizing in time, he had launched his long neck towards me. I try to scream but before anything had left my mouth, something grabs my wrists, forcefully pulling me away from the long necked man.
I wince as I am released and take a look at my right hand in pain. The red marks coming to light and painting my skin. I look up in front of me and watch the man retract his neck back to his body. I think that was what set me back to reality...I did know this guy.
"Y-you were th-at g-guy from the c-chunin exams..." The stranger smiles, happily taking me comment and a compliment of being noticed and popular. I take a deep breath out and inhale sharply as a hand rested on my shoulder from behind me. I didn't even have to look at him to know who he was. It was all in his voice.
"Orochimaru, what a coincidence seeing you here, sorry to inconvenience you but...You will not be taking Y/N."
Orochimaru hisses at him in anger and disgust before letting his long tongue creepily falls and wobble in the air as a real snake would in order to sense its prey.
"You have no business being here Itachi. I know the Akatsuki didn't send you nor Kisame on a mission this far from...home..."
Itachi calmly breaths yet slightly tightens his grip around my shoulder. He knew what Orochimaru was capable of and didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.
I knew what Itachi had done in the past and I knew the he knew I was an Uchiha but for some reason, I felt my body backing subconsciously into him for comfort and safety. Orochimaru watched in amusement from my actions and chuckled to himself before his face went completely blank. Surprisingly changing from smiling to frowning in seconds.
"I don't want to have to fight you, Orochimaru." Itachi stated calmly before moving me behind him, his red clouded cloak rubbing against my cheek making them warm.
"Itachi...?" I quietly call out his name yet he didn't bother to look my way, his eyes solely focused on Orochimaru.
"I don't want to have to fight either....Itachi..." Orochimaru spit out the Uchiha's name with venom as he slowly took a couple steps back to where he was hiding in the bushes. He narrowed his slit shaped eyes at both of us before opening his mouth to speak.
"We will have to talk another time, Y/N."
With that, Orochimaru slithered back into the bushes where he came from and it went completely silent. Itachi waited and stood still for another couple of minutes before sighing out and relaxing is shoulders. He turns his head towards me, showing off his stress lines and dark bangs. His face was incredibly smooth with no sign of any acne. Lucky bastard.
"Y/N." I jump slightly and removed my hand that was clasped around the Uchiha's arm.
"I-I am sorry..."
He turned his body and looked down upon me. As if contemplating something.
'Please don't kill me, please don't kill me, please don't kill me.'
I said those words in my head like a prayer but was soon cut off when Itachi rested his hand upon my shoulder again. I stiffened up and slowly lifted my head to the Uchiha who's eyes weren't activated anymore.
"There's no need to fret, I didn't come here to hurt or kill you. I wanted to ask you a couple of questions..."
I tilt my head at Itachi, curious of what he wanted to ask me. I watch him retract a little away from me and slowly sit on the floor, his legs going criss cross and his hands resting upon his knees. I hesitate before following in pursuit but instead sitting on my knees. There was a couple seconds of awkward silence before Itachi lightly coughed, quickly covering his mouth with his sleeve as to not be disrespectful. Afterwards he cleared his throat and opened his soft mouth to speak.
"I am not here to harm you, as you already know...I just want to, talk." I nod slowly and awkwardly in response as my eyes couldn't help but graze over his face and appearance. He was definitely Sasuke's brother, that's for sure. I twitch and fidget a little before clearing my throat.
"I um, w-what did you- or do you, want to talk about?" Itachi calmly closed his eyes towards me and breathed through his nose.
"How is Sasuke doing...Is he eating well or is he set on a only tomato diet...*ehem* and does he sleep at least 8 to 9 hours a day? Does he know his manners and does he-"
"Woah, woah, woah." I stopped him mid question. Itachi seemed to go slightly wide eyed realizing what he was saying and doing. His hands were fidgeting with each other nervously the whole time he spoke. He straightens up and looks intimidatingly at me.
"I'm sorry for the flowing questions, I was just asking."
I couldn't help but smile at Itachi. I knew he wasn't all cold and heartless, I always knew the love for his brother was still strong and holding on to his heart with no worries of ever fading. I take a deep breath and begin to speak.
"Sasuke has an attitude of course but....he's doing the best he can right now."
I see Itachi slightly smile at my comment and before he wanted to reply, I interrupted him again.
"He doesn't constantly eat tomatoes i've made him rice annnd actually, we both have eaten dango together. Crazy right! Would have thought he hated sweets entirely." I smile back at Itachi full heartedly as the Uchiha seems to awe at my responses to his questions.
"I make sure he sleeps at least 7-8 hours or he will just sit still all night thinking to himself. Might not be 9 Itachi but, I try. Lastly Itachi, yes, Sasuke does know his manners."

I watch as what I thought a tear appear from the corner of the Uchiha's eyes but then dispersed just a quick as it came. I almost wanted to reach out and wrap my arms around his cloak, giving him a well deserved and wanted hug but I knew that would only make him feel uncomfortable.
"Y/N." I hummed in reply and looked up at him.
"Thank you."
I sat still as Itachi stood up slowly, turning away and walking a great distance before facing my direction again as I then decided to stand up. I look to my side towards him and give him a weak smile. He closes his eyes and nods before I watch a crow come from his mouth and then slowly the rest of his body. I waited until nothing left and got down on my knees, still shocked from what had happened.
'Itachi, I never knew you had that kind of side....' I thought to myself, giggling slightly. Suddenly my eyebrows furrow. I could sense ninja coming. It's Sasuke and Naruto! ummmmm, shi-
'ACT NATURAL' I thought quickly.
I scurry to my feet from what had happened just now. I rub my shoulder's and right wrist in pain from the sudden grab he had given me. I wonder why both of them were here for me at this time of day, I would think they both didn't expect the circumstances they were put into. Either way, I am glad that is over.
"I cannot believe they would both appear with Sasuke so close by, they had to have known he was here so...were they after him too? No, that can't be it..."
"Y/N!?"
My head perks up from the sound of my name making me quickly get to my feet and turn to the source of it. I feel my tears finally dry and my mouth curve into a smile as both my crush and brother appeared before me.
"S-Sasuke! Naruto! Ooooh I am so happy to see you two!" I exclaim bringing them both into a tight hug.
"Y/N! Are you ok? I am sorry for not noticing you were missing..." I laugh and shake my head.
"It's ok Naruto, everything is good."
I let go of the hug and look at Sasuke, who seemed to be preoccupied with something...my wrist. He grabs it and studies the marks.
"Who did this?" I freeze, to scared to tell him who did it, I am sure if I did he would want to kill him even more.
