So I decided to do something for werewolf week. I got into Wattpad in the first place because of Teen wolf and started reading Sterek fanfics on here. I have never actually written something for Sterek so this is completely new territory.
For anyone who doesn't read supernatural fanfics and that stuff. Basically the alfa is the leader of the pack. The betas are all the others in the pack. To make this easier for you I am not using the omegas.
I think that clears it all. Have fun reading.
3rd person POV
Clay was a born werewolf. He had been a beta for his whole life, until recently, when his mother passed away and he became the new alfa of his pack. Clay had an older sister, but she wasn't apart of the WasTaken pack. Clays older sister had joined her husbands pack when they got married. That is how it works, the weakest in the relationship joins the strongest's pack. Clay being the strongest beta in his pack, he became the alfa after his mothers unexpected death.
Now all Clay had to do was to find his mate. He had to find the pack their mother. Clay knew his mate was out there somewhere. He didn't know if his mate was human or werewolf, if his mate was a boy, a girl or anything in between. Clay was the most openly pansexual werewolf his pack had ever met, and they were all chill with it. After all he would be able to tell through their scent if they weren't.
Let me introduce you to the WasTaken pack.
Clay is the alfa of the pack. Being the alfa comes with a lot of responsibilities, something Clay had been taught by his mother. He is also the strongest and smartest one of the group.
Nick, who is Clays best friend and the strongest beta of the pack. Clays mother had taken Nick in about a year ago, after the rest of his pack died to hunters on a full moon.
Drista, who is Clays younger sister, she is unbelievably strong for her age. The only problem is that she is the youngest and the only girl in the pack, which means that everyone, especially Clay, just wants to protect her. So no one really realizes how strong she is.
Clays brother, Ethan who is almost as strong as Nick. Although he is one of the strongest in the pack, he is humble and down to earth. He contains his powers easily, until someone messes with his pack.
Darryl his nickname is Bad, a newer and not so strong member, but what he don't have in combat he makes up for with his brain and his kindness. Darryl was turned by accident 1 month ago after a new alfa had bit him, the alfa wasn't ready to have a beta so he asked if Clays mother could take him and the pack said yes. Darryl isn't able to contain his powers, which makes for some hard training.
Tommy who is a really strong beta, but he often let his emotions guide him. Tommy had been a part of the pack basically since he was born. His parents died just a year after he was born and because the packs were close Clays mother took him in.
Tubbo was not a werewolf, but they all considered him pack. Tubbo is Tommy's best friend. Clays mother had planned on turning Tubbo when time was right, that was now Clays plan, but Clay wasn't ready to turn someone yet.
The pack lives together in a big house, just outside a big city. Tubbo doesn't live with them, since he has his own family and they don't know about his friends being werewolves.
31st of October (Full moon halloween.)
The pack is always together on days with a full moon. The moon has a power over every werewolf, but some werewolf know how to overpower it. That wasn't Darryls case. It is only Darryls second full moon so he still has trouble with the moon. Clay trains every day with Darryl so he someday will be able to control his powers and urge to kill.
The day started out like any other Saturday. Tommy, Tubbo, Drista, Ethan and Nick are all doing their homework in the living room. Nick and Ethan are both juniors in college, Tommy and Tubbo are freshmen in college and Drista is a junior in high school.
Clay and Darryl have both graduated, Darryl owns his own Minecraft server called MunchyMC and Clay just resigned his job to take care of his pack full time. Clay is helping Darryl with his senses in the garden. Drista walked out into the garden, because she done with her homework.
"Drista! Can you help real quick?" Clay asked.
"With what?" She asked walking over to Clay and Bad.
"Could you hide somewhere in the forest, then let Bad find you?" Clay asked, he wanted to test Bad's senses. They had done the same test a week ago but with Tommy, but Bad wasn't able to find him.
"Sure." Drista said happy that she could help.
"Just be careful. If you smell anyone who is not us. Run." Clay said, being the protective older brother.
"I got it. Thank you. I am going to bring my phone and if you don't find me I will be back before 5." Drista started running into the woods.
Clay followed Bad around as he was trying to find Drista. Clay smelling every once in a while, to see if he could find her. Bad got a scent from somewhere.
"I think I got it!" He exclaimed happily and began to run towards her direction. "I DID IT!" Bad screamed once he reached her. Drista was sitting in a den made out of trees and branches.
"You did it!" Drista exclaimed happily. The both looked around for Clay, who was no where in sight. "Clay?!" Drista called. She tried to smell where he was, but she got nothing. "CLAY! Where are you?!" She called again, with worry in her voice.
"He is probably okay. Let's go back to the house to see if he is there." Bad tried to cheer her up.
They walked back to the house and could hear the pack inside.
"Guys, is Clay here?" Drista asked once she entered the living room. They all looked at her with confusion.
"No, he isn't? Didn't you guys train with him?" Nick asked confused.
"We did, but then he disappeared. I couldn't catch a scent..." Drista said, starting to worry a lot about her older brother.
"Drista it is okay. He is probably fine..." Nick said.
"Bullshit! You are worried too, don't try to hide it!" She yelled. "You all reek of worry, I am not stupid!" Ethan walked over to his sister.
"We will go find him, okay?" He said reaching out for his sister. "We have to chain Darryl up first, just in case. And then we go look for him." Ethan stated. "Nick can you?" Nick nodded and went down to the basement with Bad to tie him up.
"We will let you know when we find him..." Nick said to Bad as he tightened the chains around Darryl ankles. Bad nodded.
"Just be careful. You never know what could happen on a full moon." Bad answered, giving Nick a fake smile.
Nick went up to the rest of the pack.
"We need someone to stay here, if he comes back." Nick stated. They all nodded.
"I can go stay with Bad..." Tubbo said quiet. Tubbo had never been out with the rest of them on full moon missions, so he figured that would be for the best.
"There is no way I am letting you stay in here alone!" Tommy said protecting his best friend. "You are not staying in this house with a werewolf who can't control himself, on a full moon." The pack had never seen Tommy worried before.
"Tommy, Bad would never hurt me, you know that." Tubbo said breaking the silence. "Besides if I go with you I will just slow you down. I can stay here, the chains will keep him locked." Tommy nodded, knowing that Tubbo was right.
"Everyone agrees with him?" Tommy looked around. They were all quiet. "Fine. Just, call if anything happens. No matter what!" Tubbo nodded. "Be careful."
The pack walked out and was met with darkness outside. The group decided to split up into two groups one group checking the forest surrounding their house and the other going to the city. Tommy and Nick took the forest and Drista and Ethan the city.
Drista was worried, but she couldn't show it. Drista knew if she showed her worry she wouldn't be allowed to go again. But Ethan could smell it, and as much as Drista didn't like them walking on tiptoes around her, Ethan couldn't just let her suffer alone. Ethan grabbed Drista's hand and gave it a squeeze as soon as the others couldn't see them.
"We will find him." Ethan stated, as if this was something that happened often. Which it hasn't. To let you know, last time someone disappeared like this it was their mother. That was the last time they saw her. They never found a body or anything, the only way they knew was dead was because Clay's eyes had changed to a deep red.
"What if we don't? I can't lose him as well..." Drista said, tears threatening to fall.
Clay POV
I have no idea where I am. The room is dark and smells weird. My powers are completely gone, my strength, the hearing, the sense of smell. I couldn't do anything but pray that I was going to survive this. Maybe this is where my mom died. Maybe they wanted to do the same to me. Whoever they are. The door slowly opened and a bit of light from the hallway shed through the creek. I could see a silhouette of a man in the door opening.
"Well Clay... It is nice to finally meet you." The man said walking through the door. He turned on the lights in the room. They were bright and took some getting used to. I didn't recognize the man in front of me. "How rude of me I didn't introduce myself. My name is Schlatt. And you guessed right. I did kill your mother, but only because she didn't answer my questions. So if you answer them, I might just let you go."
"Just tell me what you want!" I yelled at the man in front of me.
"I want the foxes!" He answered matching my volume. The foxes? What foxes? I didn't know any foxes.
"What foxes are you talking about?" He started walking around the chair I was sitting in.
"Don't play stupid. I have heard you are a very smart boy Clay. The foxes." I have heard about werefoxes, but I have never actually met one. They are tricky creatures and usually don't stay with packs for a long period of time. "The gay foxes. You must know them. Your mother did."
"I don't know any foxes, let alone any gay ones." I answered looking at him.
"Fine. You can stay down here for tonight. But if you don't answer me tomorrow, I might just have to kill you. And that would be a shame." He said, with no emotion in his voice. The man left the room with the lights off.
3rd person POV
Tommy and Nick had been looking for Clay for 3 hours now, with no scent what so ever. While they were looking Tommy got a phone call from Tubbo.
"Hey, is everything okay?" Tommy asked as he picked up the phone.
"Yeah, but Bad is talking about a fox? I have no idea what that means, maybe I need some help with him." Tubbo answered, sounding confused. Tommy turned his phone on speaker and turned to face Nick.
"He is talking about a fox?" Tommy asked.
"Yeah. He keeps saying that we have to look for the fox." Nick looked equally as confused as Tommy.
"Okay, we will be there soon. Can you text Drista and Ethan to come back?" Nick asked. Directed towards Tubbo.
"Yeah, will do. See you soon." Tubbo said and hung up.
The pack hurried home to take a look at Bad. Tubbo took them down to the basement where Bad was talking. His eyes were normal, which was unusual, considering it was a full moon.
"Tubbo the fox! You have to find the fox! They want the fox!" Bad yelled as the door opened.
"Darryl are you okay?" Nick asked, standing a few feet in front of Bad.
"I am good, but the fox. The fox is not good." Bad said worried.
"Okay, can you tell us where the fox is?" Nick asked, walking closer to Bad.
"I think he is here." They heard a knock on the door. Followed by someone opening the door and running towards the stairs. "Don't hurt him!" Bad yelled, as he ran through the door. The fox was in fox form, he ran straight over to Bad. "He is?" Bad asked, no one else heard anything. "Well what do we do then?" Bad had a shocked expression on his face. "His mate?" Bad turned to the pack, standing looking weird at him. "What?" He asked. Ethan spoke up.
"Firstly, you are in control... I think. Secondly, none of us can hear the fox speaking." He stated looking around at everyone else. "Translate, please."
"Well this fox name is Zak and he says that his best friend George didn't have the power to get here. He just collapsed. Something drew Zak here and now he wants help." The rest of the pack looked at each other confused. "Are you guys going to remove the chains?" Bad asked. Nick and Ethan walked forward to remove them. The fox ran outside to his friend. The pack followed the smaller creature. Ethan, Nick and Tommy shifted to run faster, while Bad, Drista and Tubbo ran after them. When they came to the end of the forest, they saw a boy laying curled up on some leaves and branches. The boy didn't have any clothes on, from shifting. Nick and Ethan handed him their jacket and sweater, to cover up a bit.
"George, right?" Nick asked quiet. The boy nodded. "I am Nick, your friend Zak told us about you." Nick picked George up to carry him, George was still shaking from the cold. Nick carried George to the pack house and sat him down in front of a heater. George was hit with a crazy sensation as soon as they walked through the doors. The scent of vanilla and lavender hit him hard and he forgot what was happening. Zak, the other fox ran to the bathroom to shift form.
"Can I borrow some clothes from anyone? I am about the same size as George." Ethan and Tommy being tall looked at Nick and Darryl for help. They both went to their rooms to grab an outfit for each fox. Bad handed Zak his clothes and Nick handed George his. The clothes was a bit too big for both foxes.
"So?" Tommy started, he was getting impatient.
"Well, I think my mate is in danger." George started. "And something brought Zak and I here, so we think you might know my mate." The pack all looked at each other.
"Clay?" Drista asked quietly.
"So it is a boy." George stated. "Well I don't know what happened, but my powers just disappeared suddenly. Where is he? Can I see him?" George asked looking around.
"We don't know where he is..." Ethan said, sitting down next to George. "He disappeared just before sun down. We couldn't find a scent, so whoever took him, they are good..."
"Maybe I can. Maybe I can find a connection somewhere." George said, with hope in his voice.
"George, you know that is not how it works..." Zak said, killing the mood.
"Well you found him." George said pointing at Bad. "Maybe I can do it."
"Wait Bad is Zak's mate?" Tubbo asked. "I am not surprised."
"Let me try. What else is there to do?" George asked, getting up.
"Your powers doesn't even work." Zak stated. That didn't stop George, he got up and walked outside, feeling his surroundings.
"Foxes huh? The tricky creatures." Tommy asked Zak. "I am Tommy." He said excited and held his hand out for Zak to take, once he did he pulled Zak closer to whisper. "Don't break his heart."
"I would never." Zak said, pulling away, slightly.
"Okay don't kill each other! We have an alfa to find." Tubbo said, getting in between the two boys about to start an argument. Zak walked over to Bad and started a conversation with him. "Tommy! You know how mates work!" Tubbo whisper-yelled at Tommy.
"I know. I just don't want Bad to get hurt..." Tommy said, losing their alfa really did something to Tommy's vulnerability.
"And that is okay. But Zak is Bad's mate and we have to respect that." Tubbo said. Tommy nodded. George fell as Tubbo finished his talking. George was screaming in pain, feeling everything Clay was feeling.
Clay POV
The torture was too much, especially without my powers. Schlatt was sending electric shocks through my body. I couldn't do anything to make the pain disappear. That was until I heard it. I could hear a heartbeat. It was beating fast, as if they were in pain as well. The only power I had was the hearing and the only thing I could hear was that one heartbeat. I decided to scream. Thinking that whoever it was, they were close by.
"HEELP!" Tears were streaming down my face, from the pain I was in.
"We are coming..." I heard a voice whisper. It was a he. And he could hear me. "Where are you?" He asked, worry in his voice.
"I don't know. In a-" I was cut off mid sentence, not being able to speak from the pain I felt. "a dark room. My powers don't work."
"He says his powers doesn't work and he is in a dark room!" That was the last thing I heard before passing out, the pain was too much, so my body just shut off.
3rd person POV
George could feel the tiredness washing over him. No pain anymore just sleepiness.
"We need to find him." He said, getting up from the place he fell.
"Guys! I can hear electricity from here." Drista shouted, walking towards a barn. The pack and the two foxes came running towards her. She broke the lock with her super strength and walked in. There was nothing in the room, except a staircase going down.
"Let me go first." Ethan said, protecting his sister. The rest of the pack followed. Nick being the last one. The staircase led to a metal door. None of them could use their supernatural powers down here. Nick pressed a button opening the door to the room Clay was sitting in and the machine giving him shock. Schlatt was standing on the other side of the room, controlling the machine.
"How did you find this place?" He asked, once he saw the pack standing in the door. "Too bad you are late!" Schlatt pressed a button, that shocked Clay enough to kill a werewolf with powers, let alone one without. Clay wasn't breathing and George fell to the floor. George couldn't feel anything. Everything was just empty.
Drista and Tommy ran towards Schlatt, seemingly to kill him. Once they reached him they remembered they didn't have any power. They pushed him to the floor and started punching him instead. Nick and Bad tied Clay out of the chair and carried him to the outside to get away from a place where they were just human. Zak and Ethan got George and carried him up. Once Schlatt passed out Drista and Tommy walked up, followed by Tubbo.
Nick started performing CPR on Clay, all of them were crying and Nick was screaming.
"CLAY! Don't do this! You can't leave! Not now! My eyes didn't change! CLAY YOU AREN'T DEAD!" Nick screamed, knowing it was too late. Nick stopped the CPR. George felt a bit of power in him and walked over to Clays body and sat down beside Clays head.
"Please..." George whispered. "I want to get to know you... I want to fall in love with you... Please let me fall in love with you... Please..." George was crying harder than he had ever done before. George bent down to kiss Clays forehead. "Please don't go without knowing me..." Then George heard a heartbeat. He looked down to see Clay breathing, his eyes still closed. "Can I see your eyes?" George asked, still whispering. Clay opened his eyes and George was meet with his werewolf eyes. A red color, which George couldn't see, but he knew they were red.
"I wanna fall in love with you too..." Clay whispered, looking at George. Everyone ran over to the two boys, hearing Clays voice. Clay started laughing at the state everyone was in. "We have to get Schlatt." Clay said looking up at everyone.
"What do you wanna do with him?" Tubbo asked.
"I am not sure." Clay turned his head to look at George. "Any ideas?" George turned to face Zak.
"We know someone who can take care of him." George said, looking back at Clay. Zak walked away to make a call. The pack went down to get Schlatt, which left Clay and George alone. Both boys felt their stomach turn, just looking at each other.
"Thank you." Clay said. "Thank you for saving me." Clay sat up, to get a better look of George. "Wait! You are the fox?" Clay asked confused.
"I am a fox? What do you mean THE fox?" George asked.
"Schlatt talked about wanting to find two gay foxes..." Clay stated.
"So people know about me and Zak?" Georges breathing was getting faster. "How does he know?"
"Hey... It is okay." Clay said grabbing Georges hands. "Did you know my mom, Sarah?" Clay asked, he could see Georges eyes light up.
"Know? Is she?" Clay nodded. "I am so sorry... Yeah I knew her. She would take care of Zak and I whenever we came by the city.. She was amazing." George could see the tears in Clays eyes. He pulled him in for a hug. "It is okay... It is going to be okay..." The pack came back up, surrounding Schlatt. Ethan and Nick holding his arms in lock.
"Jimmy will be here soon with Karl to take care of Schlatt." Zak said, hanging up.
"Can I see the foxes, before they take me away?" Clay got up from the ground and walked towards Schlatt.
"If you as much as think about touching one little hair on their heads, I will make sure you never live to see anything ever again!" Clays alfa instincts kicked in. George grabbed Clays hand, telling him to calm down.
"How did you know about us?" George asked, stepping in front of Clay.
"The mate of the son of the WasTaken alfa. And you are a fox." Schlatt started laughing. "If any hunter hasn't heard of you, I would be more surprised. Plus you have a best friend, who is also the mate of a WasTaken... You guys are world famous." Zak and George looked at each other.
"Okay that is enough!" Clay stepped in again. "I don't wanna see his face anymore guys." Ethan and Nick walked away with Schlatt. Zak and Bad following close behind. "Hey, it is okay to be scared." Clay said holding George tight. "We have people to protect you. Allies, this whole pack there are so many people who would protect you with their lives." Clays said pulling away. George nodded.
"It is just... A lot... My mate almost dying, me meeting my mate and now knowing all hunters want us dead." George said, his breathing calming down again.
"Guys Jimmy and Karl are here! Come meet them!" Zak yelled. Nick was starting to feel a pull as the car parked in front of him. When the passenger door swung open to reveal the most gorgeous boy he had ever seen he couldn't contain himself. Karl looked around feeling an equally strong pull. When he saw Nick running towards him, he knew what it was. Karl sat still, knowing that would be the easiest way to scent each other. Nick buried his head in Karls neck and Karl did the same to Nick, the two rubbing on each others necks. Nick pulled away in satisfaction. Everyone would know Karl is his now.
"I am Nick, nice to meet you." Nick said, holding his hand out for Karl to take.
"I am Karl, nice to meet you too." He said grabbing Nicks hand and laughing. Georges hand had slid into Clay's, without either of them realizing. Jimmy commented on it.
"I see we have more than one new couple." He said, teasingly.
"Actually three." Zak said, taking Bad's hand.
Soo, late edit.. Uhh, I want to say that obviously Schlatt isn't a bad person irl. I just needed a villain for the story and seeing that Schlatt was the villain of the SMP at the time of writing this, I thought it made sense to put him as a villain here.
