A hospital is shown where a girl is shown sitting outside the operation theatre. She was sitting on the chair and continuously praying to God to save the person.
The girl was Zoya Siddiqui.
The doctor comes out and she immediately goes to him. "Doctor, how is he?" asked Zoya. The doctor replied, "We have tried our best but the chances of his survival are very less. We don't want to give you false hopes." Saying this, the doctor left from there making Zoya more shattered than she already was.
"Nothing will happen to you Aditya. I know Allah always listens to me. Today also he will listen and you will be safe", said Zoya to convince herself.
The doctors shifted Aditya in the ICU and allowed Zoya to see him. Zoya went in but a sob escaped from her mouth as she saw his condition. He was always the one who wanted to make others smile. This was not fair. Her Aditya didn't deserve this. She went near the bed and held his hand.
Zoya told Aditya, "Don't worry Aditya. I know you will be fine one day. Don't leave me alone. You promised me, didn't you?"
Suddenly his heartbeats started showing fluctuations and the machine started making sounds. A nurse, who was present in the room, saw this. "Ma'am, his heartbeats are fluctuating", informed the nurse. The doctor entered the room and checked him. The doctor told Zoya, "You please go out for a while. We need to check him." "He will... will be fine... right?" asked Zoya. "Mrs. Hooda we need to check him. You go out for a while", said the doctor.
Zoya left the room and stood outside, praying to Allah to save him. The doctor came out after a while and Zoya looked at him hopefully.
"What happened, Doctor?" asked Zoya. "Your husband has gained consciousness and now, he wants to meet you", replied the Doctor.
Zoya got happy and immediately went in the room and ran to him.
"I knew it Aditya you won't leave me. You cannot leave me", said Zoya while holding his hand. "Zoya, listen to me. I don't have much time with me", replied Aditya while breathing heavily. Zoya nodded in a no, saying, "What are you saying? We have our entire lives together." Aditya denied, saying, "You have your entire life, not me. Listen to me very carefully. Don't lose hope. Even if I go away from you, you have your family with you. You have Sahir and his family. Will you stay happy?"
"What nonsense is this Aditya? Don't make me angry. I don't want to slap you when you are on this hospital bed", said Zoya with tears flowing from her eyes. "Stop crying. Your tears are my weakness", Aditya told Zoya while raising his hand to cup her cheeks.
"Maybe our journey was till here only", said Aditya. "Don't say like this, please Aditya", replied Zoya while crying heavily, and continued, "You know that I cannot live without you."
Aditya was in tears, but not because of his pain, because of Zoya's condition.
"You risked your life to save me. I should have agreed when your mother said that I am a bad luck", said Zoya. "Stop saying that you are a bad luck. I lived the best moments of my life with you. And you are not a bad luck. But listen to me. Go away from this city. Go away from Mumbai", replied Aditya.
"Why?" asked Zoya, innocently. "I don't have time for explaining it to you", replied Aditya, denying to tell her the reason.
"Aditya I'll kill myself if anything happens to you", stated Zoya, emotionally. "You are not doing anything like that. If you want my soul in peace, then promise me two things. First is that you will not even think of killing yourself. I don't want my bubbly Zoya to die. And second is that don't come in this city again. Go to Lucknow. Sahir will keep you safe. He has promised to protect us, right?", said Aditya.
Zoya broke down and asked, "How will I live without you?" "Just the way you did before I came into your life. Think of me as a dream that just broke when you woke up", replied Aditya, with his eyes closed.
Zoya kept her head on his chest and cried badly. "I love you, Aditya", said Zoya. Aditya replied, "I love you too, and will always do."
His heartbeats stopped with this and Zoya couldn't stop crying. The doctor came in the room. Seeing him, Zoya questioned him angrily, "Why didn't you say that Aditya is not going to make it?" "He asked for it. He didn't want me to tell you this. Ha had severe in internal injuries", replied the doctor remorsefully. By listening to him, Zoya cried more.
"Where are your other family members?" asked the doctor. "We have no one with us", replied Zoya. The doctor nodded and said, "We will soon discharge his body. If you want, we can directly take him to burial sites."
Zoya nodded, and went out without saying anything, walking like a lifeless body. She bumped into someone while walking. The person held her shoulder to bring her in senses. The person was Arjun.
"Bhabhi, where is Bhai? He is okay, right?" asked Arjun. Zoya didn't say anything but pointed towards the room where the ward boys were keeping Aditya's body on a stretcher. Arjun stumbled upon the realisation that his brother was no more. He was shocked but he needed to console Zoya too. "Bhabhi we both will go and give him a final goodbye", he choked while saying the word final.
Zoya looked at Arjun without saying a single word. Arjun went and completed the formalities of the hospital. He and Zoya sat in the ambulance in which they were taking Aditya's body. After reaching the site, Arjun burnt Aditya's pyre. They both stayed there for sometime. In evening, Arjun looked at Zoya who hadn't uttered a single word since the time he met her today. This was very unusual of her as she was very talkative. He still remembers the day when Aditya had told him that he made two friends and one of them never stopped talking.
"Bhabhi you come with me. Mom and Dad are not here. And they don't even know about Bhai...", offered Arjun but he couldn't complete his sentence. Zoya denied, saying, "No Arjun. I have promised Aditya something. He wants to me leave this city. I don't know the reason but Aditya always wanted the best for me. So, I am going away from this city."
"But what about your family? If you don't want to think of your parents that is okay but what about Noor? At least meet her once", said Arjun. "Arjun, if I go home now then Ammi and Abbu won't let me leave this city, and I don't want to upset Aditya", replied Zoya. "What about Noor?" asked Arjun. "Can I take your mobile phone?" requested Zoya.
Arjun quietly gave her his mobile phone and Zoya called Noor. As she picks up the call, Zoya spoke, "Noor..." Her voice broke when she said her sister's name.
Noor got tensed on hearing Zoya crying and asked, "Appi what happened? Why are you crying?" "Can you come at the Railway Station? Please don't inform Ammi and Abbu about this", requested Zoya. Noor disconnected the call by saying, "Ok Appi. I am coming there."
Zoya gave the mobile back to Arjun. "Bhabhi, where will you go?" asked Arjun. "Aditya wants me to go to Lucknow. Our best friend stays there. You know what? Your brother took this promise from me because he knew that Sahir will ways take care of me. But what about me? I wanted to go to meet Sahir with Aditya by my side. But..." said Zoya and she broke down again. Arjun hugged her to console her.
At the Railway Station...
Arjun and Zoya were standing when Noor came there. She hugged Zoya after seeing her condition. She knew that her sister would be very shattered after Aditya's death as Arjun already told her everything on the call. She broke the hug.
"Appi, are you sure that you will manage to go alone?" asked Noor, concerned for her sister. "Yes, Noor. You just take care of Ammi and Abbu. Don't tell them that I am in Lucknow", replied Zoya.
They all heard the announcement of the arrival of Zoya's train. As the train arrived, Zoya sat after bidding bye to Arjun and Noor. Zoya spent the time in the train by thinking about her Aditya.
The next night...
It was 1 in the night and in the Chaudhary Mansion in Lucknow, everyone was sleeping. But their sleep broke when the doorbell rang. Alvira and Zaki come out of their rooms and saw that a servant had already opened the door. But the visitor was not visible to them.
"Who is it Sheetal?", asked Alvira to the maid. "Ma'am, a girl has come and she says that she wants to meet Sahir Sir", replied the maid.
Alvira and Zaki gets confused. "Who wants to meet Bhaijaan now?" asked Zaki to no one in particular.
They both went to the door and got shocked seeing the person. "Zoya what are you doing here? And look at your condition. What's wrong?" asked Zaki. "I am sorry that I disturbed you at this time, but I want to meet Sahir", replied Zoya. Alvira interrupted them by saying, "Zoya, first come in."
Zoya entered the mansion and Alvira made her sit on the sofa. The maid brought water for her and she drank it. "I'll go and call Bhaijaan", said Zaki and left from there.
Zaki entered Sahir's room and found him sleeping. He woke him up. Sahir opened his eyes and looked at Zaki. He immediately stood up after seeing the time guessing it might be an emergency or else Zaki wouldn't have come to his room at 1 in the night. "What happened, Zaki? Is everything okay?" asked Sahir.
"Zoya is here", replied Zaki. Sahir got surprised and a wide smile adorned his face. "Why didn't you tell me before?" asked Sahir. "Bhaijaan, she is not that Zoya whom I saw on the day of her wedding. Today, it seems like she is a living corpse", confessed Zaki.
Sahir got confused and asked, "Is Aditya also here?" Zaki nodded in a no, and said, "That is why I came here to call you immediately. I think Zoya will open up to you." Sahir immediately nodded and they went downstairs.
As they reached the living room, they found Zoya crying badly while hugging Alvira. She was caressing Zoya's hair to calm her down. As they went near them, they were able to hear some of their words. Zoya and Aditya were unaware of their presence.
"It is okay Beta. You have us with you", said Alvira to console Zoya. "But he didn't deserve this. He... He...", she couldn't complete her sentence because of hiccups. Alvira rubbed her back and they saw Sahir and Zaki. They stood up and faced them. Sahir was tensed to see her crying.
"What happened Zoya? Why are you crying? Did Aditya say something to you? First you tell me where is he?" asked Sahir. On listening to his words, Zoya started crying more.
"Sahir, Aditya won't come here", said Alvira. Sahir got confused and asked, "But why?" Zoya managed to utter, "Acc... accident." Sahir got shocked and asked, "What are you even saying?"
-Flashback-
Aditya was driving the car and Zoya was sitting beside him.
"Aditya, you have destroyed our sim cards but what if they find us again?" asked Zoya, tensedly. "Nothing will happen. I think first of all we should get another cards. Then we will go away from here so that no one will be able to find us", replied Aditya. "But where are we going?" asked Zoya. "I'll tell you everything later. Now, don't be tensed, and enjoy these moments", replied Aditya.
Zoya smilef a bit and Aditya smiled back.. He continued driving but after a few minutes, Aditya saw in the mirror that a car has been following them since long time. He felt something fishy but ignored it. But the car bumped into their car making Aditya and Zoya jerk. Aditya felt that they should immediately leave from the place and takes another route while Zoya was clueless about his thoughts.
"Aditya, what happened?" asked Zoya. "Zoya, we need to get out of here as soon as possible. Let me take another route", replied Aditya.
But two car came opposite their car and Adiya got tensed. "Aditya, now what will we do?" asked Zoya while biting her lower lip. "I think I should go out of the car and see that who are they", suggested Aditya.
"What if they are here again to harm us?" asked Zoya and got tensed. "You just stay in the car. Don't come out", replied Aditya. "But..." Before Zoya could speak further, Aditya interrupted her, saying, "Don't say anything. I am going."
While getting out of the car, Aditya felt something uneasy. So he gently kissed Zoya's forehead before going. Zoya too felt something odd so she held his wrist.
"Promise me that you will be fine", said Zoya with tears in her eyes. "I promise that I won't let anything happen to you", said Aditya.
Saying this, he stepped out of the car. Seeing him out of the car, the people in the car also came out.
"What do you guys want? Why are you following us?" asked Aditya. "We don't want to harm you. We just need that girl. We have an order to kill her", replied a man and Aditya got angry. "Before that, you will have to fight me", said Aditya.
Aditya started fighting with the goons. Their fight went on for long. But Zoya selaw that a goon was about to stab him with a knife so she immediately came out of the car and shouted Aditya's name. "Aditya!" she shouted.
Aditya turned back and looked that a man was about to stab him. He immediately grabbed the hand of the man and Zoya sighed in relief. But she suddenly felt pain when someone grabbed her hair. She shouted in pain. Aditya looked at her and saw that a man had grabbed Zoya from her hair and was pointing a gun at her head.
"Didn't we tell you that we need to kill this girl? Now she will die", said the goon. "Listen, I am ready to do whatever you say, but please leave her", said Aditya. The goon replied, "We have orders to kill her."
The goon threw Zoya in the middle of the road and another goon started his car to drive it on her. Zoya had closed her eyes and was ready to accept her death but she felt a push and she fell on the corner of the road. As she opened her eyes and saw the road, Aditya was lying on the road in the pool of his blood. She widened her eyes in shock and immediately went to him and patted his cheeks.
"Don't close your eyes Aditya. We are going to the hospital. Please don't close your eyes", said Zoya while continuously patting his cheeks. She heard the goons talking to each other.
"If Madam comes to know that we killed him then she won't spare us. It is better to leave from here", said a goon and they all left from there.
Aditya's head was on Zoya's lap and he was holding her hand tightly. She tried to look for help. After sometime, she saw a car and asked for lift. The man was kind enough to give them a lift to the hospital.
-Flashback ends-
Zoya told Sahir about the hospital. Sahir himself was in tears after listening about his best friend. But now it was important to console Zoya as he knows that what place Aditya held in Zoya's life. Zoya was still crying.
"I still don't know why he took this promise from me", said Zoya.
Sahir wiped his tears and went to Zoya. "I cannot rewind everything that has happened. But you also know that Aditya cared for you a lot. And now he won't feel nice seeing you in this condition. You go and take rest. We will talk about everything tomorrow. Zoya, you sleep with Ammi since you cannot sleep alone", said Sahir and Zoya slowly nodded. Alvira took Zoya to her room.
Zaki and Sahir will still standing there.
"Bhaijaan, Zoya is totally broken", said Zaki. "I know Zaki. She is the most sensitive person I know. She even has the guilt that Aditya lost his life while trying to save her", replied Sahir.
"Now what Bhaijaan?" asked Zaki. "Nothing, let's give her some time. Then we will try our best to bring back the original Zoya", replied Sahir. "It is not easy. She just lost her husband", said Zaki. "Zaki, trust me. Within a few days, our Zoya will be back. We will talk about it tomorrow. Now, you go and sleep", said Sahir.
Sahir and Zaki also went to their rooms. But Zoya and Sahir were not able to sleep the entire night. Zoya was silently shedding tears for her loss while Sahir was still thinking about how to fix the broken Zoya.
So this was the first part of this story. I know many of you might be angry that I killed our dear Aditya Hooda in this story.
