Before I say Goodbye

There is a daylight shining though the curtains
Of the house that is forgotten,
The daughter who is unloved.
To the wife that who is left alone,
By the husband gone to war.
Daily chores, and simple supper,
Praying to lord for a miracle to appear.
While the husband is fighting in the no mans land.
The wife locked herself in her own no mans land.(bedroom)
The reason why wife grew cold,
as her husband didn't listen to her to stay at home.
The fridge is clear no food at home.
The daughter growing weaker playing with her dolls.
She knew the pain her mother is in.
But Her heart-ached longing for her mother's warmth,
Both hoped that suffering will end.
When the husband will return safe.
Non got what they wanted.
But only came the postal letter containing;
Love and warmth in words from beyond the grave.
First time ever they let it out
All the emotions, sad and grief kept locked away.
The mother cried embraced her daughter
And the daughter first time ever felt connected.
She laid her teary eyes to the frail daughter
Realising what she had forgotten
Love never left her
It was here all along
