Maes 2, Lizzie's four
Anne POV
I feel someone poking me. "Mama, Mama, Mama, Maaaammaaaaaa." Lizzie whines still poking me, I roll over and stretch before looking at her.
"What's wrong Lizzie?" I ask tiredly and she climbs on top of me laying down on my chest.
"I'm hungry," she says and I rub her back.
"Is Mommy up yet?" I ask and she nods,
"She's cuddling with Mae Mae." She says and I smile, I sit up still holding Lizzie and walk into Maes room to see Cathy, asleep, in Maes crib with Mae trying to climb out of her crib.
"Mae! You don't climb out of your crib!" I exclaim and set Lizzie down. Mae whines and holds her arms up. I pick her up and she smiles and starts to play with my hair. "Cathy," I say and she doesn't move. "Whatever, alright kiddos let's get you some breakfast!" I whisper shout and Lizzie runs out of my room, "careful going down the stairs Lizzie!" I exclaim,
"Okie Mama!" She says and starts walking down the stairs carefully.
30 minutes later
"Mae! Don't grab that!" I exclaim putting the scissors on a shelf that she couldn't reach, she whines.
"Mama!" She exclaims and I giggle,
"What Mae Mae?" I ask and she sits on the ground pouting,
"Poppysickyole!" Mae exclaims and I shake my head,
"You're not having a popsicle it's only 8 in the morning!" I exclaim and she pouts,
"Pwease." She says and I shake my head, she whines and I pick her up.
"How about we go wake Mommy up?" I ask and Mae nods.
I open Maes door and set Mae down, she waddles over to Cathy. "Mommy," she whispers and looks at me. "Sweepy," she says and points to Cathy.
"Yeah." I say and I whistle loudly making Cathy pop up and Mae jump. Lizzie walks upstairs and looks at us,
"What's wrong?" Lizzie asks and I smile as Cathy glares at me.
"I hate you," Cathy says and I laugh and Cathy gets out of the crib.
"You're such a baby," I say and Cathy shakes her head.
"No! I just happen to hear a toddler crying in the middle of the night and was too tired to get out of her crib." Cathy says and hugs me,
"Sureeee." I say and she nuzzles her head into my chest,
"Mommy!" Mae says and holds her arms up,
"Mae Mae!" Cathy exclaims and picks her up,
"I go to Janey?" Mae says and I laugh,
"Maybe pumpkin." I say and Lizzie smiles,
"We get to see Janey!" Lizzie says excitedly, I laugh and pull out my phone and call Jane.
"Hello. Natalie May Seymour don't you even think about running out that door!" Jane exclaims and I laugh,
"Hi. Busy morning?" I ask and Jane sighs,
"Yeah. Anna went to the store and little Natalie over here keeps trying to leave so she can go see her." Jane says and I laugh,
"Mae wants to see you," I say and Jane laughs.
"Well you guys can come over. I need someone to occupy Nat and Edward while I cook." Nat says and I nod,
"Okay. We'll be there around noon." I say and Nat nods,
"Edward don't throw your toys! Okay, we'll see you soon." Jane says and I nod,
"Kk. Bye!" I say,
"Bye." She says and I hang up, I smile as Cathy dances with Lizzie and Mae.
"So we are gonna head over there soon." I say and Cathy nods rubbing her eyes, she yawns and I giggle. I kiss her and she kisses back and she pulls away.
"Mommy! I get poppysickyole!" Mae exclaim and Cathy looks at me,
"Mae Mae. You're not having a popsicle," Cathy says and Mae nods.
"Yeah!"
"No,"
"Yeah."
"No"
"Pwease?"
"Still no,"
"Yeah!"
"No"
"Yeaaahhh!"
"Nu-uh"
"Yeah!"
"Oh my gosh just give the baby the popsicle!" I exclaim and Mae smiles,
"Poppysickyole!" Mae exclaims and I nod,
"Yeah," I say and Mae smiles as I pick her up.
A few moments later
"Cold!" Mae exclaims and makes a weird face,
"Oh you got a brain freeze buba." I say and Mae whines,
"Cold!" Mae repeats and I giggle as she takes another bite.
"What do you say?" I ask and she smiles,
"Tank woo Mama." She says and I nod as she walks around the kitchen smiling and eating her popsicle.
