His eyes travelled around the room and he stopped his laughing when they landed on me.
"Oh Y/n! You're here." i walked over to him avoiding the stares of every other figure in the room.
"You didn't tell me you were popular here." i muttered to him and he grabbed my hand and there was a few gasps from our audience. Some of the girls started to look at me in annoyance until he spoke up again.
"Everyone, this is my little sister, so be good to her."
Some relief noises were now heard but i wasn't even bothered about them. I was more annoyed at the fact he called me little. I was only 1 year younger. With a bit of force i pulled my hand out of his grip and he sighed.
"Come with me." He muttered.
He sat with me at the back on a separate table from his friends. Everyones eyes had slowly focused elsewhere now.
"How are you finding the school?" He asked me and I didn't get why he was being so formal with me.
"Well, it is very well designed."
His warm smile came to his cheeks again and he nodded.
"Yeah this place is great."
"You were also not late this morning, thats a surprise."
I scoffed.
"Says you. You used to be late to college all the time."
He shrugged.
"Oh really? When was that."
I sighed, I will let him have his fun for once.
The teacher still wasn't here yet so everyone could still talk for longer.
"Who knows as well, you could be quite popular with the lads if you have my genetics."
I shoved his shoulder playfully.
"Let me correct you, I have our mother and father's genetics, and two, thats never going to happen."
He shrugged and he started to get up.
"Wait Mingi where are you going, are you leaving me already."
"Sorry y/n, my guys need me."
And then that was when I saw him.
That guy from earlier.
I didn't even get his name. But he was sitting with my brother and I didn't like it one bit.
My eyes followed a man who was in his late thirties maybe. He was carrying a black brief case and he bashed it down on the desk getting all our attention.
"Hello everyone, welcome back to your second day of college, for those that are new this year."
Nervously I looked around and saw that all the friend clicks had already been made, I was going to have to try a little harder to make friends.
The teachers head slowly moved to each face finally stopping at mine.
"Ah, are you the one who had the appointment yesterday?"
Soon everybody else's eyes focused on me and It was a little nerve-racking.
"Yeah.. that's me."
His long bony hand stretched out suggesting me to come forward so I placed down my bag leaving it by my seat and went towards the teacher. My legs were actually like jelly but I made sure not to show everyone else I was nervous.
"As we are only a small music department, introduce yourself." He stated to me and I slowly turned around facing the rest of the class.
There were about 24 people in the room and that included the second years.
He was right about this being a small class there was hardly anyone.
My eyes passed that guy again, and he was already looking directly at me so it made me quickly look away from him.
"Hi everyone, I am Y/n, nice to meet you all." I did an 90 degree bow and gave one of the best smiles I could give.
When i re opened my eyes i saw a few smiles and i actually felt a little better on being here.
"You are Mingi's sister right?" The teacher asked me and i nodded. When my eyes connected with the brace guy again he seemed a little shocked. I guess because Mingi was his friend. Maybe that will make him nicer to me.
"Is that it?" The teacher asked me and I was a little taken off guard.
"Wait- you want me to say more?"
Already his mocking laugh was annoying me and I looked back at him.
"Well... don't you have any hobbies.. or favourite films."
"Why would they be bothered about any of that." I came back with quite quickly.
For a moment I forgot the rest of the class was watching me.
"Fine then. Don't say anymore."
I moved quickly back around the desks and I sat annoyed in my chair.
It wasn't like I meant to get on the teachers bad side, bit I didn't want to embarrass myself by going through all my preferences in things.
First things he made us do was just write down some simple phrases we should revise in music.
Most of these I had already learnt in high school so I guess it was just a small recap.
I wanted to get on to the actual singing part. That was my strong point.
"That's it for this morning class, we can continue tomorrow."
Immediately after he said that, an intense bell rang out hurting my ears just a little.
Why couldn't the bell be softer like in my old high school.
I chucked my notebooks back into my bag and made sure I picked up all my pens.
As I turned I noticed Mingi had already left me, which I didn't blame him. I guess he didn't want me to be a burden to him.
The teacher moved quickly out the door in a hurry carrying his mug. I sniggered.
Maybe he just ran out of coffee.
Picking up my bag, I also headed for the door when suddenly an arm blocked the way.
Curiously, my eyes looked up to my right and I annoyingly scoffed.
"Are you here to apologise now?" I asked him and his eyes just stayed piercing into me.
"No I came here to get some things straight."
My eyes looked down and I heard him laugh.
"Wow I didn't think it was physically possible for anyone to be that much smaller than me."
I looked up still annoyed.
"It you're here to just mock me you can go away."
His sarcastic smile showed but when i saw the braces again I didn't know what to think.
"No, no you're right I should continue what I wanted to say."
"Are you positive you are Mingi's sister."
A little confused I stood leaning on one foot.
"What?" My voice sounded small compared to his.
"Because how can someone as ugly as you be related to that guy"
Was this guy being serious right now?
"So you're mocking my height and my face now?"
His eyes explored my face and he chuckled.
"I'm an honest guy, sorry."
"Sound's like a you problem to me." I muttered under my breath ignoring him and heading for the door again.
Suddenly his hand wrapped around my wrist tightly and harshly pushed me so I fell against the desk.
I was pressed in between his body and his eyes were burning with fire.
"What was that?" He asked in an angry tone.
I stayed quiet but looked up into his eyes still.
"You don't know sh*t about me, so you can shut your tiny mouth."
"Oh I'm sorry. I think the braces made you look too cute to take seriously."
He slammed his hand down on the table grabbing my jacket tightly. I could feel his sharp breath tickling my skin.
"No one calls me cute, okay sweetie?"
"I'm sorry," I started off,
"But I'm an honest guy, and you're adorable."
