(Y/N) was currently at the police station giving her account of the events that had taken place that evening. She confirmed with the authorities that those villains had in fact been the same duo that attacked her near the Endeavor Agency a month ago. She had learned that they were some of Hero Killer Stain's followers who had continued targeting pro heroes after his arrest.

Despite barely escaping death that day, she couldn't help but think of the stranger whose blue flames had saved her. Without their assistance, she wouldn't be here right now telling them all of this. Although it hadn't been the most pleasant of encounters, she hoped that they would cross paths once again if only to just thank them.

A few weeks later as (Y/N) was working on honing her abilities in the training area, Hawks entered with a magazine in his hand.

"Hey, working hard I see," he said, walking over to her.

"Yeah, almost beat my record again," she answered, stepping down from the obstacle course.

"Look what I've got," he smiled, handing it to her.

"This is next month's issue of Pro Hero magazine," she said, taking it from him.

"Yup, got a copy of it in advance, isn't supposed to be out for another week," he replied, looking to see how she'd react.

"Nice, though I am still embarrassed about being on it," she told him as her cheeks began to slightly turn red.

She had to admit they did look amazing. Kiyomi Nishimura really knew how to make a simple girl like her look like a queen even though she still kind of felt like a peasant next to this king of a pro hero.

"I don't think you've got anything to be embarrassed about. Like I've said before, you're a beautiful girl," he responded, leaning against the wall.

There he goes again with the compliments. Why do I always gotta blush all crazy like this?

Once more, she froze not knowing how to react as her face was growing hotter by the minute.

"Hm? What's wrong?" he questioned, seeing how flustered she now was.

Not wanting him to think that those compliments bothered her that way, she came up with something quickly on the spot.

"Oh, I was just wondering what your real name was. I know heroes usually call each other by their aliases but I was just curious is all," she said, pointing to the cover where their hero names were printed.

Yeah, let's go with that.

"Takami. Keigo Takami," he replied, not taking his gold-brown-colored eyes off of her.

"Oh I see, so it's Takami," she told him, looking his way.

"Just Keigo will do," he insisted, sweeping a hand through his messy ash blonde hair.

"All right then," she responded, flipping through the rest of the magazine.

So that's his name huh? Pretty cute.

"And you? I just know you're a Todoroki," he continued.

"Oh right, sorry. It's (Y/N)," she answered, placing her attention back onto the man in front of her.

"(Y/N). I like it," he told her with that same grin he always wore.

As the next few months rolled by, (Y/N) continued to improve in her training with Hawks. During that time, he had moved up from the number three pro hero to the number two after the Japanese Hero Billboard Chart occurred. With the fall of the Symbol of Peace, it was now up to the rest of the heroes to step up and she wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon.

And with new rankings came celebration as (Y/N) and Hawks were now seated in a private room at a restaurant commemorating the winged hero on his success. She sat across the table from him, grabbing one of the yakitori off her plate, taking a bite out of the juicy chicken.

"You don't think that maybe you should have invited the other sidekicks?" she asked the red-feathered hero.

"Nah, I would say the more the merrier but all I wanna do today is kick back and relax," he told her, placing his hands behind his head as he leaned back. "Fewer people mean less noise and more peace and quiet anyway."

Hawks had already cleaned his plate of yakitori and was waiting on another order of the grilled chicken skewers.

"Hey (Y/N), do you mind?" he asked her holding out his drink.

"So I've gone from sidekick to personal ice maker now?" she joked.

"Well no but I sure would appreciate it," he responded, his hand under his chin.

"Fine but only cause we're celebrating today," she told him as she used her quirk to place some small cubes of ice into the glass.

"Great. Thanks, Frosty," he replied, taking a sip of his now cold beverage.

"Frosty? I gave you my name for a reason Keigo. And this is the thanks I get for cooling your drink?" she pointed out to him.

"My bad, my bad. I'll try not to do it again... Frosty," he said that last part a bit more quietly with a smirk.

He's just trying to get a reaction out of me!

"You know-" she started before he spoke up.

"Hold on," he said, putting his hand up to quiet her.

"Huh?" she questioned as her turquoise-colored eyes followed to where he was looking outside the window.

What's going on?

"Get down!" he yelled, sliding over the table to shield her from the broken glass.

A strange creature had flown into the window breaking the glass in the process. Before it could get any farther into the room though, Hawks used his quirk to send some of his feathers into it, causing it to back away.

"No way, don't tell me that's a-" she said as it withdrew from the window.

"Nomu. And it doesn't look like it's the only one here," he told her as he looked out the window.

So much for peace and quiet.

"Frostbite start evacuating the building. Let me handle this one and the one down there," he ordered her before flying down to the scene below.

"Right!" she responded, ready to take action.

(Y/N) went to each floor directing the civilians to safety as quickly and calmly as possible. As she was doing one last check though, a loud crash could be heard at the top of the building.

Okay (Y/N), keep calm. Don't let all your training go to waste.

As soon as she finished climbing the stairs to the roof, she opened the door to find a terrified couple cornered by a third Nomu. She shot a huge blast of ice at it, hoping to distract it long enough for the pair to escape.

"Go! Get out of here!" she yelled at them.

Fearing for their lives, they both took off down the steps of the roof, leaving (Y/N) to face off against the creature on her own. She continued to shoot more ice blasts, encasing it in ice when the Nomu then started to roar. This created a powerful shock wave that broke through the ice. To her surprise, the floor beneath her feet gave way and she was sent falling to the floor below. Fortunately, the table she landed on had broken her fall. Regaining her composure, she saw that the creature had fallen along with her and was now heading her way.

The room they were now in looked to be a large dining space with only some tables and chairs keeping the Nomu from her. She watched as the nails at the end of its fingers began to enlarge until they fully extended into massive claws.

Dammit, so this is their second quirk!

The creature then charged towards her at full speed, breaking apart tables as it came her way. Since she knew now that freezing it wasn't an option, she began making ice spears, launching them into its body. Meanwhile, she was jumping and running across the tables trying her best to evade its claw attack.

Think. Think. Think. I need to take it down fast before it causes any more damage!

As the number of tables she had to run on started to decrease, she noticed that she hadn't been able to get a hit on its head. Believing that a direct hit to the brain would be the only way to stop it, she formed an even longer ice spear, ready to take aim.

Since she needed to get closer to be able to land the hit, the Nomu took this chance to roar, sending another massive shock wave her way. This caused her to miss, only getting the side of its head as the force slammed her against one of the pillars behind her, letting the creature close the distance between them. Before he could slash her in two, she quickly ducked, rolling out of its reach.

That was way too close!

Though with the pillar slashed in two instead, the floor was now starting to sway. Realizing that another floor or more could collapse, she ran towards one of the windows, breaking the glass with an ice blast and grabbing hold of the sill for dear life.

A moment later she watched as the Nomu was sent falling down three stories below as the floors caved in. As the dust started to settle, she then created a waterfall of ice, allowing herself to glide down to the floor it was on. Hoping the fall had done a good amount of damage, she approached it cautiously as the creature began to stir, signaling that it wasn't out of commission yet.

Can't this thing just die already?

Her luck was finally turning around though, seeing that the floor they had landed on was for the most part empty with very few pieces of furniture. This would give her enough space to launch her attack. Preparing to throw another ice spear, she created a stream of ice beneath her feet using it to increase her speed.

This time, I don't intend to miss. If I do, I'll let them all down and it'll be a repeat of my failure all over again.

Before the Nomu could get the chance to use its roar or claws again, she charged forward full speed, striking the center of its head, sending the ice spear deep into the brain. With the creature finally put down, she leaned her back against some fallen debris, trying to catch her breath.

Gonna wake up with a lot of bruises tomorrow but thank goodness, it's finally over.

A few minutes later, Hawks appeared through one of the building's openings, having already finished off the other two Nomus.

"Need a lift?" he asked, extending his gloved hand out to her.

"Yes please," she responded, taking his hand as he lifted her into his arms.

"Were you scared?" he questioned her as he descended down to the concrete below.

"No way, I knew I could handle it," she replied, trying not to focus on how high up they were.

I'm lying. I was terrified the entire time.

"You sure about that?" he teased her.

"Okay maybe I was a bit scared," she laughed in response.

"I knew it," he said, laughing along with her.

"Hey, for my first 'official mission' you gotta admit I did pretty good," she told him, feeling more confident in herself.

"You sure did, I never doubted my sidekick for a second," he responded, finally making it to the ground.

A/N: I'm pretty happy with how this chapter turned out. I wanna do my best to keep improving as the story goes on. Also I do plan on writing fights where (Y/N) and Hawks team up in the future but I just wanted to give her a chance to shine first. And if you were wondering about the title then yes I based it off one of Fall Out Boy's songs called "Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea" lol. It kinda reminds me of Shoto, y'all should give it a listen.
