Isabel's pov
The next morning, I woke up , got dressed and ate breakfast. "Hey Is, you excited for today?" Cam said/asked. "Yeah. I missed Michael so much." I said. "Oooo, sounds like someone has a crush on Michael." Cam said. I blushed and then Nash came in. "Isabel likes who now?" Nash asked smirking. "Nash please don't tell anyone, but I think I like Michael." I said quietly. "Ooooo, I'm telling , him!" Nash yelled. He was walking out and I grabbed his arm. "Nash, don't! I swear I'll kill you." I said. "Okay okay, I won't , just let me go." He said. I let his arm go and Cam ran out. "Where ya going?" I asked. "We have to pick up Michael!" He said. "Oh shit! We're gonna be late." I mumbled. Nash and I ran downstairs and waited for Cam. When he got down, Cam was with two other boys, Hayes and... Shawn. I didn't say anything but the ride to the airport was pretty silent. When we arrived we hopped out and walked to gate 12 where Michael said he was. We were waiting there for Michael as all the people from his flight came off the plane. Then , the forth to last person came out, and it was Michael! "Michael!" I yelled running up to him. He picked me up and hugged me then twirled me 'round. He put me down and we hugged again. "Awe, Is, I can't tell you how much I've missed you." He said kissing my cheek. I saw Cam, Hayes, Shawn, and Nash tense up at the sight of him kissing me on the cheek. Cam and Shawn were the most tense. "Hey Mikey! Glad to see ya again bro!" Hayes yelled as they bro hugged. Then Cam and him bro hugged, and finally Nash. "Who's this." Michael asked referring to Shawn. "Oh umm, Michael this is my ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes." I said. "Nice to meet you, I'm Michael , Isabel's bestfriend." He said shaking hands with Shawn. "So, we going back to the hotel?" Michael asked , putting his arm around me. I blushed but I couldn't hide it, the boys already saw.
Michael's pov
I was so excited to see Isabel. I haven't seen her or Cam, or, Nash or Hayes since a few days before they left for tour. To be honest I'm glad she broke up with Shawn because , I like her. And after I heard about the break up, I knew that it was the perfect time to visit them. I mean , I could've drove up here, but I was in Myrtle Beach for my little sister's cheer competition. My little sister, Claire, cheers for As1. Claire and Isabel were really close because they were on the same team. They did everything together, almost everything. Every time Is would come over, she'd make sure to hang out with Claire before she left. And I was kinda jealous. But now I'm here visiting them on tour. Just me, no Claire. And I'm planning to ask her out, I just haven't told Cam or Nash yet. Now I'll finally have a chance with her. I've actually liked her since we were in the sixth grade. Shhh. Don't tell anyone.
Isabel's pov
I'm really nervous that Michael's here, and I'm also really excited. When he put his arm around my shoulder I got butterflies in my stomach. And I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing , but I couldn't. Cam and Nash gave me that look, like when you're friends see you and you crush together? Yanno that look? Never mind. Anyways, Michael and I walked out together with his arm around me. We sat in the back of the car and laughed, talked, and sang the whole time. And Hayes joined in singing because he knew that we would annoy Nash. When we got back to the hotel, we went to the other boys' room and they were all watching some lame ass movie. "Hey guys! This is Michael , my bestfriend. Michael, meet the guys; Carter, Taylor, Matt, Aaron, Jack J, Jack G, and Jacob. Oh and Mahogany." I said. "Hey guys." Michael said. "Hey man. So where do ya live?" Carter said/asked. "Oh, I live about thirty minutes to an hour from here. Is, Cam, Nash, Hayes, and I all live in the same neighborhood." He said wrapping his arms around my waist. I blushed and all the guys noticed and soon the room was filled with "oooo's" and "awe's". I turned my head to look up at Michael and I noticed he blushed too. Then in the distance, I saw that Shawn tensed up, Cam did too. I slipped out of Michael's grip and pulled Cam into the other room. "Everything okay?" He asked. "No." I said. "Cam, I'm freaking out. What if Michael likes me? Would he ask me out?" "I don't know, and hey, maybe he does." Cam said. "Yeah but if I ask, he'll never tell me." I said pacing back and forth. "Well, you could kiss him and see if he kisses back." Cam said. "Cameron! I'm being serious." I said. "Hey, can you ask him if he likes me?" I asked. "Sure." He said. Then Nash, Hayes, Michael, and Shawn walked in. "I need to go, talk to Mahogany for a minute." I said. Then I went to the other room to talk with Mahogany.
Cam's pov
"Yo Michael. Can we talk bro?" I asked. "Yeah sure." He said walking over to me. "How ya been man?" He asked. "Good good. A... Listen I have to ask you something. Do you like Isabel?" I asked/said. "Yeah." He whispered blushing. "Oooooo! MICHAEL LIKES ISABEL!" Hayes and Nash yelled. I laughed and Michael slapped them. "Dude! Isabel's next door with Mahogany! They can hear you!" He whisper/yelled.
Isabel's pov
While Mahogany and I were talking, we heard yelling coming from our room and decided to go back and find out what the yelling was about. "Hey guys." Mahogany said. "Hey, what was all the yelling about?" I asked glancing at Hayes and Nash. "Nothing, we were just yelling at Hayes for shutting the tv off." Michael butted in. "Oh, okay. 'Cause I thought I heard my name being yelled." I said, again glancing at Hayes. "What?" He asked putting his hands in the air. "Watch it Grier." I said pointing a finger at him. "And you too Nash." I said. "Okay, okay. Oh and Isabel, we didn't say anything." Cam said. "Okay, good." I replied. I noticed that Shawn kept staring at me. That's when I grabbed Michael's arm and said. "Hey, wanna go somewhere?" I asked. "Just the two of us?" He asked. "Yes Michael, just the two of us." I said giggling. So we went out and walked to the nearest park. "So how are things?" He asked. "Good, how about you?" I asked/said. "Good. Umm, I was just in Myrtle Beach for Claire's cheer competition." He said. "Oh yeah yeah! So how's Claire and the team?" I said/asked. "She's good, and the team's doing good too." He said. "Claire's in eighth grade, right?" I asked. "Actually, she's in ninth." He replied. "Oh, don't tell her I forgot what grade she's in." I said. "Don't worry I won't." He laughed. "Unless you can catch me!" He yelled getting up. "Hey! No fair! You cheated!" I said getting up, chasing him. I chased him all around the park till I couldn't find him anymore. I started to get scared because he also know about what happened a few years ago, and he also promised not to leave me alone anywhere. "M-Michael?" I stuttered. Then a pair of hands wrapped around my waist and I screamed. "Shhh, it's just me Is." Michael whispered in my ear, then I stopped screaming and turned around to face him. We were looking into each other's eyes for a few minutes and I decided to say something. "Michael, you left me. Why?" I said/asked. A tear slipping from my eye, I looked down. He lifted my chin up with his finger so that I was looking at him. Then he wiped me tears. "Hey, listen to me. I could never leave you, and I'm so sorry if I scared you." He said. "It's okay , now." I whispered. He leaned in and I leaned in. I started to feel butterflies as out noses touched. Then someone interrupted us... Shawn. "Guys, we're gonna eat lunch now." He said. "Okay, we'll be there soon." I said. Then he walked away. Michael stood up and held out his hand. "What?" I asked. "Aren't we gonna eat with them. Com'on , come back with me." He said/asked. "Okay, but only if-" he cut me off, "piggy back ride?" He asked. "Yes! I'd love to." I said hopping onto his back. He carried me back to the hotel and upstairs to the boys' room. "Well, looks like someone had fun." Taylor said smirking. I hopped off Michael's back and sat down next to Mahogany and Michael; Cam, Nash, Hayes, and Shawn across from us. It was pretty silent , which was unusual because either Taylor , Cam, Nash , Hayes , Carter , or Matt do or say something that'll make us laugh, but it was just dead silent. After we finished eating, Michael suggested that we go to the mall. "Okay, let me just change." I said, starting to walk away. Michael grabbed my arm and lightly pulled me towards him. "No don't, you look fine. And you don't need makeup either because you're already beautiful." He said. I blushed and he kissed me on my cheek and we hugged. He's so ... cuddly? I guess? We were waiting for everyone in the limo and slowly they all came in. I sat next to Cam and Michael, Shawn sat across from us. *skip car ride* When we got to the mall, we split up into two groups. Me, Michael, Mahogany, Jacob, Cam, Shawn, Nash, and Hayes were in one group and the rest of the boys, in the other. Michael, Mahogany, Jake, and I decided to go to Pacsun while Hayes, Nash, Cam, and Shawn went somewhere else. After we went to Pacsun Mahogany and Jake went to Forever21 and Michael and I went to Aeropostale. After buying a few things at Aero, Michael and I decided to go to Starbucks. I got a cotton candy frappe, of course, and Michael got a regular vanilla bean frappe. We sat down and drank, ate, and talk. I missed him so much. I remember those days, when we would all hang out after school. I miss those days. Even though I'm now 'famous' , something's just aren't the same. After Starbucks, we walked around the mall 'spying' on people. "Michael. Do we really have to do this?" I asked. "Yeah, unless you'd rather go back to square one." He said smirking. "Oh, hell no!" I whisper/yelled trying to run away. But before I could take another step, Michael wrapped his arms around my waist. I screamed for a few seconds until he put his hand over my mouth. "Let go." I said playfully. He let go and leaned in. I leaned in too and as our noses touched I felt those butterflies in my stomach again. Was I finally gonna kiss Michael?! As our noses brushed he leaned in more and our lips locked. It felt so good. But it also felt wrong. I don't why. I mean, I do like Michael, but... Ugh , it's complicated. We kissed for about a few more minutes until he pulled away. "Isabel Rose Dallas, I've been waiting forever to do that. Isabel, I've liked you since the sixth grade, and now I finally have the guts to ask, will you be my girlfriend?" He said/asked. "Yes, Michael!" I said, crying happy tears. He lifted me up and twirled me around then put me down and hugged me. Before we started to walk, someone tapped my shoulder... Shawn. "Oh, hey Shawn." I said. "We're leaving now, just so yanno." He said, then he walked away. He looked hurt and surprised. Did he see me kiss Michael? Oh no.
Shawn's pov
"Shawn, go look for Isabel and Michael that way, we'll look the other way." Nash said. I nodded and started walking right. As I walking I heard a scream that sounded like Isabel's. I followed in the direction of the scream and was about to tie the corner when I saw Isabel and Michael. Michael leaned in and so did Isabel. Were they gonna kiss?! No, no, no! This can't be happening. I watched them for a while and saw them kiss for about a few minutes. My heart broke, but there was more. After they kissed Michael said/asked, "Isabel Rose Dallas, I've been waiting forever to do that. Isabel, I've liked you since the sixth grade, and now I finally have the guts to ask, will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes, Michael!" She said jumping into his arms. He lifted her up and twirled her around then put her down and hugged her. Before they started to walk away I tapped Isabel on the shoulder. She turned around, "Oh, hey Shawn." She said. "We're leaving now, just so yanno." I said, then I walked away to look for the boys. When I got to the car no one was there. I pulled out my phone and called Matt.
*conversation*
Matt: yo, Shawn!
Me: hey Matt, tell everyone to come back, I found Isabel and Michael . They'll be her soon. And I need to talk to you when we get back to the hotel.
Matt: ok, be there soon dude
*end of conversation*
A seconds later Matt and the boys came running into the limo. "Hey, where's Isabel and Michael?" Cam asked. "They'll be here soon." I said. "You okay man, you look like your dog died." Nash said. "Yeah, I'm fine." I replied, then I hopped into the car. And a few minutes later Isabel and Michael came and we drove back to the hotel. When we got back we went up to our rooms and I asked Matt if I could talk to him now. "Yeah bro, let's go in the other room." He said. So we walked out and into the other room, I closed the door and locked it. "What's up man?" Matt asked. "Matt," I said, "Michael asked Isabel to be his girlfriend, and... and , she said yes." I replied sitting down on the bed. "Awe, man. I'm sorry." He said. I started to break down and Matt sat down next to me and bro hugged me. "Dude, it's gonna be okay. She'll come back to you, don't worry man." He said, the he stood up and went back next door. Then I person I least expected to be her came out of the bathroom...Mahogany. I looked up at her and she looked at me with sad eyes. "Hey, I'm sorry about Isabel. But Matt's right, she will come back to you." She said sitting down next to me. "Mo? Can you stay here with me, at least until dinner." I asked. "Sure, we'll just watch a movie, but mind if Jake comes because I don't want him to think that I like you, that way." She said. "Sure." I replied. Then a few minutes later Jake came in and sat down. We watched about two movies before we ate dinner.
Isabel's pov
What have I done? What is life? I don't even know what to do anymore. Mahogany just came in and told me that Shawn saw everything that happened at the mall and he's heart broken. And he literally broke down after we got back from the mall earlier today. AND he's not eating. What am I going to do?! What am I SUPPOSED to do?! I don't even know anymore. I've actually been sad for quite sometime when there's really no reason to be. Is there something wrong with me?! Am I depressed?! I need Cam and Nash. I texted them to come into the room and a few minutes later Cam sat down next to me. "What's up?" He asked. I didn't say anything though, I just broke down in his arms. "Is, what's wrong?" Nash asked. "Everything! Shawn's heart broken because I'm dating Michael, Michael's going back home in a few days, and there's something really personal I wanted to talk to you about." I said/yelled. "What is it Is?" Cam asked. "Well, I've been really sad all of a sudden and I don't know where it's coming from cause I've got nothing to sad about, other than Shawn being heart broken over me and not eating." I said. Cam and Nash looked at each other, then at me, and back. "Cameron. I'm scared. Am I depressed?" I said/asked, looking at him. "Isabel. I don't know. But Nash and I will do everything and anything to help you." He said hugging me. "Thanks Cam. I love you." I whispered. "I love you too Is." He said wiping a tear off my face. I got up and got changed into my pjs and went to bed next to Cam. Michael actually went left for Myrtle Beach a few minutes ago because he said that his parents wanted him there, so now everything's like they were. And Michael and I have a long distance relationship. Our next stop is Pennsylvania, then Delaware, Maryland, and New York will be our last for this year. We leave for PA tomorrow. And I'm still really scared that I might have depression and I still have no idea what to do about the whole Shawn/Michael problem. I might break up with him...
