Kongpob's POV (2017)
There were continuous knocks on the door which woke me up. I checked the clock, it was still 4am. When I opened the door, I did not expect to see a very grim-looking Arthit.
"Arthit? What are you doing here? Is everything okay?"
I had no idea what Arthit was up to. Suddenly he grabbed me by the neck and took his lips to mine. We were kissing.
I felt Arthit clinging to me even more as he shifted and rested his hands around my neck. I was moaning uncontrollably.
Arthit had turned my mind foggy and it took me a while to realise were were still standing in the corridor.
So, I pulled him inside the room, shut the door, and pinned him on the wall with his hands over his head."I don't know whether this is a dream or not, but either way I don't want it to end."
"May be its all just a dream"
I attacked Arthit's lips again and draped my arms around him. I could feel Arthit's hands running inside my tshirt and I couldn't stop moaning.
He was grinding against me and I could feel his hardness against mine, which forced me to get out of my trance. Because if I did't stop here, I don't think I would be able to stop at all.
When we broke the kiss, we were both panting and breathing heavily.
In the dim light of the room, I finally noticed Arthit's swollen lips and his just as swollen eyes. He was also sweating profusely, which couldn't be all because of our sudden kiss.
"Why are you sweating so much?" I rubbed my thumb over the beads of sweat on his forehead.
Arthit was still looking straight into my eyes and holding me tightly, as if I'd leave if he let me go.
"I ran here"
"You ran here all the way from your apartment? Arthit, its 4 o'clock in the morning. Is everything okay?"
"Everything seems okay, now. I just — I wanted to see you.
I have seen you now, so I guess I'll leave."
I trapped Arthit in my embrace and pinned him to the wall again. I kissed him on the lips. A light peck just to remind him how much he means to me.
Putting my arms around Arthit's waist, I finally spoke up. "I don't know what or who is troubling you so much that made you cry and run in the middle of the night, but I am happy you came to me. I wont ask you anything and you don't have to tell me anything until you are ready to talk about it.
I want you to know that I can be your safe place and you can come to me anytime, Arthit"
Arthit looked down. He was trying to hide his tears, but he couldn't really hide it so well. "I'll leave now, Kong"
I wiped Arthit's tears. "You are not going anywhere. Stay here with me. You can go back to your apartment in the morning."
"But Kong..."
"I'll take out some clothes you can wear to bed. You have been wearing these same clothes all day"
Arthit didn't put up any more objections. He changed and slept next to me. He went into a deep slumber as soon as he hit the bed. He must have been very tired — He did have an incredibly long day today.
But I couldn't stop thinking about who Arthit met today. He said it was someone as important as me. If they were that important, why did they disappoint Arthit and leave him crying?
This is not how I thought I would spend my first night with Arthit, but I was just happy he trusted me enough to come to me in such a state. I stared at Arthit for a long time, brushed his hair off his face, and soon went to sleep.
My alarm woke me up sharp at 7am. When I looked to my side, Arthit was already gone. May be he was in a hurry to attend his classes?
Kongpob[7:12am] Did you leave for college already?
Kongpob[7:17am]: We could have had breakfast together
I got ready for the first day college, took my keys, and was about to leave the room when I saw another dorm key on the floor. I already have my keys, did Arthit leave his keys by mistake?
Kongpob[8:42am]: Why did you leave the dorm key I gave you? :(
Going to college was an amazing experience. I met so many new people there. After the initial classes, it was finally time for the SOTUS session and I was so excited to finally meet Arthit. He hadn't replied to my messages all day.
Though, Arthit was right, the hall looked too big the last time because it was just the two of us there. But with all the other students there, the hall was completely packed. I could see some of the third years on the stage, but I couldn't see Arthit anywhere.
Suddenly, double doors opened and Arthit walked in with the hazers wearing a maroon jacket. He was at the centre of the crowd and he was giving a menacing gaze towards the juniors. He just felt..so different from the Arthit I knew who was always smiling. Was it just his persona in college?
"Hello, first-year students. My name is Arthit. I am a third year and your senior in this Faculty of Engineering. As the head hazer, my responsibility is to look after you for the entire year and make sure that you become disciplined and strictly abide by the rules. I expect to receive full cooperation from all of you"
Wait what? Arthit is the head hazer?
The 'very rude' head hazer everyone was talking about? he Arthit I know could never be rude.
Arthit was going on and on about the gear in his hand. But I couldn't really hear anything because I was trying to wrap my head around the fact that he was indeed the head hazer.
Why didn't he tell me about this before?
"You must attend every initiation activity. Make sure that you won't be late. Most importantly, you must respect your seniors.
And lastly, you must strictly follow our rules and commands. Do you understand?"
"Yes!" yelled everyone.
"If that's so, I'll let you get to know us, your seniors, by collecting 1,000 signatures from us. I want you to collect all these signatures within one week"
Wait, what did Arthit just say.. a 1000 signatures in a week? Did he attend SOTUS meetings for weeks and cancelled dates with me to create these unrealistic plans?
I decided to speak up just to tease Arthit. He always smiles when he meets me. He probably just didn't notice me in the crowd. I am sure he will smile once he notices me in the crowd.
I raised my hand up. "Hi! 0062 Permission to speak?
I think one week will not be enough to accomplish your task. We should at least be given a month."
I smiled and winked at Arthit. But his expressions didn't change.
"You don't have the right to ask me that" said Arthit in a very stern and angry voice. "My order is final. Do you understand?"
I had never seen Arthit this serious and angry and I didn't know what to think of it.I was too shocked to give an answer.
"I asked do you understand?"
"Yes"
I sat down and tuned out the rest of the meeting. When it was all over, I tracked Arthit down as he was leaving the college.
"Arthit, wait.."
Arthit's POV
The first day of SOTUS was supposed to be great. I was supposed to teach the juniors about the importance of the SOTUS system, but instead I ended up being incredibly angry at the man that I love.
I didn't want to be rude to Kong, I could never be rude to him, but I didn't know how to react in front of the juniors and the entire hazing team.
I have absolutely no idea how will this affect the future change now. Will Kong hate me? Would he eventually get tired of me and leave? May be he will finally realise he is too good to be with me.
If I met Kong directly as a head hazer in this SOTUS hall, and he was just my junior, would he ever even like me? I was just a rude, pathetic idiot.
Did I just change Kongpob's life path because I loved him too much?
I decided to push all the worries at the back of my head and call it a day. I was just leaving the college to go check up on mom when I heard someone call my name.
"Arthit, wait.."
It was Kong. Why was he still looking for me? I was so rude to him.
"Why did you leave in the morning without telling me Arthit?"
"Uh..." I looked down at the ground."I just.. I didn't want to wake you up. Thank you for letting me stay."
"And why didn't you tell me you were the head hazer?"
"I—Actually — It never came up. I didn't think it was important."
"Arthit." Kong put his hands on my shoulder. "Are you okay, Arthit?"
"What? Yea..Yeah..I am fine. I am okay"
"You don't seem okay. You came at my door in the middle of the night. You looked lost. And now here in college, you look like a totally different person. I have never, ever seen you talk so rudely. What is even going on?"
"So? Do you hate me already?"
"No Arthit. Why would I hate you? I like—"
RING RING
I pushed Kong back to check my phone. It was an unknown number. "I need to take this Kong. Lets just talk later."
I pressed the button and picked up the phone. Kong was still standing next to me, waiting for answers. He refused to budge.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"Hi, is that Arthit Rojnapat? We are calling you from the Nation Mechanics"
"Oh yes. Is the car fixed already?"
"No we are still working on it but I just called you to tell you we found a GPS tracker on the car"
"What does that mean? Aren't all the cars supposed to have GPS?"
"You see, we didn't find a GPS inside the car. There was a GPS tracker at the bottom of the car. It isn't a part of the car. Its usually bought separately and we just wanted to confirm if you had deliberately placed it to track your car."
"Uhhh. No. I don't think its mine. Can you keep that device with you? I will collect it when I come to pick up the car.
"Sure. We will. Good bye"
Who the hell put a tracking device in mom's car
----
A/N: Finally, the first chapter from the present Kongpob's POV! I was very excited about writing this.
A lot of you already guessed in the past chapters that Arthit's mom's car was the main target and you were right? Who do you think put the tracker there and why?
And how will things change between Arthit and Kongpob now that the college is finally starting and they will be interacting in SOTUS meetings everyday?
