I have been avoiding Andrew after everything, actually for three reasons.
1. I don't wanna look like some boyfriend snatcher and ruin someone's relationship.
2. I couldn't stand my feelings for him growing when nothing was ever gonna happen.
3. Charlotte having a crush on him.
Anyways during this couple of days, we haven't really talked. And I wanted it that way. But I still missed his reading help and stuff, but my friends always tried to cheer me up.
"Hey guys did I tell you about the competition??" Ella says
"Nope" I say
"Don't remember you saying that" Vera say
"Well it's happening" Ella says excitedly
"Good" I say turning back to my book
"Hey Bella why are you so not positive??" Vera asks
"Who said am not, I just said good" I say defending myself
"I got us signed up" Ella says excitedly
"What??" I shout
"Girl seriously??" Vera shouts
"Why are you guys acting shocked??" Ella asks looking confused
"Cause I didn't plan for this" Vera says
"Neither did I" I say
"Hey we need this" Ella says
"Why??" I ask
"Yeah why??" Vera asks
"Bella it helps you get over Andrew, and Vera it helps you to stop thinking about your secret boyfriend you haven't told us about yet" She says in a matter of fact way
"There was never anything between me and Andrew you know it" I say shrugging
"And I don't have any secret boyfriend" Vera says
"Yeah right" Ella says
"Like you are always staring outside thinking of him" I say
"Anyways the point is we are doing this" Ella says
"No can do, I have serious stage fright" Vera says
"Sorry but I can't" I says
"Do you guys know you are slowly breaking my heart" Ella says
"Ella am sorry but no" Vera says
"Yeah we can't do it" I say
"All I wanted was a thing for all of us, but you guys are telling me no" She says looking sad
She walks away, am sure going to cry. I feel guilty and awful, she just wanted us to have fun. She was just acting like a concerned friend and we blew it.
"Damn! We messed up" I say
"But it's not our fault" Vera says
"I know but we have to do this" I say
"Are you for reals Bella??" Vera asks
"Yeah even if we get embarrassed, we are getting embarrassed together" I say looking confident
"That doesn't help" Vera says
"Yeah I know just trying to get a nice speech" I say
"Okay so we are doing this?" Vera asks still unsure
"Yep for Ella and also your secret boyfriend stuff" I say
"For Ella and for your Andrew" Vera says
"No way for me its only Ella" I say
"Ok but you teased me" Vera says
"And you seriously have to introduce me to your secret boyfriend" I say
"I don't have one" Vera says
"But we just proved that you had one" I say
"Stop trying to get me to say what I don't wanna say, go to class" She says pushing me away
She pushes me towards the direction of my class, and I fall into the class. Thankfully, I didn't land face first. I grab a sit and begin to unpack my books when I hear the door open. Andrew walks in, his hair looking messy and his face looking tired. He looked cute
Damn!! I pray he doesn't come here
And it's like the heavens heard me for once cause he didn't come. I didn't know whether to be happy or disappointed. The class ends and am walking to my safe house, when someone hits me and all my books are on the floor.
"Damn!! Can you watch where you are going" I say picking up my books
"Ooo sorry, didn't mean to" The stranger says
As I look up, I meet a drop dead gorgeous face, he was sooo tall and masculine. He had brown eyes with black curly straight hair. Tanned skin, a flat nose and pink lips. Now I wish I could take those words back.
"Ooo no problem" I say
"I can help you pick them up" He says
"Ok if you want to" I say confused, just staring at him.
What am I doing, pay attention to what's on the floor
"Ok thanks" I say after I had gathered all my books
"Wait can I know your name??" He asks
"Why??" I ask back
"It's not everyday you bump into a damsel" He says smirking
I start blushing and without thinking, I just blurt out my name and he starts walking away. Wait what!!! I just said my name and I don't know his.
"Hey whats yours??" I shout
"Jackson" He says turning around
"Okay bye" I say
"Bye damsel" He says winking
Ever met a guy/girl like that?? Bumpy bumpy me and bam. Then you are swallowing your hurtful words down your throat.
