I walk into the compound in the best of moods. Then I hear Nik yelling.
"Where were you?" He yells.
"I went to a bar." I say didn't knowing I had to check in with anybody.
He vamp speeds in front of me fuming. "You can't run off like that." He yells in my face.
"Stop yelling at me!" I yell back. "I haven't had one moment since I got out of the hospital to calm down. I went to a bar and I got to do the one thing that de stresses me. And by the way your the one that told me I needed to stay away from your family!"
He doesn't say anything but I can tell he's still mad. "You should have still told us!" He yells.
"Niklaus!" Elijah and Rebekah yell in unison. Bella walks into the courtyard and sighs in relief when she sees me. Edward walks in and shakes his head reading my thoughts.
Elijah walks down and looks at me. I shake my head in disbelief at how they all reacted.
"Stay out of this Elijah." Nik says.
"How about you Klaus calm down!" I yell. Everyone looks at me when I said Klaus instead of Nik. "I was doing something you told me to do so don't get your panties in a not. I went out and had fun. I'm old enough to go out without having to ask someone."
Nik looks at me with a glare. I vamp speed to my bedroom and pack everything. Edward and Bella walk in.
"What are you doing?" Edward asks.
"I'm going to a hotel." I say looking up. "I can compel myself a room."
"Rose slow down. Just stay here. There's no point of getting a room. Your leaving Wednesday." Bella says.
"And Nik hates me." I turn and face her with tears in my eyes. "Nik hates me. Nik hates me and I don't know what to do with myself." I throw the dress I had in my hands down and collapse on the floor.
Edward looks at Bella who isn't doing anything. Edward sighs and crouches in front of me. He takes my hands and rubs a thumb over my knuckles.
"Klaus does not hate you Rose. He's just looking out for you. Why do you think I left Bella last year? I left her to protect her from my world." Edward says.
"But I'm just as much apart of yours and Nik's world then I am the human world. Yes I'm a hybrid but I'm a vampire more then anything. Nik needs to understand I am a big girl. Yes I've been in two wrecks but it's happened I'm ok. And neither of them were his fault." I look down at my phone when Caroline's name crosses it. "Care?" I smile at my other sister.
"Hey Rosie!" Caroline says when I answer.
"Hey Carebear. How is everything?"
"Oh my gosh Rose. It's awful down here."
"I'll come see you once Bella is married. It's been to long. What's Bonnie, Elena, and Stefan doing?" I ask.
"Bonnie is... complicated." Caroline says with stress in her voice. "Stefan and elena are fine."
"Oh. I hope you are all well."
"How's Forks?" Caroline asks changing the subject.
"I'm in New Orleans." I say sighing.
"Why?" She asks curiously.
"I'm singing in a concert with one of my friends." I say. I hear her gasp on the other side.
"Why didn't you say anything? We would have been there." Caroline says hurt.
"You can pay a visit to Forks. I'm doing a show in a town near it." I say. She sighs again.
"I wish little Flower. I've got to go take care of Stefan." Caroline says.
"Ok. Be safe. Bye." She says bye and I hang up. I sigh and close my eyes.
"Don't leave Rose, but I'll give you some time alone." Edward says. He squeezes my hand and leads Bella away. I sigh one more time before deciding to do a treat myself.
I walk into the bathroom and pull my makeup bag out. I grab one of the face mask. I hear footsteps coming near my bedroom. I use my Snow powers to make the door shut. I hear the person sigh.
"Rose." I hear Nik's voice say. "Please talk to me."
I don't say anything but turn the sink on and place a rag in the sink waiting for the hot water to heat it up.
I walk out of the bathroom and pas Nik without saying anything.
"So your ignoring me now?" Nik asks getting mad.
"Leave me alone Nik." I say grabbing my phone and laptop. I turn the sink off and take my fake eyelashes out.
"Why are you angry?" He asks. I turn and look at him like he's crazy.
"You were fussing at me a few minutes ago Nik. I was only getting a few minutes to myself." I say whipping the makeup off and starting to get the face mask out.
"You could had still told us where you were going. You have a thing for getting in a wreck."
I give him a death glare through the window. I I open my laptop to find an email from James.
Rose!
My manager spoke to my record label and showed them a video of you singing. The record label wants you! Rosie this is huge girl. Email me back and I can send you my managers email. He said he would love to work for you. Bye Bitch.
I shake my head at James. I email him back.
James.
I don't know about the record label thing. I'll think about it. I just have so much going on with my sister getting married. But I'll let you know. Bye.
I look back in the mirror to find Nik staring at me. I sigh thinking of how much he means to me and he just wants nothing to with me. I grab my phone and turn on music but not loud.
Nik sighs before vamp speeding away. I close my eyes when the tears form. I don't know if I'm in love with Nik or if it's just the fact that he's become one of my best friends.
I take my face mask off when the timer comes on and walk into the bedroom and grab my sleeping T-shirt and shorts. Once I have those on and my hair in a bun I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen for some chocolate milk.
Everyone is either in their rooms or not in the compound. I'm sitting on the counter drinking the milk while reading fan fictions. I look up when someone walks in. I find Nik walking in shirtless. He doesn't see me but walks straight to the blood room.
I look back down at the book I'm reading and not pay him any mind when he walks back in and sits on the barstool. I can feel his eyes on me. My phone rings from Alice.
"Hey." I whisper.
"Why are you whispering?" Emmett voice comes through with a whisper.
"I don't know. Why are you calling me through Auntie Alice's phone?" I ask smirking.
"Emmett!" Alice's voice yells.
"Gotta go!" He says then I hear static.
"Sorry Rosie." Alice says.
"It's all good." I say still whispering.
"Really why are you whispering?" She says in her normal voice.
"I don't know." I say. I place the cup I was drinking out of on the counter beside me and lean my head against the cabinet and close my eyes.
"Edward tell you what Carlisle found?" She asks.
"Yeah he told me." I say looking at my nails.
"Ok. Well we all found a little something. I was just gonna tell you we will show it to you when you get home. And Rosalie and Jasper said they miss you. Stay safe Rosie."
"I will. See ya Alice."
"See ya Rose." She hangs up. I hop off of the counter and put the cup in the sink. I turn around to find Nik staring at his hands. I fee tears forming in my eyes. I vamp speed to my room so he doesn't see.
I close the door and lean against it sobbing silently. I lock the door then walk out to the balcony. I look down to make sure no one is looking and then jump onto the roof.
I sit down on the roof and look at the stars. I block the world around me. I lay back against the roof and send small snowflakes in the air.
*T I M E S K I P*
I fell asleep on the roof. So when I woke up and climb back down to my balcony I made it inside in time to say goodbye to my sister and uncle.
"Bye. I'll be home soon." I say hugging Bella.
"Be careful ok? No more wrecks." She says jokingly.
"I'll try. Good luck on the heals." Bella looks at me with wide eyes. I laugh at her reaction and wave to Edward who I've already said goodbye to.
I turn around and head back into the compound and up to my bedroom to get dressed for the day. Today is the day of the concert. I'm so excited. Sofia told me that she had a surprise for me.
I walk into my bathroom and curl my hair. I do my makeup with a silver smokey eye and clear lipgloss. I grab the outfit I have had planned for tonight. I put on a pair of tennis shoes with my cutoffs and T-shirt.
I walk back out of my bedroom and run into Elijah and Nik. They are talking in fast whispers.
"I'm leaving." I say making my presence known. Elijah and Nik both look up at me and nod their heads.
"I'll take you." Marcel's voice says from behind me. I smile at him and nod.
"I really do hope you guys show up tonight." I say facing the Mikaelson brothers. I frown when Elijah looks at Nik. I nod my head then follow Marcel out to his car. "Thanks for the ride Marcel."
"Anytime Rose Bush." I look at him with a mock glare. He laughs at my face and then continues to the stadium. When we arrive I turn to Marcel.
"If you would like to come. I have an extra seat reserved." I hand him an extra ticket and then walk away with my outfit. I walk into the changing room they have for me. I then walk out to the stage to find Sofia singing.
When she spots me she smiles. "Hey!"
"Hey Sof!" We then start to go over the songs and I go over my songs with Sofia's band.
Once we are done we walk off of the stage when Sofia's manager says they are about to let people in. I walk to my changing room and freshen my makeup and let the hair stylist do my hair.
When she's done I get dressed. I put on a tan pen skirt with a purple sleeveless shirt. I put on a necklace the comes lays at the bottom of my cleavage. I pace the floor nervously and him the songs under my breath. I hear my phone go off. I look down to find Nik's name.
Good luck Flower. We are here and can't wait to hear you perform. See you soon love.❤️
I smile at the text but don't open it or respond back. There's a knock at the door then Sofia sticks her head in.
"It's almost time Ro." Sofia says smiling. I nod my head. I turn my phone off and place it in my purse then follow Sofia to the stage manager. They hand me a white bedazzled microphone. "I'm gonna go introduce you."
I nod my head and smile. I take a deep breath her band comes up behind me and smiles. Her drummer comes up and wraps an arm over my shoulder.
"It's all gonna be worth it Rose." He says smiling.
I nod my head still calming myself down.
"Ladies and gentlemen proud to introduce my very best friend Rose!" Sofia says into her microphone. I walk out with her band following and going into their places.
"How's everyone doing?" I ask people start screaming in excitement. I smile and nod to Derek. He smirks and then starts.

The crowds roars when the song is finished. I smile and then we continue. When I climb off of the stage bursting with adrenaline and Sofia takes my place. I hang on the side of the stage. Sofia sings three songs before she stops her band.
"How about we bring Rose back out here?"I look at her smiling when the crowd starts chanting my name. I walk out after grabbing a microphone and joining Sofia.
"So what are we singing Sofia?" I ask standing beside her.
She whispers a song in my ear which makes me smile and nod my head. We sing a duet together that has the crowd silent the entire song.

Sofia whips under her eyes like other people in the crowd. "Now this girl has an amazing voice. Everyone please give a round of an applause for some of our good friends. Seth, Luke, and Ben!"
I look at Sofia with wide eyes who nods her head smiling. I turn around just in time to see Luke coming up to me and hugging me tightly.
"Oh my gosh!" I say smiling.
"Let's get it on sis!" He says smiling. I hug Seth and smile at him.
"What's up Rose!" Ben says and hugging Sofia.
"Sorry Ben we are gonna sing one song without you." Sofia says. Ben nods his head knowingly then backs away. "Derek!"
