---(Y/n)'s Pov---
Sans was testing my patience without fail. His fangs remained inside of my skin for awhile, I think that I managed to hit our third hour before finally starting to feel light headed from blood loss. He seemed amazed at my struggling, always latching himself deeper into my skin with every attempt that I made for escape.
Once I started to feel weak, my fighting let up. Sans was trying to hold me still for awhile, but due to my struggles and his desire for a strong mark? I received many cuts and bruises along my body. During the first hour, my movements were so desperate that his mark tore into more than it was supposed to... and this was followed by his growling and incoherent words.
From the panic that my body was going through, I couldn't help but try to attack him. I didn't want to, but either way he didn't come out of this unscathed. Since I didn't personally harm him, it couldn't be exactly considered as my fault. I only struggled so much, that I managed to slam his spine into the wall that the bed was pressed against.
After the fourth hour, my mind was starting to shut down while Sans was finally letting up. He removed his fangs from me and let out a sigh of exhaustion. He couldn't remember the last time that someone had given him this much trouble- in fact, his spine was cracked from the impact on the wall along with a few of his ribs broken from by back smashing into his chest a few times.
However, he didn't seem to really care. His Soul was screaming in pride for the strength of his now marked mate.I was no pushover, and definitely made him impressed. Since he finally succeeded in his desire, the frequent whispers of his more primal nature ceased, giving him a few hours of freedom. Or maybe it was due to him being just as exhausted as I am?
Regardless, he let out a shaky breath that he didn't know he was holding, only to properly lay me down on his bed. My shoulder went completely numb from the blood that he drained from it, only to have a large amount of magic left in it's place. Some part of me now was apart of him, and I wasn't sure how that made me feel.
On the plus side, I had someone that would watch my back and never betray me due to how honest Monsters were to their Souls. On a more negative standpoint? I had some overly protective skeleton that would be following me around wherever I went. And with my current injuries, I doubt that he'd be pleasant. "Sleep."
I wanted to deny his demanding tone, I didn't feel like he was exactly justified in what he did. Some of this was of course my fault since I decided to stick around for so long. But to be perfectly honest, Sans was impressed with me when we first met. He wasn't sure in the beginning, but quickly learned to respect my abilities.
He didn't say it a loud due to his frustration, but I could tell that he was laughing at the state that I left Aliza in earlier... and that he was maybe even a bit impressed at how I handled evading him by staying in his room. He didn't expect it, and obviously would never forget it. "I want my clothes."
"No. I don't want you irritating my mark until it is completely sealed." I raised brow at that... he didn't want anything touching the mark except for himself... as if to test that theory, I raised my hand and moved it over to the bite- and then he growled loudly. "Don't fucking test me. I'll take off the rest of your clothes if ya do."
"You're acting like a child. I feel exposed." I mumbled out, but he only responded by laying down next to me. He flipped my body so that I was facing him, and then dragged me into his chest. One of my hands gripped onto his ribs out of instinct due to the closer proximity, causing him to let out a small purr of content. "I expected you to be hostile with me... after learning the truth."
He paused for a moment, the hum from his bones no longer easing my anxiety. "You've killed Humans on the surface. We've killed Humans here and ate them. I don't see the big deal."
Thinking about his words carefully, I finally decided to nod. With his teeth no longer in my shoulder, I could feel a painful throb that made me want to hiss in pain- and that damned cocky smirk on his face made me want to punch him. Hard. "You have higher LV than I do if it's any consolation."
"Let's take a look then." He stated with a small chuckle. Knowing that I defended my stats, I was about to protest until my Soul appeared in front of me. Sans selected his option to check, causing my eyes to widen in surprise. My Stats were not hidden from him... he could see them?! "Ya look pretty confused, cupcake. With my magic in you, I have a lot of control."
----------
(Y/n)
LV: 47
HP: 24/240
Attack: 25
Defense: 25
"She wants to put a shirt on."
-----------
"Huh. That really is a lot of LV that ya got there, cupcake." He mumbled. His hand moved forward so that he could brush his phalanges against my Soul... honestly, this was probably the first time that I have ever seen him this careful.
Not only that... but he handled Souls in such a unique way... that I was holding back a small moan. I almost forgot that skeleton Monsters had immense understanding when it came to Souls. "S-Stop."
His eye snapped up to me, suddenly dimming at what I just did. He couldn't believe it, and he'd never forgot it for the rest of his life. The first time that I EVER stuttered. Watching as his grin widened, he took my Soul in a firm grip and started to brush his thumb against the edge of it.
I bit my lip stubbornly to hold back the sounds that I would of made... and fortunately, Sans did decide to eventually stop. Instead of continuing his attack on my Soul, he instead decided to get lost in its lilac colors. "I've already marked you... but next I want to bind our Souls."
He grabbed my attention with such words, causing me to want to desperately pull away. Once a Monster physically planted their magic inside of their Mate, that gave them a lot of control. They could tell what their Mate was feeling, if they were injured... it even worked as a tracker. Not only that, but it caused the more primal instinct of a Monster to recognize the magic, therefore leaving them to see their opposite as their own. But to bind a Soul was to give yourself up for all of eternity. It binds you on a deeper level between Souls. A bite is more physical, but a Soul bond happens to be much more emotional. The last thing that I wanted was for us to be sharing feelings- that wouldn't end well for us.
In fact, Gaster has relayed tales of Soul Bonding to be so dangerous between more aggressive Monsters, that if one were to feel anger... the other Monster that they are bound to will immediately take in the same rage accordingly. Apparently, it gives them almost like a pack instinct, to gain up on threats and such. But it could be much more than that- for lustful purposes. I didn't want to be forced to feel emotions. "But I can't do it right now. M' not gonna just yet."
I gave him a strange look of uncertainty, but he only responded by smirking down at me. "Your Soul is just as feisty as you. If I were to do it right now, ya might get hurt. I need your Soul to trust me more- not to mention how tired I am. Right down to the bone."
"Yes... you are probably dead tired right now."
He snorted out a laugh at my small pun. "Yep, I might even find myself in an early grave."
"I'm not going to deal with this right now." I muttered out while closing my eyes. He was still snorting in laughter, especially once I gave him one more small joke. "Rest in peace, Sans."
---Sans' Pov---
It was a pretty long night between my broken ribs and fractured spine. I surprisingly slept really well since I got to inhale her scent the entire time... but that didn't change the fact that I was in pain.
Eventually, I got up from my bed to look down at (Y/n), One of her hands were still clutching onto one of my good ribs. I couldn't help it when I moved to brush a strand of hair out of her face, she was just really beautiful- that and my heat wasn't over. I'd have it for just today before I could finally start settling down.
That would be a good thing too considering the fact that her upper half of her body was exposed to me. I was brushing my hands against her breasts intentionally for the night, but she surprisingly never made a noise. From the books that I read on Human anatomy in the past, I knew quite a bit.
Unfortunately, I did not have the magical energy to quite literally mate with her. I wanted to, my instincts were telling me to... but I would wait it out for now. She'd probably break one of my legs if I got too close...
Picking at the hole in my skull, I decided to get out of the bed quietly to escape from the room. The voices in the back of my head were no longer telling me things that would drive me over the edge, they faded away into faint whispers.
Walking down the stairs, I noticed that the other Human female was on the couch. Upon taking a deep scent of the room, my animalistic instincts said one thing to me. 'Not mine.'
Because our Souls were very loyal to who we love, I took a step away from her with an annoyed huff. I remember telling her to not get closer to me awhile back, that is actually my Soul's way of telling other females that I am taken.
That I don't want them.
Shrugging as I moved into the restroom, I was quick to grab some bandages and start trying to use healing magic on myself. I wasn't very good at it so I instead opted to go into the kitchen so that I could eat something. You'd think that (Y/n)'s blood would of sated me last night, but all that it really did was push me to stay awake. Without it, she would of rendered me unconscious with very little difficulty.
Reaching into the fridge, I found some of Paps' spaghetti. With little hesitation, I took it and started eating at it. Not really caring if I pulled out the occasional small piece of flesh or limbs. Unfortunately, even if the Core were fixed... I doubt that I'd completely stop eating this. It became a terrible obsession...
Though as long as my (Y/n) was alright, I didn't really care about my diet. And because I marked her, I now knew that I'd never try to eat her... or that anyone else wouldn't try for that matter. It really was an indirect threat.
Because had I done nothing... someone might of tried to do just that.
