The sun shined bright today, no wonder it's called Sunday.
Today the coffee shop had quite a few customers, more than normal. Jimin and Taehyung were disappointed whenever the person walking through the door wasn't the Jungkook guy. They even started to think that they did scare him off.
Seokjin convinced Namjoon into moving in with him for at least a week so he could make sure the younger was caring for himself. He was worried about the younger overworking, so he was more than happy to take care of him.
The cafe wasn't packed, but it wasn't deserted either. There were still quite a few tables and booths left all around the workspace. Namjoon continued to work hard though, calculating the amounts in his head and making the drinks and food as quickly as possible; since he had memorized the entire menu.
It was later in the evening when the crowd started to ware off. People were still in there, most of them were college students (like Namjoon) working on homework. Seokjin had to leave early because he forgot to get groceries; his shift was over so he was allowed to go.
Namjoon was in the back, also working on homework, when two loud and familiar squeals were heard from outside.
Namjoon shut down his laptop and took off his glasses before making his way to the front to see what the commotion was about.
The same two boys as yesterday were there, one of them looking irritated and the other backing away a little. Taehyung and Jimin had wide smiles as they reached over the ordering counter. Namjoon grabbed the two boys and led them to the back, making them whine.
When he got back outside the two were still there. Namjoon went over to the front and made a polite dimple smile. But before he could say anything, the shorter asked,
"Are you alright, from yesterday?"
Namjoon nodded, his smile never leaving. "I'm good, thank you for asking. Now, what would you both like?"
"A 12 ounce coffee with cream and a banana milkshake."
"Alright! You can go over to Hoseok for your total."
When the two got to Hoseok is when he began to make their orders. Namjoon could hear the male's voice shine through the cafe, happy and lightening. He looked back at the two boys paying and saw the short one making short glances at the taller, while Jungkook just fiddled with his fingers.
Namjoon watched them sit down at a table and memorized its location when he put the milkshake on the tray. He carried the tray that held the two drinks over to the boys. When he made it to the table he calmly gave the two their drinks.
"Ah, thanks... uh.."
"Namjoon, I'm Namjoon."
"My name is Yoongi."
Namjoon smiled his classic dimple smile at the boy, who looked blank in emotion. Little did he know, the boy's mind spiraled on and on about how he felt about the sweet smile.
The cafe worker bowed politely and walked back to the counter with the empty tray. His deep voice was unique to Namjoon, even if he had heard Taehyung's thousands of times, his voice was different.
Then all of a sudden, by the time Namjoon got behind the register, Taehyung and Jimin ran over to Yoongi and Jungkook's table. The two got a couple of confused glances their way as they started asking thousands of questions to the poor boy, who sipped a bit of his milkshake while looking at them.
Namjoon chuckled and walked over to the table to calm the two down.
"Taehyung, Jimin, shouldn't you be helping Hoseok hyung with those boxes?" Namjoon asked while crossing his arms.
They turned around and immediately ran past Namjoon and to the back. The amount of energy they have is outstanding.
"You seem to have gained their attention." Namjoon said with a laugh.
The boy looked down shyly, so Namjoon made an offer. "I can ask them to back off if you want."
"No, it's alright." Jungkook insisted, now making eye contact with the waiter. Namjoon hesitantly nodded before walking back, not without one last smile that made the kitten smile from behind his back.
