Another explosion rocked the ground, causing both assassins and vigilantes alike falling towards the ground. Robin let out a stream of Arabic curses as he swore at his mother, pushing his three older brothers and some debris off him.
An assassin came at the still recovering boys, only to be intercepted by the fastest car in the world. Out spilled Batgirl, Black Bat, Spoiler, and Batman, wearing equally feral smirks as they assessed their opponents.
The Batfamily each took out their trademark batarang, only to be caught by surprise as the assassins also took out batarangs, especially since they were also shaped as bats.
"COPYRIGHT!" Red Hood exclaimed. The batarangs were one of the things that defined the Batfamily! The whole Batfamily wore livid expressions, even Black Bat was silently shaking in anger.
"Unlike your batarangs, these are called Assarangs, specially given to us by Ra's al Ghul himself," one of the assassins proudly stated, only to be knocked out by an escrima stick thrown at his head.
"Assarangs?" Red Hood smirked, before starting to laugh uncontrollably, joined in by almost all the members of the batfamily, except Batman aka I'm-too-serious-to-laugh, Robin, aka I'm-too-innocent-fot-this-shit, and Red Robin, aka I-didn't-hear-you-because-I-was-thinking-about-coffee.
"HOW DARE GRANDFATHER USE OUR BATARANGS FOR HIS OWN PURPOSE?!" Robin cried out in fury, receiving a quiet "We shouldn't have left them at the crime scene" from Spoiler, to which everyone batglared at her.
"How about we defeat these assh-umm assassins first," Nightwing muttered with a quick glance at a scowling Robin, "Then we can plan an attack in retaliation."
Batman balled his fingers into a fist, Nightwing took out his escrima sticks, the girls brought out their batarangs, Red Hood pulled his gun out of its holster, Red Robin swung his bo staff menancingly, and Robin unsheathed his sharpest katana with a vicious grin. The assassins were in for some deep shit.
Batman charged at a group of assassins, punching one swiftly in the face before kicking another one's knees. He threw a fallen assassin at a cluster of assassins, knocking all of them over like bowling pins.
Nightwing threw an electrified escrima stick at an assassin, using the other to parry a blow. He caught his stick easily, charging it up again before shocking the assassin he was currently fighting unconscious. He saw Batgirl running towards him as he launched her in the air, following after her as they both landed on assassins. Suddenly, Batgirl threw some batarangs at him, causing him to duck reflexively. It hit a couple assassins charging behind him. "Thanks," Nightwing breathed.
Spoiler and Black Bat charged together, parrying several blows as they both threw a foam batarang that released a high-density polyurethane foam that engulfed all the assassins, before hardening.
Red Hood shot several lethal shots at the assassins, until he ran out of bullets. Cursing rapidly, he threw his gun like a boomerang, knocking out several unexpecting assassins as he caught it again, smirking slightly.
Red Robin and Robin teamed up against a knot of assassins. Everybody knew that when Red Robin and Robin choose to work together, they are a force to be reckoned with. They might be even better than any pair of Dynamic Duos. (except probably Dick and Damian) Since they constantly fought, they have learned each other's moves better than their own, allowing them to predict what the other will do next. This is why they exchanged predatory smirks, before working on the assassins like a well-oiled machine.
Assassins lay scattered on the ground as the vigilantes collected all the batarangs stolen from them. Everyone, Batman especially, felt personally attacked.
"You all know what I'm thinking, right?" Nightwing muttered.
"Raid the League of Assassins base, and blow up all their assarangs?" Spoiler spit out the word like it was venom.
"Put on these clothes so we can sneak in," Batman ordered.
"These are too big for me to put on, Father."
"And don't we want to go in with a BANG?!" Nightwing asked.
"Plan first," Black Bat added, as they all climbed inside the Batmobile, and headed towards the Batcave to make a plan.
***
"Dropzone," Batgirl ordered as she gave control of the Batwing to Agent A.
Eight people jumped off the open hatch, using parachutes or their capes to slow their descent. They split off into two groups: the girls and Red Hood headed off to fight the incoming assassins. How were they so easily spotted? Simple, they landed straight in the middle of a field of training assassins. Stupid? Yes, but they needed to make a point.
That left Nightwing, Batman, Red Robin and Robin to blow up the armory. They let Robin navigate the maze that Ra's and Talia called the League of Assassin's base. They easily located the armory. There, they saw rows and rows of assarangs. It made Batman, aka the creator of the Batarangs, and Nightwing, aka the namer of the Batarangs, both start fuming.
"Detective, Grandson, I knew you would come," Ra's appeared by the door with Talia and a batallion of assassins, causing Nightwing to mutter a quiet "rude."
"Grandfather. Do you not have more honor than to use Father's batarangs and rename them?" Robin asked quietly, causing Ra's to chuckle silently.
"A dip in the Lazarus Pits is due for me soon, let us finish this quickly, Detective," Ra's drew a long katana.
Ra's and Batman met in duel, batarang against katana, although it was clear Ra's was gaining the upper hand, since batarangs...are not really an ideal weapon for close combat.
An escrima stick met with a katana, intercepting that would have been met by another katana, leaving Robin and Red Robin to handle the assassins. Nightwing and Talia were both equally matched, their fight turning into a graceful dance between the two.

Red Hood shot another assassin in the head. With a rubber bullet that just knocked him out. He knew that Batgirl was by his side, but he didn't know where Spoiler and Black Bat ran off to.
Red Hood smirked. They may have been outgunned, outmanned, and outnumbered, but they were not outplanned, and that gave them a huge advantage.
Distantly, he could hear Batgirl scream, "Maneuver Fastball!" as she jumped at him. He caught her arms, spinning her in circles before throwing her at a cluster of assassins.*
Batgirl landed gracefully on an assassin, kneeing one in the stomach, before kicking at another one's legs. She threw a batarang at an assassin running behind an unaware Red Hood, knocking him unconscious just as another batarang whizzed past her ear, accidentally slicing a few strands of hair before hitting it's target straight above the heart.
They both gave each other a nod of acknowledgement, before throwing batarangs, discs, wing-dings, and birdarangs at random targets, until they ran out of items to throw...except. Casually, Red Hood threw his AK-47 at the remaining assassin, catching it after, before the both of them ran to aid Spoiler and Black Bat.

Black Bat punched an assassin in the face, and elbowed another one in th eye. She felt two assassins grab her arms as she quickly swung her feet under them in retaliation, knocking them off their feet before throwing one at another assassin, who fell back into another assassin, and another, etc.
She spotted Spoiler locked in combat with the trainer of those assassins and what she identified as the 'star student'. She parried a blow with her bo staff, dodging another blow before pulling out a rope and ducking between their feet, tying their feet together in the process.
Spoiler smirked at them, "GO! Start this year's assassin-themed three-legged race."
Black Bat unsheathed her longsword, backing an assassin against the wall as she pulled out a dagger from her boot and stabbed the assassin's uniform against the wall, grazing his skin deliberately, before ducking as an assassin sliced at the place she has been a second ago, instead slicing through a pillar.
Spoiler smirked as she saw what Black Bat was doing. She backed up the rest of the assassins against the wall, and shouted, "Maneuver Seven!" as she cupped her fingers and let her best friend climb on them, before launching her into the air as she sliced another pillar.**
They were about to destroy the other two pillars, when they noticed Red Hood and Batgirl running towards them, as they each punched a pillar, just as Spoiler and Black Bat slipped out of the shelter, leaving the structure to collapse on the remaining assassins, forcing them to bear the heavy weight while trapping them , just like Atlas.
Black Bat, Spoiler, Red Hood, and Batgirl ran for the armory.
***
Robin and Red Robin swung their katanas or bo staffs at the assassins. They stood back to back, as a ring of assassins surrounded them.
They needed no words to communicate. Red Robin grabbed Robin's leg, swinging him around as he punched each of the assassins before Red Robin released his leg and he flew up and landed gracefully on another assassin.
Robin noticed Nightwing being led out of the room by his mother, just as Black Bat, Spoiler, Batgirl, and Red Hood charged into the room.
"Take these assassins down!" Robin ordered as he punched another assassin, before flipping out of the way.
He was about to pursue Nightwing and his mother, when he noticed his father getting overwhelmed in his fight against his grandfather. Being the good son he was, he rushed to aid his father.
***
Batman parried another blow from Ra's katana.*** He already sported a few cuts, acquiring another one in the process as Ra's unsheathed his other katana and sliced his arm.
Ra's striked at his kneecaps, causing Batman to collapse on the floor. He raised his sword into the air, bringing it into a killing blow, when a shorter katana parried his attack.
"Grandfather, I am here to replace my father in his fight."
***
Nightwing dodged another blow from Talia. She was slowly leading him out the door. She led him out of the armory, into a room devoid of any items, and started attacking ferociously. She stabbed, sliced, and speared at him with fluid movements as he flipped and cartwheeled out of harm's way.
This is going nowhere, Nightwing thought as he dodged another strike from Talia. As she brought her sword down on him again, Nightwing grabbed her sword arm, flipping her over his shoulder, grabbing her katana in the process.
"Yield, Talia," he exclaimed, twirling her katana as he slammed the hilt against her head, knocking her unconscious.
He quickly cuffed her to the doorframe, before bolting towards the training room to see a bleeding Batman, Black Bat, Spoiler, Batgirl, Red Hood and Red Robin taking care of the assassins, and Robin and Ra's facing off.
***
Batman gave Robin a batglare, and an unfazed Robin shot a glare, of higher intensity than the batglare, back.
"Stand down, Damian," Batman ordered.
"As if you could continue your fight, father," Robin sassed as he turned to face his grandfather.
The two of them circled each other, each looking for an opening. Robin lunged first. He jumped at his grandfather, only for Ra's to catch his arm and throw him against a wall.
"Pathetic, so much wasted potential," Ra's muttered as he casually walked towards the wall.
Robin growled in anger, as he moved to punch Ra's in the face, before Ra's grabbed his arm and flipped him over his shoulder.
"-tt-, such potential, wasted on such a petty cause,"
Ra's held his katana against Robin's throat, "Yield, Grandson."
Robin snarled, pushing the blade aside with his metal gauntlet. He slid out between his grandfather's knees, getting up quickly.
He kept a feral smirk on his face as he charged again. He was fuming, allowing his movements to become sloppy, as Ra's easily disarmed him. (How do you disarm someone?)
Smirking, Robin picked another katana from a nearby rack, striking again. Ra's slammed the hilt of his katana against him, causing him to fall backwards and slam into the wall.
"Pathetic. Your father has made you weak, grandson. Your brothers. A poor choice on my daughter's part. They have taught you nothing."
Robin snarled furiously, "They taught me more than you ever did!"
"Then enlighten me, grandson, what did the detective and his kin teach you?"
"Gladly."
Robin jumped at Ra's, as Ra's ducked before grabbing him and putting him in a chokehold.
Robin clamped his teeth shut on Ra's arm, causing him to let go, cursing rapidly in Arabic.
"Todd taught me how to fight dirty."
He threw his sword at his grandfather's head, as Ra's instinctively ducked, allowing the katana to reach its target and slam into a water pipe. Water spewed all over Ra's, as he slipped and fell.
"Cain taught me to use my surroundings to my advantage."
Robin ran at the still-recovering Ra's, sheathing his katana before kicking him in the groin, making Ra's to bend over, wheezing.
"Gordon taught me how to incapacitate a man. I use it on Grayson, Todd, and Drake everytime."
Robin did several flips, flying in and out of Ra's field of vision, as he suddenly appeared in front of Ra's, ready with a kick to his face that sent Ra's tumbling towards the ground.
"Grayson taught me how to use my flexibility to confuse my foes."
Robin ran under several racks, weaving around with ease, thanks to his short size.**** Ra's attempted to pursue him, but he banged his head against a rack when he tried to go under it. Before he knew it, a punch sent him reeling back as he laid on the ground, fighting for his consciousness.
"Drake taught me how to use my height and size to my advantage."
Robin smirked, unsheathing his katana, running his gloved hands on the blade as he casually walked towards the sprawled Ra's.
"And that punch, I surprisingly learned that from Brown. Yield, grandfather. I have bested you in combat."
Robin placed the tip of his sword an inch away from Ra's throat, smirking slightly.
"Well done, grandson. You have fought honorably today. But your father taught you nothing, did he not? Nothing that you mentioned in your monologue."
Robin smirked, "Father taught me the very thing that will ensure that I spare your life tonight. Justice, not vengeance"
He withdrew his katana, smiling smugly, "But that does not mean I cannot do this." He banged the hilt of his katana against Ra's head, and turned around to help the rest, only to see them watching him.
"That was so sweet of you, Robin. You meant all that, right?" Nightwing cooed.
"You were all done fighting, and you did not come and help?!" Robin demanded.
"You didn't need it,' Red Robin, being an annoying smartass as usual, pointed out.
"Let's explode this armory," Red Hood exclaimed excitedly.
"Already one step ahead of you," Spoiler replied as she gestured to the numerous explosives that she, Batgirl, and Black Bat had planted.
The eight of them waltzed out of the armory, climbing into the Batwing as they smirked at the assassins still holding up the ceiling. The Batwing took off into the air as the armory exploded.

***I took so long to write this sentence, since I didn't know if I should write 'Ra's katana' or 'Ra's's katana,' since his name is Ra's.
****I got this idea from a friend of mines, since he is really short, whenever we play tag in the playground, he is really difficult to catch because he keeps weaving under the bars and he barely has to duck.
