"That good for nothing, worthless piece of half-and-half fucking bastard piece of shit!" could be heard throughout the neighborhood of one pissed off blond as he ranted on his way home, "Who the fuck does he think he is? Walking that shitty nerd home!"

Bakugo couldn't be angrier as he made his way home, leaving a trail of smoke, fire and debris throughout the streets. Birds could be seen rapidly flapping their wings, frightened, as they fled the explosive atmosphere created by the blond.

Anyone smart enough to see him coming their way, immediately crossed the street, praying he hadn't noticed them as they tried scurrying away.

"Fucking Deku! I bet he's all giddy now with that ice princess!" Screeched Bakugo, making a right turn that led to his house. "Well fuck him and that half-and-half bastard! Fuck 'em both to hell!"

Trying to calm his anger, he grabbed onto the doorknob and harshly slammed the door open, making his way inside.

"I'm home!" he alerted his family of his presence as he kicked off his shoes before walking in all the way.

"As if you practically breaking down the fucking door wasn't enough to let us know, you decide to scream!" spat back an older version of Bakugo. Mitsuki Bakugo wasn't putting up with his teenage shit, "go to your fucking room Katsuki!"

"Prissy old hag..." he muttered more to himself as he acknowledged his father in the kitchen and made his way upstairs to his bedroom.

Sitting up from her spot on the couch, she turned the volume of the television down and faced her husband.

"Wanna bet what's got his panties in a knot Masaru?" she smirked, knowing full we she was gonna win.

"Honey, I don't think it's proper of parents to bet on what's going on in their kid's life..." he said, worriedly reprimanding his feisty wife.

Coughing out a small chuckle, she glared at him as she got up, turning the television off, and made her way up behind him, surprising the man as she placed her head on his back and wrapped her arms around him from behind, hooking them over his waist.

"Come one Masaru, what happened to the daring teen that made me fall in love?" she whispered onto his back.

"I think he grew up honey," he said chuckling and sighing a bit turning to face his wife, "but what do you wanna bet on?" he finished with a smirk and glint on his eyes as he took one hand and placed it on his wife's chin, lifting her gaze to meet with his.

"Now that's the man I married." she smiled into a kiss he was giving her, "I bet it's got something to do with little Izuku." She said, cutting off their little moment.

"Mm, I doubt it, I bet it's about that partner project he came rambling on about yesterday, you know he doesn't work well with others." He refuted her idea.

He wanted to win this bet, but he knew his wife could always decipher the blond teen much better than him.

"But I always lose these things when it's against you Mitsu." He said with a slight pout.

"Alright, what's in it for the winner?" She spoke with winning intent in every syllable as she pushed herself off her husband, leaving him leaning on the kitchen countertop.

Catching on to his wife's words, he knew he was already gonna lose this one.

"How about a nice getaway at the spa for the both of us?" he said smirking that devilish smirk he used to give her as teenagers.

"Wouldn't that be beneficial for the both of us Masaru?" she said, not liking that he was giving in that easily.

Knowing his wife to be the keen woman she was, he had tried to slip it past her, but failed anyways.

"Well, I still need a small vacation, so how about this. We go to the spa for a week, but we each do our own thing, you can even bring someone along. How's that?" he tried gambling, as he continued to finish cooking dinner.

'I could bring her along; Kami knows she needs it as much as I do.' She mulled it over for a few seconds before giving him an answer.

"Alright, shake on it!" Walking back to her husband, she spoke clearly as she stretched out her hand.

'I wonder who she's taking...' he thought, grabbing her hand and giving it a firm shake.

"Deal, but no meddling with the kid, we have to figure it out on our own." He said, making sure his wife wasn't playing dirty.

"Ok, ok!" she waved him off as she made her way back into the living room.

Turning on the television once again, she sat down as she began planning how to make the brat spill the beans.

'Or one green little bean...' she smirked at the idea, gazing upwards towards the roof at the sound of something falling.

"Keep it down brat!" She yelled at her son.

Locked in his room, the angry blond heard his mom yelling at him. Deciding his killing spree had gone on long enough, he changed out of his school uniform into some more comfortable clothes, or what he considered his jogging gear: a simple blue hoodie with some black sweatpants.

He needed to get his mind off these crazy things that keep swirling in it, he needed a distraction, and what better way to distract oneself and let off some steam than with a nice jog. Grabbing his keys, phone and headphones, he made his way back downstairs.

"I'm going for a jog." He told his parents, because Katsuki didn't ask for permission.

"Dinner's almost ready son, so don't take too long." Spoke the blond's kind father before he left.

Giving his dad a nod, he made his way out of the house. As he reached the streets, headphones in place, he looked down at his phone as 'I see you – Kygo ft. Billy Raffoul' shined on the screen.

"Tch!" he said, pressing play as he began his jog.

In, out, in, out, inhale, exhale. Left leg, left arm, right leg, right arm. As he steadily picked up the rhythm, he kept his gaze ahead of him, letting him know where he was heading.

Right turn. He kept running, pushing every thought away, keeping his feelings at bay, slamming them into the darkest corners of his mind. Left turn. One foot after the other, he pushed, he tried to forget, he tried to ignore. Right turn.

He could see a familiar sight, a sight that haunted him on occasions during sleep. Paying close attention to the lyrics of his song,

'You're more than just a notch in my belt,
A story to tell,
The only thing on my mind.
It's obvious I'm not doing well.
Do you see these eyes, when have you known me to cry?
And it's keeping me up at night...'

His mind was flooded with the sight of the small green-eyed boy. Little Deku, bigger Deku, teenage Deku. Every moment he had ever been a bully to the boy, every shove, harsh word, mean glare, hurtful punch that was ever directed at him, and Katsuki could feel it, he could see his eyes full of tears in the beginning which later became shrouded in a cold veil of nothingness.

Little Deku had grown up, he had stopped reacting to Bakugo's mean antics, had stopped caring, or so Bakugo thought. Another right turn, he kept on pushing, fighting back a few tears threatening to spill their way out.

Another round of memories flooded his teenage mind as new song's (Never Let You Go – Kygo ft. John Newman) lyrics creeped in through his ears,

'Through the longest of time I will never let you go
(Never let you go, I'll never let you go)
If we fall or stumble down I will always keep a hold
(Never let you go, never let you go)...'

"Kacchan..." whispered little Izuku, digging his stubby little fingers into the grass.

What was meant as a whisper and nothing more, reached the ears of said blond, "Huh?"

He had a timid look on his eyes, barely visible to the older blond boy, "You'll never leave me, right? We'll be best friends always?" spoke little Izuku, sadness grazing his voice.

"What are you getting at Deku? Of course, we'll be best friend forever, I'm not leaving you, not today, not tomorrow, not ever." He promised his best friend.

Heaving, trying to catch his breath as he held onto his knees, Bakugo could see small drops falling from what he could only guess were his eyes, as they landed on the concrete below him.

Crying, he let himself fall onto the grass next to the sidewalk he was on. He held on tightly to his shirt as his heart gave a slight squeeze that had him wincing completely on his back.

Opening his eyes, he could make out a few stars in the distant sky, darkness creeping its way in, slowly dragging night into the neighborhood.

"Why can't you just leave me alone...stupid Deku!" he said, clutching onto the soft cool grass that surrounded him, more silent tears rolling down his cheeks.

Katsuki had never felt so tormented in his life, least not by a single human being. He was emotionally and physically tired of what was happening to him.

"No matter how much I push you away..." he let out, stabbing his fingers past the grass into the dirt that it clung onto, his gaze still on the sky above, "...no matter where I go or what I do, you keep showing up. Why Deku? Why?"

Wiping away the tears that kept staining his cheeks, he stood and got a better look at his surroundings. What had him gasping wasn't the jog anymore, but the hill right before his eyes, and soon another memory invaded his mind.

"Wow...this is...Kacchan, I've never seen anything so pretty!" said Izuku dropping his gaze towards Katsuki, eyes full of delight.

Said blond caught little Izuku's eyes and instantly felt a slight blush crawl its way onto his cheeks.

"Dummy! That's cuz I've never brought you here before." He answered back, turning his face away trying to hide his face.

This was his hill. No, this was their hill. Where he had brought Izuku one lovely afternoon to watch the sunset with him. Where he would come when Izuku wasn't with him. Where he had promised so many things he had long forgotten.

'What a happy day that was.' He thought.

"Tch! Forget it Katsuki!" he spat at himself, angry for having those memories flood his mind.

'No!' he thought, 'Don't forget!', his heart screamed back.

He wanted to understand, he needed to understand what the hell was going on with him. No one was going to do it for him, so he had to tackle this head on.

Ignoring it certainly wasn't helping, so what's the next rational thing Katsuki could do? Face it and learn to deal with it. He just wasn't quite sure what 'it' was.

As he made his way up the hill, he was thankful for the updraft he could feel enveloping his body, he certainly needed it, he felt scorching hot, and he wasn't normally bothered by heat, which ticked him off even more.

Having reached the top, he just stood there and observed. A passerby could simply say he was looking at the upcoming night sky, maybe stargazing, but no, Katsuki Bakugo was piercing his way into his soul, trying to put meaning to his feelings.

"Maybe I could talk to him about it..." he said, deeming it the only reasonable conclusion he could come up with.

"Hell, I wonder if he'll even want to speak to me, I've put him through so much, I'm surprised he still smiles at me." Was the final thing he said as the winds carried his words away, looking down at his phone, he saw the time and decided it was time he headed home.

Making his way down the hill, though no one would ever know about it, he smiled as he thought of how they held hands on their way down together after that beautiful sunset many years ago.

'I really can't push you out, can I, Izuku?' he thought as he glanced sideways to see a small bird landing on a branch and nestling next to its mate, his smile growing even wider, 'Kind of how you settled into my lap as the sun went down.'

If he was going do this, he needed to settle his thoughts. First step was to not push them away. He let them take over his mind, and many tried taking over, so he settled on the happier ones, knowing he'd have to face the others soon enough.

But for now, he was enjoying the giddiness it brought him and the serenity he was feeling, no longer having to fight back.

Counting the trees on his way back home, he couldn't help but notice how their messy green leaves resembled the nerd's hair.

"Tch! Even the fucking trees are out to get me now." He tried to say angrily, though he didn't mean it, he was just glad at the peace that had overcome his entire being, he felt relaxed, and damn did it feel good. Maybe he'd get some decent sleep tonight.

Walking through his front gate, Katsuki made his way into his home, "I'm back.' He announced, kicking off his sneakers.

"Oh good! Dinner's about to be served, go wash up and come sit." He heard his father say.

Something smelled good, and he was hungry, so he hurried off to the bathroom.

"Well, he seems a lot calmer. I told you we should have bought him that treadmill Masaru." Said Mitsuki, placing cups and silverware on the dining room table, going back to the kitchen for napkins.

"If that's the secret to calming a raging soul down, then I'm getting you one too." Joked Masaru. He loved teasing his feisty wife, she knew he was only teasing.

"Ha! Ha! Very funny, now hurry up and serve, I'm starving." She said giving him a glare as she took a seat on the left side of the table and began pouring water into their cups.

"Give me a sec, you know how Katsuki likes his curry on point, I can't mess this up considering his attitude earlier, he'd hang me." He said, serving three plates and dashing out of the kitchen to have everything ready before their teenage son came back down.

As soon as his back touched his seat at the head of the table, they heard soft steps making their way down the stairs. Their son quickly sat across from his mom, they said thanks, and began eating.

"So, brat, wanna tell us what the hell's going on?" smirked the older blonde, staring at her son.

'Great, there goes a chance at a quiet dinner...' thought Masaru as he prepared for the fireworks.
