You were taking a walk around your new educational institution ,World Academy, during lunch time. You moved in ___(favourite country)___ just recently and today was your first day in this academy. You saw a big shady tree outside the school building and decided to sit there and read a book.
You were minding your own business until a figure was standing in front you. You looked up to see a pair of green eyes staring at you. He has dark brown hair and a long curl at the right side of his head.
"Is there a problem?" you nervously asked. He was muttering something under his breath, scratching the back of his head.
You realized something. "Oh, is this your spot? I'm sorry-"
"It's fine, you can-a sit there," he said. You patted the ground beside you. He hesitated for a while but decided to sit down beside you anyways.
"You're new here?" he asked. You nodded in response.
"I'm_____. I just moved here a few days ago. Today's my first day here. Nice to meet you,uh.."
"Lovino...Lovino Vargas...that's my-a name. Nice t'meet you-a too," he looked away, a faint blush on his cheeks. He was holding a ripe tomato in his right hand, taking bites from it.
After a few moments of awkwardness, he gave you a tomato. "You don't bring-a anything but a book. Might as well eat-a so you won't get-a hungry," he said. You uttered a 'thank you' before taking the red fruit and eating it.
The bell rang indicating luchtime is over. "Guess I'll see you later," he waved. You waved back, hoping to see him again.
. . . .
The next day, you became friends with Bella and her brother, Abel. Bella has English, History, Maths and Science classes with you. Both of you instantly became close friends. She's very friendly and kind. Her elder brother, Abel, is a nice man too.
"I don't care, tomato bastard!" You heard a yell behind you. You turned around to see Lovino and a cheerful man beside him. The man has curly brown hair and green eyes.
"Hallo, Lovino! Toni!" The Belgian girl waved. Abel just gave a nod, his way of greeting.
"Hola, Bel! Abel!" said the man with a thick Spanish accent. "You made a new friend? Hola! My name is Antonio, but you can call me Toni if you want!" he introduced himself. You smiled and introduced yourself as well, glad that you made another friend.
The bell rang indicating school is over. You waved goodbye at the others and stepped out of the school, walking home. Your younger brother took your bicycle for the day so you had to walk back home. The distance to your house from the school is a little far and your parents can't pick you up since they're interviewing for their new job.
After a few minutes of walking, the sky turned dark. It began to drizzle. You shivered a little in the rain, but kept walking. Suddenly, the rain stopped and you looked up to see an umbrella. Lovino stood beside you, the umbrella in his right hand.
"You'll get sick-a because of the rain, ragazza," said the Italian. "You don't bring an umbrella with-a you all the time?"
You shooked your head in response. He sighed. "I'll walk-a you home..if that's what-a you want," he offered.
. . . .
You arrived in front of your house. By that time, the rain stopped. Be that as it may, the sky was still dark. But it got a little brighter each minute.
"You have my sincerest thanks, Lovino," you smiled.
"Si...prego," he nodded, a faint smile tugging on his lips. "___? Would you like to-a go on a date with-a me sometimes?" he asked.
"I would love to, Lovino," you said, kissing his cheek, making him blushed a deep shade of red. It was the beginning of your first relationship. Everyday, you and Lovino would sit down together under the tree, where both of you first met, during recess at the academy. Sometimes you would also go on dates with him. You were truly happy with Lovino.
