Back story: She was once a normal Charoite under Purple Diamond's Colony. Purple Diamond was creating something to cure corrupted or defective gems instead using all the Diamond's Power mixed together only leaving some still corrupted parts but sane mind. Charoite was one of the volunteers being loyal to Purple Diamond. She took one of the experiments... But something was wrong.
Instead of curing deflected or corrupted gems it did the opposite.
