-
hoseok had no
idea how he
found himself
sat in a restaurant,
surrounded with
people laughing,
eating, slurping
drinks.
instead of joining
in, hoseok was
slumped forward,
eyes staring forward
dully at the filled
plate in front.
he couldn't seem
to grasp the reason
as to why they
were celebrating.
jimin had in
fact cheated on
yoongi, hoseok
had revealed his
darkest secrets to
everyone and yet
seokjin still dragged
the group out of
the house, turning
into a fancy restaurant
and ordering the
most expensive wine.
hoseok didn't eat.
he skipped the
starter, stared at
his main meal and
refused dessert. yet
no one even noticed,
everyone far too
bothered in their
own small
conversations.
seokjin made
a joke, everyone
laughed, their
faces bright and
eyes crinkled.
jeongguk was
telling a story
only for namjoon
to hit on the back
of the head,
deeming it
too personal
to share.
but hoseoks
gaze never left
the place in
front of him,
the white cloth
being revealed to
him before yet
another plate
full of steaming
food was placed
in front of him.
he didn't even
have the energy
to lift the wine glass
situated just
beside him.
dawon had a
pursed smile,
still annoyed at
hoseoks remark
of seokjin being
his replacement.
it was true, she
knew it was.
deep down
beneath her
whole i'm always
right facade,
she knew that
seokjin was in
fact a replacement
for the young
sunshine they'd lost.
but a pair of
eyes were
trained on
the younger
the whole meal,
watching how
his face dropped
as each laugh
was a stab to
his poor aching
heart, lips pursed
and dry from
not daring to
move and inch
in case he
broke down
in tears.
yoongi kicked his foot.
hoseok glanced
up. feline eyes
meeting his as
he finally showed
an emotion,
confusion written
all over his face as
he cocked his
eyebrow.
yoongi acted like
it wasn't him.
a playful facial
expression as
he acted innocent,
his mouth barely
being able to
hold back a
smile as he saw
hoseoks own
twitch into one.
he kicked his
foot again, hoseok
glancing up at
yoongi, a small
smile displayed
on his lips. he'd
finally cracked
the younger.
yoongi smiled
back, before
turning away
so their interaction
didn't look
too suspicious.
"i'm glad that
everything is
out in the open,
and now we can
all move on."
naphat smiled,
raising his glass
in there.
"what?"
everyone was
shocked, hoseoks
voice for the first
time that evening
spread across
the table.
"you seriously
think we can
move on?" he
scoffed, pushing
back his chair
and standing up.
"i've had to sit
here and listen
to all of you act
like nothing ever
happened. well it
did. i was allowed
to be striped of
my innocence by
the man sat on
this very table,
i was replaced
by someone
everyone loves
dearly. how can i
just sit here and
accept that?"
"hoseok-" seokjin
tried to interrupt
but it fell on death ears.
"no! how dare
you think that i
can just move on.
i can't! i'm sick
of sitting here
and lying to you.
half of you don't
even know what's
truly happened."
hoseok looked
at naphat and
bogum. "we're sat
here celebrating
the end of a
relationship and
the destruction
of my self worth."
before anyone
could stop him,
hoseok stormed
out, his hands
trembling as he
began walking
back to seokjins
from the restaurant.
it wasn't too far, the
walk allowing
hoseok the head
space that
he required.
he wished he'd
never agreed to
come on the trip,
everything falling
out of place even
further than it was
before. bogum
hanging around like
a lost puppy because
he still had major
feelings for hoseok
yet hoseok couldn't
seem to bring himself
to even think about
ever going out
with bogum.
jimin was
simply moping
around now,
upset that his true
colours had been
revealed, dawon
and naphat
becoming further
apart with each
sunrise and the
trio seemed to be
the only ones
actually happy
within their
small world.
hoseok slammed
the door, putting
his keys on the
counter and flinging
open the cabinet.
his hand grasped at
the neck of a soju
bottle, quickly
uncapping it and
downing the contents
down the back of his
throat. it wasn't
before long he was
reaching out for
another and doing
the exact same.
he heard the
front door open
again, now on his
fourth bottle. as
he turned around
he felt the alcohol
beginning to effect
him, his eyes
blurring slightly.
but hoseok could
handle his drink,
the figure now
becoming clearer
as it walked into
the scene, eyes
scanning the
empty bottles.
"hoseok..."
raspy and deep.
fuck. of course
it was yoongi.
his intoxicating
smell was just
ringing out to the
younger as he
approached him,
eyes scanning the
beauty in front.
"gorgeous." hoseok
mumbled, cupping
the boys cheek.
his words weren't
lies as he couldn't
begin to fathom
the way yoongis
face appeared.
it was perfect.
too perfect.
yoongis fingers
clutched hoseoks
tiny waist, a soft
squeeze emitting
from them as he
gazed into the
others eyes.
"you've been
drinking?" it came
out more of a
question, rather
than a
statement.
hoseok glanced
behind him,
a giggle coming
past his lips. "oh
yeah. jin hyung
always has a
stash somewhere." he
licked his lips, a
small smile
on his face.
yoongi was
happy to see
the boy finally
smile. that
beautiful heart
shaped wonder,
a contagious feeling
spreading
throughout his
body. how
he loved how
hoseok made
him feel.
all thoughts
about jimin and
the others
instantly forgotten
as yoongi leant
down, capturing
hoseok into a
passionate kiss,
hands pulling the
boy further
into him.
their lips danced
together, yoongi
tasting the soju
from earlier,
humming gently
into the kiss as
hoseok responded
hastily, as though
he was going to
loose yoongi
after today.
the pair stumbled
into the downstairs
bedroom which
luckily was yoongis,
collapsing on the
bed, hoseok
looming over
the older, using
his hands beside
his head to hold
him up, lips
never disconnecting
once.
yoongi quickly
flipped the pair
over, kissing
down onto
hoseoks neck
leaving open
mouthed kisses
as he swirled
his tongue onto
the skin, a soft
moan leaving the
youngers open
mouth.
he kissed
hoseoks collarbones,
biting them slightly
before sucking
gently, leaving a
faint mark upon
the bone, moving
back to the pillows
that were hoseoks
lips, reconnecting
them.
yoongi rolled off
of the younger,
not wanting to
go too far as their
chests rose up
and down heavily,
still being effected
by the intense
moment earlier.
"fuck." hoseok
breathed, hand
going through
his hair. "i want
to go further
but, i don't think
i'm ready."
yoongi turned
on his side, facing
the younger, a
soft smile displayed
on his lips. "thank
you for telling
me and being
honest." he pressed
a kiss to
hoseoks lips again,
allowing the
younger to bury
himself into his
chest, a hand
running his fingers
gently through
the locks.
"thank you
for not being
angry." it was
muffled but
yoongi still heard.
"there's a lot you
don't know about
me still."
"i could never
be angry with
you." i think i
love you
too much.
