The call of a Griffin sounded through the air as he flew over the army and laned down beside Peter.
"Sire the Witch's army is almost upon, in numbers and weapons far greater than our own." He panted.
"Numbers do not win a battle." Oraius said proudly.
"No, but I bet they help." Peter stated.
With The Sisters
Waking up next to the Great Lion and their sister, the girls realized that they couldn't stay there forever.
"We should go." Susan said standing and helping her little sister of the Stone Table. But as the girls were descending the stairs, something magical happened. The earth shook and the Stone Table cracked.
"Susan!" Lucy called as she stood back up and that her sister and Aslan's bodies were gone.
"Where are they?" Lucy questioned.
"What have they done?" Susan whispered thinking that the Witch was somehow involved.
Looking up the girls saw their sister and Aslan standing there in all their beautiful glory as though nothing had ever happened.
"FREYA!" The sisters yelled rushing forward.
"But how? We saw the knife and the Witch-" Susan started.
"If the Witch had understood the true meaning of sacrifice, then she might have interpreted the Deep Magic differently." Aslan spoke up. "When a willing victim who has committed no treachery, is killed in a traitor's stead, the Stone Table will crack, and even death itself would turn backwards."
"We've already sent word that the two of you were dead. Peter and Edmund would have gone to war." Susan explained.
"We have to help them." Lucy declared drawing her dagger.
"And we will, but we won't go alone." Freya spoke up.
"Climb onto my back. We have far to go and little time to get there. And you might want to cover your ears." Aslan warned as he lowered himself to the ground allowing the girls to climb on. Letting out the loudest roar he had ever managed in his life Aslan took off towards the Witch's castle.
Back to the Battle
As the armies continued their battle Edmund called forth the Phoenix to catch fire to the ground hoping to give Aslan's army enough time to fall back. But it was all for not. As the White Witch used her staff dispel the flames and to continue forth.
"FALL BACK!" Peter called. "FALL BACK!"
As the army pulled back into the mountains they knew so well they hoped it would give them a better advantage against their enemies.
As the battle strove on Peter was knocked from his steed. Oraius seeing this knew he had to do something as the Witch was heading straight for the young King. Coming to a decision, Oraius prepared his swords and took off running towards the Witch.
"No!" Peter yelled. But it was all in vain as his cry was drowned out by the sounds of clashing metals and screams of pain. Oraius leaped over the witch's head taking a swing at her with his blade in hopes of decapitating her but she had anticipated his move.
Spinning around in her chariot, the Witch blocked his sword and then prieced his side turning him into stone.
With Aslan
Freya's P.O.V
Finally arriving at Jadis's castle of ice, went dismounted Aslan and ran inside. Some many people have suffered at the hands of this Witch but no more. I felt more anger boiling inside me as I looked around at all these innocent people. But one in particular caught my eye...Mr. Tumnus.
Rushing towards him with my sisters behind me I couldn't help the sob that escaped my throat. Pulling Lucy into my arms, knowing she could feel my pain as well. Mr. Tumnus had been our friend, and it had nearly gotten him killed.
I watched as Aslan stepped forward and breathed life back into him. Slowly, the icy stone melted away and Mr. Tumnus was once more. Rushing forward I caught Mr.Tumnus in my arms as he fell forward.
Once he realized who I was a smile lit up his face and he laughed as Lucy came up and hugged him too.
"Susan this is-"
"Mr. Tumnus!" She cut me and rushed forward to hug him.
"Come, we must search the castle. Peter will need everyone we can find." Knowing what I needed I closed my eyes and envisioned my weapons and my armor.
Soon I was clothed in my armor and weapons. Rushing through the castle I used my staff to revive those under the Witch's curse.
"Aslan that's all of them, the entire castle is now free of her victims!" I cheered rushing out to where he was when a horrible pain ripped through my body, bringing me to my knees. No....
Edmund.
Gasping in my I stood up as the others looked at me in worry.
"It's Ed, he's hurt. We have to go now!" I yelled climbing onto Odin's back, a centaur I revived and took off towards the battle.
Soon enough we had arrived, with Aslan and I at the lead. Reaching the edge of a rock that overlooked the battle Aslan Let out a mighty roar gaining everyone's attention.
I saw her and Peter, they were staring at us in shock. My anger was at an all time high when I realized that she and Peter had been battling. Rushing forward on top of Odin I killed those who got in my way as I kept going towards them. Jadis was doing everything she possibly could to try to kill Peter before I got to her but it was no use.
Leaping from Odin I tackled her off of Peter clashing our swords together.
"It's impossible!" She yelled as she tried to take off my head. "You were dead! I killed you!"
"Yes!" I screamed bring up my sword and slicing her cheek open. "You did! But Now! Now it's you who shall die!" I yelled using my magic to throw her back. Letting my staff fall to the ground I leaped over the rock I had thrown her over, I put my sword to her throat.
"I'll see you in hell!" And with those final words I brought my blade down and pierced her heart. I watched as the life left her eyes and pulled my sword from her chest and then stuck it into the ground beside the now dead witch.
"It is done." Aslan spoke.
"Not quite." Going over to my staff I grasped it and raised it to the sky calling forth the sun to blind both sides, forcing them to stop fighting. "The White Witch is dead! This war is over! Surrender and you will be shown mercy! Lay down your weapons!" I yelled. Cheers erupted as almost immediately the witch's army laid down their weapons, surrendering completely. Lowering my staff I made my way over to Peter.
"Where's Edmund?" Peter took my hand and ran us to where my twin laid dying.
"Edmund!" Susan yelled raising her bow and arrow, shooting the dwarf that had attempting to kill him. Rushing forward I knelt beside my brother and took off his helmet as Lucy used her fire flower juice to try and save him. When it appeared to not be working the others started crying, but I knew. I knew he was still alive, Edmund gasped and opened his and sat up.
Peter jerked him into his arms and cried tears of joy.
"When are you going to learn to do as you're told?" Peter joked as we all hugged him. Looking up towards Aslan I watched him breath life back into one of the victims that turned to stone. Smiling I stood and grabbed my staff and rushed forward with Lucy who had her Fire Flower juice and together we revived all those who were wounded and turned to stone.
A week Later
Smoothing out the fine material of my dress I couldn't help but feel a little guilty. After all, the eldest is meant to have the title of high queen. But Aslan had said that from the very beginning that I was born to be high queen. And it didn't seem to bother Susan and Peter any. Letting out shaky breath as Mrs. Beaver added the last touch to my hair I tried to ignore the churning in my stomach. Standing from my chair I slipped into my heels and met my sisters outside in the hallway.
"Wow!" Lucy gasped as she grabbed my hand. "You look stunning Freya!"
"She right, you look absolutely beautiful." Susan smiled.
"You guys look amazing as well. Am I the only one who feels like I'm about to throw up?" I joked, giving them a small smile. They laughed and shook their heads no as Niome, a Fawn, came up to us.
"Your Majesties. It's time." Swallowing the vomit that attempted come out I followed the others till we met up with our brothers. When they looked at us their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
"Well well well, who knew our sisters were so beautiful?" Peter joked as he came to stand beside me.
"Oh shut up." I rolled my eyes as Mr. Beaver instructed us to stand in our positions. From left to right it went Lucy, Edmund, me Peter and Susan. At the sound of the trumpets the five of us walked out into the throne room. Everything else faded around me as I stepped up to my throne, I was born for this. This is the moment I've been waiting for my whole life. Turning back towards the crowd, I was overcome with happiness.
"To the glistening Eastren Sea, I give you Queen Lucy, The Valiant." Grabbing a silver flower tiara Mr.Tumnus placed it upon Lucy's head.
"To the Great Westren Woods, I give you King Edmund, The Just." Repeating the process Mr. Tumnus placed a silver crown upon Edmund.
"To the Radiant Southern Sun, Queen Susan, The Gentle." Similar to Lucy's tiara Mr. Tumnus placed a golden one on Susan.
"To the Clear Northern Sky I give you, King Peter, The Magnificent." A solid gold crown was placed on his head just as Aslan started speaking again.
"And to The Deep Magic and Deep Shining Seas I give you, High Queen Freya, The Harmonious." Mr. Tumnus raised a silver and sapphire cover tiara as I bowed my head. Feeling the weight of not just the tiara, but also the responsibility that comes with it, I raised my head high as we took our rightful places on the thrones of Narnia.
"Once a Queen or King of Narnia. Always a Queen or King of Narnia. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the Heavens." Aslan turned to the people. "Long Live Queen Lucy, Long Live King Edmund, Long Live Queen Susan, Long Live King Peter, and Long Live Queen Freya!" Everyone chanted and cheered.
Finally, we're home.
