BTS at the 2019 MMA's
Seulki smiled brightly as she followed Yoongi out of the car and onto the red carpet. Her black dress matched the decal of Taehyung's suit. She had a white ruffled collar and her black heels had silver décor all over them, making her taller than usual but still not tall enough to tower over any of the members. Yoongi quickly turned and offered his hand to her while Jungkook held his jacket over her legs so no compromising photos could be taken. She laughed a little; her dress was far too long for anything to show but she gratefully took Yoongi's hand and thanked Jungkook for the jacket.
Fans cheered and screamed, and lights flashed from left and right as the group made their way down the carpet. Seulki smiled and waved to the camera's and ARMY's that had come out for the award show. They stood at the front, all in line and greeted everyone. Seulki's hair has now been dyed a pale purple, almost lavender, color and hung in loose curls down her back. It has definitely grown longer the past few months. Without extensions, it reached the middle of her back. She smiled while Namjoon and Yoongi answered a few questions before they were waving and heading inside.
She smiled when she saw they would be sitting in front of TXT, and she could see the excitement in the younger group's eyes. They all greeted each other, Yeonjun and Soobin were a little more animated in their greetings, bowing and shaking hands but Seulki laughed, thinking it was cute at how after all these months, they were still a flustered and stuttering mess around them. Everyone sat as the host started speaking and getting the award show moving. When BTS was called for their first award, Seulki was ecstatic, joining Taehyung in dancing around the stage. She didn't miss how Taehyung immediately pushed Hobi forward when it came to the best dance.
However, when it came to them winning the last daesang awarded for the night, Seulki couldn't help but shed a few tears, doing her best not to break down. It was only a dream for them that would ever win anything, and when they had their first win all those years ago, she was happy. She had told herself she could live with that. However, winning all the categories they were nominated for PLUS all the daesang' s that are awarded, she was overjoyed. It had been something her and the boys had only ever dreamed of and here they were, accomplishing this dream because of ARMY's. She wiped her tears, Hoseok back hugging her and giggling at her rare display of emotions in front of the fans. Namjoon finished speaking and then Seulki was pushed in front of the mic.
She smiled, looking at the crowd through tear-filled eyes. She could briefly see that Yeonjun was still standing and clapping and she couldn't help but giggle a little, the mic picking it up and her members laughing at her. She took a deep breath, the large smile never leaving her face. "ARMY!!" She yelled and the stadium erupted into screams. "This is all because of you! I promise that we will work harder to give you better music and better shows this next year. This is all a dream for me, that I never thought possible and you all have made that possible." The stadium erupted into cheers and screams again. "ARMY! Saranghaeyo!" She lifted her arms, making a heart and the cheers got louder, if that was even possible.
BTS was quickly rushed back-stage, it was time to start their performances for the night. Seulki watched in awe as Namjoon opened with Persona. She loved his stage presence, especially now that he had all the confidence in the world, and it showed. She happily joined everyone on stage, belting her notes out and dancing her heart out. Everyone could tell her dance moves were more powerful than usual and her energy was up. They rushed backstage again and Seulki quickly changed. She watched, with a toothy grin, as her brother's solo stages started. She was so proud of them, of herself and was so happy this is something she is able to do the rest of her life.
It was almost her turn, right after Jungkook, it was time for her solo stage. Her black jumpsuit glittered under the stage lights along with her shoes also adorned with crystals that sparkled every time the light hit them. She heard the music for Just One Day and closed her eyes, starting to move her body without having to think about it. Her brothers watched from behind, huge smiles on their faces, especially Hoseok's. "She is absolutely great." He beamed. "I love watching her on stage," Jimin said, taking his place next to Hoseok. "She exudes confidence and I wish that's how she always felt." The others agreed, never taking their gazes off their sister.
Her song ended quickly and once the lights went out, she practically sprinted back, watching Namjoon walk out for his solo stage. All the boys gave Seulki a thumbs up and she smiled. She felt absolutely great right now. Dionysus started and Seulki and the other 7 members all danced their heart out. She felt happy as they went backstage, and she wiped the sweat away. "You all were absolutely amazing!" She beamed at her brothers as they trickled into the room. Yoongi sat next to her, kissing her temple. "You were amazing, S. We couldn't keep our eyes off of you." She smiled, resting her head on his arm. The rest of the award show went on without a hitch and Seulki had never been happier to start piling into the van.
"I never knew carrying all this ego would make me so tired," she said dramatically, pausing briefly to throw her arm over her eyes. Hoseok and Jimin laughed when Namjoon almost plowed right over her. "Okay prima donna, let's keep moving." He gently pushed her. She giggled and started walking again. As they piled into their car, Seulki had that uneasy feeling that someone was watching her. She shook it off and hopped in, joking around with her members. She felt her phone vibrate but ignored it, gladly listening to where they were about to go eat. As they arrived at the restaurant, Seulki once again had the uneasy feeling that they were being watched. She briefly looked over her shoulder and scanned the area but didn't see anyone. "S, you coming?" Jin asked, looking at her with a raised eyebrow. She shook her head, feeling that she was just going crazy.
She walked in and felt her phone vibrate again but she ignored it, enjoying the night with their staff and the rest of her members. As the piled into the cars for the last time that night to head back to their home, Seulki pulled her phone and looked at the messages. Her breath hitched. It was the same number from the past few months; no matter how many times she's changed her number, the same person seemed to get it. She saw pictures of the members, but the camera obviously trained on her specifically. They weren't professional photos by any means, just like all the others they mysterious number has been sending her. It was always the little messages after the pictures that made her erupt into goosepbumps.
