NaYeon closed her eyes feeling his touch. He closed his eyes as well and moved his lips a bit. He was not surprise when he got her response. NaYeon's hand slid around his neck while his grip on her waist became tight. They were actually kissing for the first time. With their loud heart beats and clouded minds, they kissed each other tenderly moving their heads in sync, savouring each other's taste.
JeongYeon stopped his lips movement and looked at NaYeon who just open her eyes as he had stopped. They didn't let go of each other lips and JeongYeon smiled making a curve on his lips. NaYeon felt his lips movement and smiled as well.
"Did I miss something?" JiHyo asked leaning on the door. They pushed each other fixing themselves.
"What the hell, Ji?" He frowned at her. NaYeon looked away in embarrassment.
"Go get a room loser. I was waiting for straight 10 minutes in the waiting room and you were busy fucking your wife." She said with a glare.
"It's not like that." NaYeon defended.
"Oh, come on, I'm not a kid anymore. You forgot that you had a meeting?" JiHyo asked JeongYeon who just flinched.
"I was just going but she stopped me. It's her fault." He said blaming NaYeon grabbing the important documents and left for the meeting while NaYeon just glared at him.
"I'm so happy that he has moved on. Thank you so much NaYeon unnie." JiHyo held her hands giving her a soft smile.
"I'm still not sure about it JiHyo-ah. For now, I'm just loving this change. I love him and I'm happy as long as he's happy. Even without me." NaYeon said and sighed.
"I wonder what could have happen if she would have told him the truth." JiHyo said shaking her head.
"What truth?" NaYeon raised her brows.
"Jisoo unnie loved JeongYeon. She loved him so much but didn't tell him because she didn't want him to be hurt in the last. You know she had cancer and she only told me not even to her family."
"Wait, Jisoo loved JeongYeon, not me?" NaYeon asked crossing her brows.
"Love you? Are you crazy? You knew her already?" JiHyo chuckled in confusion.
"Jisoo told JeongYeon that she...no it's okay. I understand now." NaYeon said scratching her head.
"You okay unnie?" JiHyo asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm okay. You should go in the meeting room, JiHyo-ah." NaYeon said pushing her out of the room. JiHyo looked at her confusedly and walked out of the room.
NaYeon closed the door and covered her mouth in shock. She massaged her head groaning confused about everything.
"JeongYeon loved Jisoo and Jisoo loved him too. But Jisoo didn't say that because she had cancer." NaYeon mumbled.
"JeongYeon said he didn't get any chance to confess because she told him that she liked me but I didn't know anything about it."
"Wait, she used me as an excuse to stop JeongYeon from confessing?" NaYeon asked herself frowning.
"No, why she would use me out of all the people?" NaYeon scratched her head in confusion.
"Yeah, maybe because JeongYeon didn't know anything about me."
"Wait, she lied to JeongYeon because she didn't want to hurt him telling him about her sickness." She nodded mumbling every word.
"That's right. You loved JeongYeon but used me to not to hurt him. Am I right?" NaYeon asked to the photo frame. She hit her own head on her silliness.
"So, JeongYeon need to know that Jisoo loved him. He'll be so happy." NaYeon pressed her lips smiling in satisfaction.
"JeongYeon-ah, you're so lucky that she loved you back." She pouted looking at the picture.
"We love the same person, right?" NaYeon said poking the picture frame.
After an hour, JeongYeon was back in his cabin and found NaYeon sleeping on the couch with Jisoo's picture between in her arm. He frowned and put the documents back on his table. He then went to her and sat on the table across the couch.
He looked at the picture for a while then back to NaYeon who was sleeping soundlessly. Her lips were slightly parted showing her bunny teeth. He sighed looking at the picture frame remembering that night when he made a scene with NaYeon for Jisoo.
"We love the same person, right?" He said looking away chuckling slightly.
He took the picture frame from her hands and placed it on his table. He then wore his coat and packed his bag. He tapped NaYeon to wake her up. She mumbled something rubbing her eyes and sat up on the couch.
"JeongYeon-ah, I need to tell you something." She said standing up quickly but covered her mouth.
"Kyungwan, I h-have something to tell you." She said looking down. She cursed herself for calling him by his name again.
"Let's go home first." He said and walked out of the room. NaYeon quickly packed her stuffs and followed him behind.
The whole drive was silent again. NaYeon wanted to tell him something badly but waited for the right time. JeongYeon wanted to start a conversation but he didn't have any topic to talk about.
NaYeon made their dinner as always after arriving home. JeongYeon went in his room to wash up. As he was taking shower, he faced himself in the mirror. He touched his lips recalling the moment that had happened in the office.
"Do I love you, NaYeon?" He mumbled.
"Why you're changing me, huh?" He said and sighed. He then shook his head and wiped his face turning off the shower.
He came downstairs after changing and waited for NaYeon to come and eat with him. He went busy with his tab while waiting for his wife. NaYeon came downstairs after like half an hour and looked at her husband who was frowning looking at her.
"What took you so long? I'm hungry."
"Since when you started waiting for me, huh?" NaYeon smirked while serving their foods. He didn't answer looking away.
"Now eat, Mr hungry." NaYeon gestured him to eat. He started before her while NaYeon was just watching him eating.
"Aren't you hungry?" He asked looking at her.
"I want something else." She said smirking resting her chin in her both palms. He rolled his eyes and went back to his eating.
NaYeon got up from her chair and came to him making him confuse. NaYeon leaned down close to his face. JeongYeon bit his lip looking away. NaYeon cupped his cheek and kissed the corner of his lips licking the souse away. JeongYeon closed his eyes feeling the tickling of her tongue on his lips.
"There, it's clean now." She said standing straight.
"It's here too." JeongYeon smirked pointing at his lips. NaYeon slapped his arm and walked back to her seat but he pulled her by her wrist causing her to land in his lap.
"What are you doing? Eat first." She tried to get up but he pulled her back.
"I don't trust you. I don't know when you'll take advantage of me." He said smirking.
"That's what you're doing now." She tried to move but he gripped around her tightly. NaYeon turned to face him and he looked at her innocently like nothing happened.
"Finish your food then I'll tell you something." She said patting his head and got up. He nodded letting go of her and finished his food quickly.
He was waiting for her on the couch while NaYeon was busy in cleaning the dishes. She came back to him when she was done. She sat beside him and JeongYeon took this chance to lay in her lap. NaYeon was surprised with JeongYeon's sudden changed behaviour.
"What you wanted to tell me?" He asked playing with her hair. NaYeon nodded thinking where to start.
"Don't be mad, okay?" She asked. JeongYeon nodded.
"You said you loved Jisoo and..."
"I still love her I think." JeongYeon said cutting her words. NaYeon nodded combing his hair with her fingers.
"You said you didn't get any chance to confess her, right?" NaYeon asked. JeongYeon stopped playing with her hair and looked at her frowning.
"Let's not talk about it." He sat up on the couch.
"Okay, but I really want to clear something." NaYeon said hugging him sideway.
"What's there to clear now? She had left. Forget about it."
"Kyungwan, you trust me?" NaYeon looked up to him.
"I don't know." He removed her hands and got up from the couch. NaYeon sighed and got up too.
"Okay, we'll talk about it later. It's really important." She said caressing his cheek. He nodded. NaYeon tiptoed to him and kissed his cheek.
"Good night." He said and walked upstairs. NaYeon shrugged off and walked back to her room.
