••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Stan stepped into the hospital room with an emotionless look on his face. He lost everything. He lost most of his friends to a bus crash, he lost his girlfriend....and he was on the verge of loosing Kyle. His only two friends that remained were Craig in and Butters who were in mourning over the loss of Tweek and Kenny. Seeing Kyle laying helplessly in a hospital bed, silently and slowly dying, made Stan's heart ache miserably. "Hey Kyle." He said softly. Kyle looked over at Stan not able to speak or move. Stan could see how much pain Kyle was in and once again couldn't do anything to help. "Um...Kenny passed away yesterday. He said to tell you to stay strong." Stan said as he fought back tears. Kenny had died yesterday afternoon. Tweek was killed instantly in the crash, he was actually crossing the street to get to the bus stop. Craig blamed himself for Tweek's death because Tweek was distracted by Craig texting him. Even though Kyle wasn't able to say anything, the tear that rolled down the side of his face said everything for him. Stan's phone suddenly started ringing. "Hello?" Stan said into the phone. It was Craig's mother. She found Craig hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, with a picture of Tweek and him in his hand. Stan's ears perked up as he nearly dropped the phone. It seemed like every happy or funny moment with his friends flashed before his eyes. That time in fourth grade when Butters acted like a pimp, that time last year at his birthday party when Randy danced on top of his new car drunk....and what happened just a few days ago. Kyle confessed his feeling to him at the bus stop, and before Stan could get a chance to answer, the bus came sliding down the road. Stan had gotten the luckiest out of everyone. He fractured his left leg when the force of the bus slammed him to the ground, and the side of his face and neck was all scratched up. Wendy, poor Wendy, she went head first towards the bus. Cartman was stupid and ran away in the path of the bus, and this time actually got killed when he was ran over. Kyle was also crushed by the bus, but was somehow saved by a paramedic Stan will always be thankful for. He could talk about everyone's death because most of then happened right in front of him. He later got a call that Butters also killed himself in grief of Kenny's death. He was traumatized by it, but was even more traumatized by the fact that Kyle had stopped breathing. He stopped breathing. Doctors rushed into the room and shoved Stan out.
Everything happened so quickly Stan just couldn't believe it. "Stan honey..." Stan looked at the empty hospital bed and back over at his mother. "He's really gone..." Stan mumbled as a cold tear dropped onto his sweater. He fell to his knees on the floor as he cried, tears falling so fast he didn't even realize he was crying at first. Sharon hugged him tightly as Randy laid a hand on Stan's head. "Hey..He's not completely gone...His mom wanted you to have this...." Randy said. Stan looked at his father who was holding a green ushanke in his pale hands. Stan shakily grabbed it and immediately held it close to his heart. He could smell that fresh cherry scent from Kyle all over the hat, and every memory he ever had with Kyle played in his mind. He pictured what his life could've been like if Kyle had survived, if everyone had survived. Now Stan had no one. "Wake up."
Reality Saves The Day
Stan shot up from his bed horrified as he looked around his room. "Stan you were crying in your sleep. Don't be a baby." Wendy was laying next to Stan with an annoyed look on her face. Stan slowly shook his head as he jumped up, running over to where his hat and jacket was laying. "Stan what the hell are you doing?!?!"
Stan stood at Kyle's door knocking continuously, until finally Kyle answered the door. "Huh? Stan??" Kyle's red hair was hanging everywhere, and he was wearing some black shorts an an over sized T-shirt. Just seeing Kyle's beautiful face and hearing his beautiful was enough to make Stan cry right then and there. "Stan dude what's wrong???" Kyle pulled him inside, sitting his friend down on the couch. "I-I can't explain....I'm so sorry I....I love you." Stan blurted out. Kyle raised his eyebrows then frowned. "Stan...What about Wendy? What about my parents figuring out? What about your parents figuring out???-" "Kyle I don't care about that shit. I care about you, I love you more than anything!!!" Stan said quietly because everyone else was obviously still asleep. Kyle stared at Stan for a bit longer then looked around. He slowly leaned in and pecked Kyle on his soft pink lips. Kyle blushed as Stan pulled away, but only about an inch away from Kyle's face. He pulled him back into a deeper kiss, laying Kyle back against the couch arm. People don't usually have a make out session with their best friend after they have a dramatic nightmare, but Stan felt safer with Kyle in his arms. He laid there with Kyle for the rest of the night, a blanket draped over them as the watched TV. Stan wasn't really watching the stupid TV program that was on at the moment, but he was spending all the time he could with Kyle.
