"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERMIONE!!"
Hermione awoke to the sound of people wishing her. She opened her eyes and saw she was lying on her bed in her room. She was immediately engulfed in a tight hug and she fully opened her fully to see a mop of raven coloured hair on her shoulder. She smiled and wrapped her arms around Harry.
He pulled back and said, "Happy birthday 'Mione. Here is you gift. I hope you will like it."
Hermione smiled as she took the gift from him. She opened the wrapping paper and saw it was a beautiful necklace. It was a silver chain with a big silver 'H' as a pendant. "Thank you so much, Harry. I love it." She said and gave him a hug.
"Come on Harry, it's my chance now." Hermione looked over his shoulder to see Ginny standing near her desk.
Harry pulled away and kissed Hermione on her forehead and motioned for Ginny to come near.
"Happy birthday Hermione. I hope you like this gift." Ginny gave Hermione a huge hug and pulled away. Hermione thanked her and opened the gift. It was a set of bottles of Hermione's favorite Victoria's Secret perfume. Hermione grinned and gave Ginny another hug.
"Thank you so much guys. It means a lot." Hermione said as she pulled away.
"It's nothing Hermione, besides look at that pile." Harry pointed to a pile of gifts near her bed.
"Woah, who send these?" Hermione asked as she looked at both of them.
"It's from my family. They insisted on sending you gifts so I told them to send them to me as we wanted to give you surprise." Ginny said.
"Thank them for me. You all mean so much for me." Hermione smiled at them.
Before they could reply, a person opened her door and said, "What's all this commotion about?"
They all turned to see a very angry looking Draco Malfoy standing at her door. Hermione had discovered a few days back he didn't like to be disturbed when he's sleeping. And Harry and Ginny's shoutes must have woken him up.
"It is Hermione's birthday today, ferret. We were just wishing her." Ginny said as she and Harry stood up.
"Oh." was all that Draco said.
"Anyway, how did you enter the room?" Hermione asked as she turned to Harry and Ginny.
"Oh, we asked McGonagall a few days back. She said we can enter here only once today." Harry replied.
"Anyway, we will see you later 'Mione. Bye." Ginny said as she and Harry left the room.
Draco stood their awkwardly and said, "Well, we better get ready. You can use the bathroom first. Just knock on my door to let me know that I can use it."
"Okay." Hermione said and he left her room.

"Hi Hermione." Andy said as Hermione stepped out of the portrait. She looked behind her to see Draco but figured he was still in the common room as he said that he would come after a few moments when she asked him for breakfast.
"Hey Andy." She said while smiling.
"Happy birthday Hermione! I really didn't know what to get you as I got to know from Seamus today morning that it is your birthday today. I hope you like roses." He said and gave her a bouquet of roses that was hidden behind his back.
"Thank you Andy. I love roses. " She said as she inhaled their scent.
"Well McGonagall wanted to see me in her office, so I'll see you later Hermione. And happy birthday again."
"Thanks again Andy, I'll see you later." she said as he turned away and walked off.

"Happy birthday Hermione!" Hermione turned to see Blaise and Theo standing there with there hands behind their backs.
"Thanks guys." Hermione smiled at them.
"Here are your gifts. We didn't know what to get you, so we just bought these. We hope you'll like it." Blaise said as he and Theo gave her gifts.
Hermione opened the boxes to see a bunch of different Italian chocolates and a bracelet in Blaise's box and a bunch of Chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Sugar Quills and a bracelet in Theo's box.
"Thank you so much guys, I love them." She said and hugged them both.
"How did you get Italian chocolates Blaise?" Hermione asked as she pulled away.
"Oh well there was a shop in Hogsmeade that allows you to send owls in any part of the world and order things from there and get them in a day so I bought them. I thought you will like them."
"Well I didn't really know what to you but I remembered you saying,' I love these chocolates.' once when we were in Honeydukes in our fifth year. So I bought these and a bracelet for you. But then Blaise saw me buying a bracelet, and he bought one too." Theo said as he smiled at her.
"Thank you so much guys, I really appreciate it." Hermione said and smiled at them.
"Well we better go back to our table, otherwise we would miss the breakfast. See you later Hermione. Bye." Blaise said and they both went back to the Slytherin table.
"Looks like they have really changed." Ginny said as Hermione sat down.
Just as she was about to reply, there was a tap on her shoulder and she looked back to see Draco standing there.
"Happy birthday Granger!" He said and gave her a gift.
"Thank you so much Draco." She said as gasped as she eld a book in her hands.
"How did you find it?" she asked as she stared at him.
"Well remember a few days back, when we were in McGonagall's office, you said something." Draco said as he grinned at her.
Flashback
"Professor, as you know there's a bookshelf in our common room, and you could get any book you like. I wrote the name of a book, but I didn't get it." Hermione told her professor.
"Was it a muggle book, Miss Granger?" McGonagall asked her
"Yes, it is."
"Well I am afraid you cannot get muggle books from it Miss Granger. The shelf gives you a copy of the books you ask for. To produce a copy, the original book in a library, where it can be found, glows and gives ablue light and a copy is transferred to the shelf in you room. As it is a muggle book, we cannot risk muggles seeing it. So, you cannot get a copy of that book. I am sorry." McGonagall told her.
"It's okay Professor. I will probably get it during Christmas break."
Flashback ends
Hermione nodded as he said," You told me the name of the book and I went to McGonagall to ask her if I can go to muggle London to get this book. I went yesterday and bought it. And when Potter and Weaslette left you room, I quickly wrapped it."
"Thank you so much Draco. I can't believe you didi this for me." She said and hugged him.
Draco froze for a few moments as she hugged him. But he wrapped his arms around her after a few moments. He inhaled her scent, vanilla and oranges, as she pulled away.
Just as he was about to turn and go back to his table, the doors of Great Hall opened and there stood none other than Ronald Bilius Weasley. He grinned at her and said, "Happy birthday Hermione." But that grin quickly as he saw Draco standing there.
"What are you doing here, ferret?" He shouted as he marched upto where they were standing.
Harry, Ginny and Seamus quickly stood up and went to stand next to Hermione. A moment after Hermione had thanked him, he turned to Draco and punched him square on his jaw. Draco stumbled back a bit and Hermione shouted at Ron, "What's wrong with you Ron?"
"Nothing's wrong with me. How dare this death eater stand next to you?" He shouted and before anyone could do something, he punched him again.
This time Draco did not stumble back. He instead punched Ron square in his face. "How dare you punch me death eater? Didn't your parents taught you manners? Oh how could they? After all, they rotting in Azkaban." Ron smirked at him.
This was the last straw for Draco. He didn't care where he was or who he was fighting with, you say a word about his family and you will face his wrath. He grabbed him by his collar and started punching him. Only when Hermione grabbed his arms,he stopped while breathing heavily.
"What is wrong with you Ronald? He was just wishing me. You have no right to come here and punch him when he's done nothing wrong." Hermione shouted at him.
"Hermione we all know what this little ferret has done in the past. He's a danger." He said while rubbing his jaw were Draco had punched him.
"Hermione you take Draco back to your common room or Pomfrey. I'll handle the matter here." Harry said as he placed a hand on her shoulder.
Hermione thanked him and took Draco out of the hall. He asked her, "Granger I don't want to go to Pomfrey. Can we just go to our commom room?"
"Of course." She said and they went to their common room.

"I am so sorry Draco. I didn't know why Ron did that." Hermione apologised as she healed his wounds.
"It's not your fault Granger. Weasley was apparently high today." He said while looking at her.
Hermione chuchkled and said, " But still, he had no right to just come and punch you like thag when you had done nothing wrong."
"Granger-"
"And what he said and did was wrong. How can he say like this to someone?"
"Granger-"
"I can't even tell how sorry I am for his actions."
"I love you."
Hermione stared at him in shock. "Wh-what?"
"Well you weren't listening to me so I thought I could only get your attention by saying that. Not that I love you of course. But listen, it's not your fault so you have nothing to apologise for. "
Hermione smiled at him and said, " Well thanks for your gift. I really appreciate it."
Just as Draco smiled, the portrait opened and Blaise and Theo entered the room.
"How's your jaw Draco? He punched you pretty hard." Blaise asked as he came near them.
"It's fine now. Weasley didn't have enough power for hitting me hard." Draco said and they all chuckled at that.
"Anyway Hermione, here are your presents. You left them in the hall. Thought I should bring them." Theo said as he handed her the gifts.
"Thank you Theo." Hermione said and went to her room to keep the gifts

"McGonagall gave him permission to come and wish you but she wished she hadn't when she saw what happened." Harry told Hermione as they finished their dinner.
"Thank you Harry for handling the situation. I can't belive Ron did something like that." Hermione said as Seamus came to them.
"Hey 'Mione, we have thrown a party in the Gryffindor common room. Come and join us." He said and grinned at her.
"Thanks for that but I really should-" she started but Ginny cut her off, "We aren't taking no for an answer, now come on." she said and they dragged her to the room.

At 11:00 pm, she returned to her common room and was surprised to find Draco, Blaise and Theo waiting there for her.
"What are you guys doing here?" she asked as she dropped her bag on the table.
"We are throwing a party here for Miss Hermione Granger. You can join while we wait for her. She's probably in the library." Blaise winked at her.
"Nah, she's probably having a party in Gryffindor common room and is pretty tired." Hermione said while grinning.
"Sorry, if you're tired and you can go and rest, after all it's your birthday today." Theo said as he put the bottle of firewhiskey he was holding on the table. They all stopped smiling and looked at the floor.
Upon seeing their expressions, Hermione regretted what she said earlier and immediately said, "No, I am not that tired. We can have party here if you want." Just as she said that, they all looled up and Draco said, " I told you, she will agree if we act like this." Blaise and Theo grinned at hhim while Hermione lighlty smacked his arm, though she was grinning too.

"So how did you guys knew today was my birthday?" Hermione asked Blaise and Theo as she drank firewhiskey from her glass.
"Well we heard Potter Weaslette yesterday talking excitedly about asking McGonagall the permission to come here and wish you. So we immediately went to Hogsmeade. " Theo explained as he poured firewhiskey in Draco's glass.
"We didn't know what you like so we just bought these. Hope you liked them." Blaise said as he chewed on a chocolate frog. Merlin, chocolate frog and firewhiskey did go together. They tasted awesome when you eat them together. Though nobody believed it at first since it was Theo's idea but the other three liked it as they tried it.
"I really liked the gifts you three gave me. Specially you Draco, I cannot believe you went to muggoe London just to get this book for me." Hermione said as Blaise refilled her glass.
"Well yeah....I thought you'll like it." Draco said as he looked down from blushing as he turned a deep shade of red.
"Someone's blushing huh!" Theo said as he and Blaise nudged Draco.
"By the way, how did you know which book she wanted?" Blaise asked as he looked between the two of them.
Draco explained them and they all burst into laughter as they couldn't believe Draco remembered that he had to go to London, after a few days after Blaise told them that he once forgot his birthday when he had invited him the day before for party. He had to go and bring Draco himself for the party.
"By the way, you really looked good in pink hair Draco. I wish I had taken a picture." Blaise said dreamily as Draco scowled at him.
"Oh don't worry, I clicked his photo with a camera." Hermione said and went to her room and brought a picture.
They were to busy laughing to even ask the meaning of 'camera'. Draco folded his arms and said, "Your I love you wasn't much better Theo. Wish it had been the real Weaslette."
"Yeah, he was so scared thinking that I am the real Ginny that you both had to practically drag him out of Draco's room." Hermione said as while smirking at Theo.
"Yeah and then also he stuttered atleast 11 times before finally saying I love you to you. And then you weren't even able to give her the rose since you had touched one of its thorn and dropped it into Draco's coffee." Blaise said and they all started laughing.
"I am sure you must have done the same." Theo said and opened another bottle of firewhiskey.
After that they started playing TDS and had too much fun like last time.
After playing till 1:00 am, they all fell asleep on the floor again, just like last time.

"Best birthday ever at Hogwarts! Thank you so much guys!" Hermione told Draco, Blaise and Theo as they all went down for breakfast.
"You're welcome Hermione and yeah, we expect gifts from you on our birthdays as well." Blaise joked and Draco and Theo rolled their eyes.
"Of course. Oh there are Harry and Ginny. I'll see you three later." Hermione waved at them and went away as she spotted her two bestfriends waiting for her near the Great Hall.
"Can't believe how suddenly we became friends with her this year." Blaise said as he watched her walking away.
"Yeah, 7 years of hating and teasing her and now we all are spending time and having fun together like we have been friends for years." Theo said as he looked at the other two.
"She's wonderful when you get to know her. Come on, we have to eat breakfast. I am hungry." Draco said smiling at Hermione while Blaise and Theo laughed at him as they walked towards the Great Hall.
