Toni woke up in the morning dreading the idea of having to face Cheryl. This was a girl she hated, yet had one of the hottest make-out sessions of her life with. She thought of just pretending like it didn't happen. Go about like nothing has changed. She didn't understand how she could be so attracted to someone she didn't even like in the slightest bit.
Toni threw on a lacy pink shirt, fishnets with shorts over them, and tall black boots that gave her an extra inch in height. She looked at the scratches in the mirror and laughed. "What a psycho" she said out loud and smiled.
Once she arrived at school, she saw Ryder standing talking to no one other than Reggie Mantle. She walked over and couldn't help but notice a huge grin on Ryder's face as Reggie placed one arm on the wall behind her.
"Ew. What the hell is going on here" Toni said with a look of disgust on her face.
Reggie quickly pulled his arm back slightly embarrassed "nothing, nothing, I'm just talking to Ryder about some school stuff, but it can wait. See ya later Ry". Reggie walked away a bit flustered.
"Oh god no. Nooo. Please tell me you don't like him." Toni said to Ryder with a look of concern on her face.
"What? I don't know..." Ryder said with a bit of embarrassment in her voice. "He is really cute."
"But he's a total douche bag! Like literally anyone but him!" Toni said shaking her head and pleading.
"Don't worry. I'll be just fine! Maybe I just want to have a little fun" she said while shrugging her shoulders. "Uhh.. speaking of fun, who were YOU with last night?"
Toni's body froze. "What?".
"Who were you getting freaky with? You have the battle wounds to prove it". Ryder pointed at the scratches on Toni's neck.
"Oh that... ummm. It's none of your business". Toni said covering the marks on her neck with her hair.
"OH MY GOD!" Ryder yelled in realization.
Toni tensed up realizing she just figured out it was Cheryl.
"IT WAS VERONICA WASN'T IT!" She said with her mouth dropped.
Toni didn't know what to say. But honestly anyone besides Cheryl was a better than Ryder finding out the truth. "Ummm.. it doesn't matter who it was..". Toni couldn't bring herself to tell the truth.
"Wow. I can't believe you. I know it was her. I'm not dumb! I see you guys always together." Ryder gave Toni a look with her arms crossed.
"Whatever" Toni said avoiding eye contact.
"Soooo. How was it?" Ryder was one of Toni's best friend. She obviously was going to pry.
"Honestly" Toni said reminiscing, "it was the hottest time I've ever had with someone". Toni hates that Cheryl turned her on by just the thought. As she was still thinking about it as Sweetpea and Fangs came walking over.
"Sup ladies" Sweetpea said as he threw out his serpent symbol.
"What did we interrupt?" Fangs said feeling like something was happening.
Ryder couldn't resist and blurted out "Toni hooked up with Veronica Lodge!".
Toni shot Ryder a death look. Even though she didn't deny it, she didn't want the rumors going around and ruining their friendship.
"I seen it coming" Sweetpea said.
"Yeah. I figured this has been going on for a while now" Fangs added not even surprised.
"Guys stop. Just leave it alone" Toni said looking down.
"Woah" the boys said in unison. "She's clearly a freak! Look at those marks!" Pea added.
"Seriously stop. This conversation is dead!" Toni said walking away from the group. Maybe she should have just told them the truth, because if it gets out that her and Veronica hooked up when they didn't, it's going to make Toni look like an asshole.
Cheryl arrived at school, but this time alone. For some reason Moose had told her he was getting a ride from someone else today. She didn't question it and honestly didn't mind. It was always out of the way to pick him up anyways. She made her way to the locker room and figured she'd change before gym class started to avoid having to see Toni without a shirt. The thought of Toni without clothes made her hot in all the wrong places. She shouldn't lust over this stupid girl who was blackmailing her.
As she walked into the locker room, it was empty as she expected. She opened her locker and grabbed the T-shirt and shorts she was going to change into. When she began to lift her hair into a ponytail, she realized the bite mark on her neck had turned purple, so she decided to leave her hair down. She stripped down as the door flew open in the locker room. Toni came walking in and stopped in her tracks when she saw Cheryl in her bra and underwear. Clearly they both had the same idea trying to avoid each other.
"Stare much?" Cheryl said as Toni averted her eyes from her body but didn't answer.
Toni was freaking out inside. Seeing Cheryl like that made her want to slam her into the lockers and kiss every inch of her body. Toni avoided Cheryl's intense stare as she fumbled to open her locker.
"What? No sarcastic comment? No threats?" Cheryl continued walking closer to Toni.
"Please just get away from me" Toni spit out. Cheryl enjoyed how uncomfortable Toni was as she closed the proximity between them.
"Or what? What are you going to do? Bite me again?" Cheryl wanted Toni to make a move.
Toni looked at Cheryl with a bit of anger in her face. "Nothing happened yesterday. You got that?" Toni said as she grabbed her clothes and slammed her locker.
"Really?" Cheryl said as she moved the hair from Toni's neck exposing the scratches. "So this didn't happen?".
"Don't touch me Cheryl" Toni said trying to hold it together. She wanted Cheryl so bad but couldn't ever let her know.
"You don't want me touching you?" She whispered in her ear as she slowly stroked her arm.
Toni's heart was about to jump out of her chest. She couldn't resist her and grabbed Cheryl slamming her into the lockers just before shoving her tongue down her throat. Cheryl kissed back just as hard as she wrapped her arms around Toni's neck. Toni's hands roamed to Cheryl's ass giving it a tight squeeze. She realized it was happening again and quickly pulled away from Cheryl.
"No! This can't happen. I won't let this happen. You're too crazy!" Toni said as Cheryl tried to keep her from leaving. Those words struck a nerve inside Cheryl.
"I'M crazy?" Cheryl pushed Toni backwards causing her fall on the ground. At that moment the door opened and in came Betty and a few other girls.
"Oh my god!! Are you guys fighting?" She yelled as she ran over to help Toni up.
"It's nothing" Cheryl said as she gave Toni an evil stare.
"No it was something. If you didn't just walk in I was about to beat her to a pulp" Toni said with hate in her voice.
"Seriously guys. You can't fight at school. You're going to get suspended and ruin your permanent record". Betty was standing between the two girls pleading with one another.
"You're right Betty, queen of the rats isn't worth my time. You're lucky I'm only tutoring you for my resume." Cheryl spat out as she clothed herself.
Toni held in her anger. She really did hate the girl. There was nothing pleasant about her, besides her looks of course. She changed and walked into the gym eager to get this over with.
The class was dedicated to flag football.
"Two teams! Red and blue!". Mrs Palmello split the students into teams. Cheryl and Betty were on the same team, red, while Toni and Moose were on team blue. The teams discussed plans and started playing. Toni enjoyed football, she was really good at it. She lined up purposely in front of Cheryl to defend her. When the red team hiked the ball Cheryl ran past Toni and was thrown the ball. As soon as Cheryl went to catch the ball, Toni flew into her tackling her to the ground. She knew she could get away with it since Mrs Palmello stepped out the gym.
"What the HELL is your problem!" Cheryl yelled as she pushed Toni off of her. She was livid.
"It's football! Get over it" Toni said as she stood up and walked away laughing.
The students stared and Moose walked over to Cheryl to check on her like the good boyfriend he was. Betty walked over to Toni.
"Toni! You can't do that! You guys need to get over this hatred thing and be civil". Betty was concerned. Last thing she wanted was the girls fighting at school. She liked Toni and of course Cheryl was family.
"I'm sorry, I just needed her to learn a little lesson" Toni said apologizing to Betty. "I'll stop". Betty smiled half hearted and walked back to her team as their teacher reentered the gym. For the rest of the class, the two girls ignored each other. For now they've come to an understanding.

It's second period now, algebra, and Toni walked to class still annoyed with Cheryl. After what happened in the locker room, she didn't even know if she wanted Cheryl to tutor her anymore. She was torn. Either she can get the help she needs, but risk falling into the craziness that's Cheryl Blossom, or she can try to find another tutor and possibly risk failing this class. This was a tough decision for her.
She walked into her classroom and sat in her normal seat. Veronica sat next to her and placed a hand on her arm. "Are you okay?" She asked worried.
"I'm just peachy" Toni said with sarcasm.
"Betty told me you and Cheryl almost got into a fight today" she said nervously.
"Yeah. It's no big deal. We didn't." Toni said trying to fake a smile at Veronica.
As class started Mr. Smith went over the homework as usual. All of Toni's answers were right and she couldn't help but feel conflicted over Cheryl. She decided that maybe she can work with Cheryl still. She just needs to distance herself from her a bit. Toni had never met someone she wanted to punch in the face then kiss the wound to make her feel better. It was the strangest feeling she had ever felt.
Once class was over Veronica walked with Toni to the lunchroom. "Sooo. Do you maybe want to sit with me today?" She asked bumping her shoulder into her a little.
"I don't know if that's a good idea. I may need some room from Cheryl." Toni didn't want to be that close to her so soon.
"Pleaseee. You don't even have to talk to her. Just pretend she isn't there!" Veronica had a pout face on and Toni couldn't say no to that.
"Ugh.. fine. Only because you're you" she said with a smile. Why couldn't Cheryl be like Veronica. So sweet, kind, and fun. Instead she was mean to the core, but so damn sexy. What a combo she thought.
When they walked over to the table Cheryl and Moose weren't there yet but a different face was sitting close to Reggie.
"Ryder? Are you joining us today?" Toni asked with a stern staring at Reggie. She didn't like how Reggie acted. He tried hitting on her and now is trying to sleep with her best friend.
"Yeah, Reggie asked me to" she said smiling at the boy.
"Awesome" Toni said staring at Reggie annoyed. Ryder was too good for him. Toni didn't have lunch and Ryder instantly slid over her fruit and cookies to Toni.
"Here. I don't want this." She knew Toni didn't like hand outs but would never let food go to waste.
"Sweet! Thanks Ry" Toni said as she began to eat the fruit.
Just then Cheryl sat down slamming her tray in an annoyed manor. Moose stared at her concerned. "Who is this?" Cheryl said staring at Ryder.
"That's my best friend Ryder" Toni said defending her friend. "So watch your damn mouth". Ryder just smiled and looked awkwardly at Cheryl.
"Whatever" Cheryl said as she flipped her hair accidentally revealing the hickey left on her neck.
"Oh my god! That hickey is huge!" Reggie called out causing Cheryl to turn bright red. "Moose, you dog!" The boy continued as he high fived him.
Moose knew it wasn't from him, and caught a moment between Cheryl and Toni where they made eye contact. "Can't be!" He thought to himself.
Toni sat there with a little smirk on her face. Knowing the mark was from her brought her this weird satisfaction.
"Oh my god Cheryl. That's gross" Veronica said poking fun at her friend.
"You should see Toni's neck" Ryder said trying to call Veronica out. "She was with someone kinky yesterday". Cheryl's eyes shot to Toni then darted in another direction.
"Ryder!" Toni yelled with a look of shock.
"Wait what?" Veronica asked before noticing the red scratches under her hair. "Oh wow..". She looked a bit hurt. Veronica really liked Toni so seeing this made her a bit sad.
"That was actually from me" Cheryl said as Toni nearly spit her food out. The whole table looked at her confused.
"We sort of got into a little scuffle this morning in the locker room, and when I pushed her I must have scratched her by accident" Cheryl said very serious.
"Oh. That makes sense". The light in Veronica's face lit back up realizing it wasn't from a 'someone kinky' as Ryder said.
Ryder stared at Toni confused. She knew it was there this morning. So why would Cheryl lie about that.. unless. Ryder's eyes got big when she realized what actually happened. Toni made eye contact and have her giving a "I'll explain everything later look". She didn't question it and continued lunch with the new group of friends. Toni had some explaining to do.

At the end of the day Toni walked outside and again saw Ryder standing with Reggie. Reggie actually looked like he was being sweet and less douchey towards her best friend. "Hey, can I steal Ryder for a minute?" She asked the two.
"Sure! I'll see you tomorrow" he said as he kissed her cheek. She had a smile that Toni hadn't seen for a long time.
"You really like him don't you?" Toni asked.
She smiled softly "I really do. He's so great to me. I know you two didn't get off on the right foot but I swear he's different. It's all a cool guy act".
"I believe it.. soo can I talk to you about this" Toni pointed to the scratches on her neck.
"You mean, about how you're hooking up with Cheryl Blossom... the devil herself, who may I add HAS A BOYFRIEND?" Ryder said with a stern look.
"It's not like that... well kinda. We just made out." She said a little ashamed.
"Oh my god! I don't get it! So what, She's bi?
"I don't know" Toni lied.
"Fine Fine, but keep it one and done. Don't fall for a girl like her!" Ryder said concerned.
"Well twice... again in the locker room. Then we almost fought. She's so confusing. I hate her" Toni said.
"You hate her yet you make out with her. Damn Smalls, control yourself" she said laughing. "Sounds like there may be some more feelings besides hate. Just be careful, you have a girl who really likes you. So try not to hurt her. Veronica is a nice girl" Ryder said with a smile.
"I know!! It's awful. And I'm supposed to go over to Cheryl's again to study. What do I do?" She asked.
Ryder pondered for a minute. "Go. Study, and see if you can control yourself. If you can't get another tutor because this won't end well. You'll end up killing each other."
"Thanks Ry. I can always count on you." Toni said pulling the girl into a hug. Ryder hopped on her bike and headed back to the southside.
Toni took a deep breath and began her journey to Cheryl's. This was the ultimate test. If she can study with Cheryl like nothing happened maybe it'll work out. Toni rode with the wind in her hair until she approached the large mansion.. "let's see how this goes" she whispered as she knocked at the door...
