Melody's PoV ~
Current emotion ~ Annoyed
So I've only just woken up and I'm already tired but the sun is up so I need to get, I look at my phone and see it's only 05:30 yeah no it's too early but something doesn't feel right. Even though I don't want to I still get up, as I'm leaving the room my phone rings I groan until I see it's my brother Charlie oh how I miss him.
Charlie Bear -
Melody I'm so sorry for the early call, but how are you I miss you.
Melody -
I'm alright only just got out of bed.
Is something wrong, why do you sound stressed?
Charlie Bear -
I know you don't get on with her, but can you please help me?
Now I was confused as I knew Charlie could only be talking about his child Isabella since him and Renee are no longer married but as he said she doesn't like me, I don't even know the reason why. Charlie goes on to explain that she changed after she started dating this boy called Edward and they had an argument which lead to Isabella being admitted to hospital. Then when things started to get a bit better Edward broke up with Isabella and left her in the forest.
I had to shout at my brother, because is he only telling me this now I would've flown to Forks and helped looked for her. Anyway Isabella has been in a depression/vegetative like state since the break up and Edward and his family have skipped towns. I sigh and tell him I'm on my way. Luckily I have the money to do as I please, and go where the next job offer is and it's the least I can do as I was adopted into Charlie's family and they helped me follow my dreams and become a talented singer and musician.
After saying my goodbye to my brother I call up Forks school and see if there's and openings for a teacher in music, art, literature or languages from travelling the world I had to learn I refused to be confused or have someone talk about me and I don't know. The school asked if I was Melody Swan, when I said yes they went on to say that Charlie called and said his talented sister needed a job and they have an opening in their music department as one of the teachers is going on maternity leave.
I accepted and told them I finishes of everything in Canada and should be there in a week latest, they asked for my email and other information and they send me what's currently on the curriculum. I thanked them again then started packing, once I finished I returned the rental car as my baby is still in Forks that reminds me, let me call Charlie.

Charlie says bye and I make my way to the airport, the rental place was surprised see me so soon but when they realized who I was me they smiled and said "new job" I laugh and said who knows I need a break. I payed and they did the checks on the car to make sure nothing broke, I gave them a tip which they always tried to decline. I tie any other loose stings I could possibly have before heading to the airport and go to the desk and ask for any flights to Seattle or straight to Port Angeles.
(Now I don't remember how they got to forks and nothing is clear in the movies so I making it up more 😂😂😂)
As I expected there was no straight flights only connecting flights but it didn't bother me so I payed and they told me that the next plane was in 4 hours so I just checked in once everything was done, as I was walking I saw a grand piano and I had to play it. So I sat down just played a bunch of Disney songs after that I played some jazz, I didn't even realize that an hour had gone by. As I got up I heard complaints from all around me o looked and saw that I had a crowd.
I smiled then played one song I was currently writing before actually getting up "alright guys and gals I'm hungry" I said as I wave and walk off to the food area, while I was waiting for my number to be called I put my hair into space buns and when I then realized they were too big I did 2 braids as I was in the middle of 1 braid my number was called so I went over to the counter while still braiding my hair the women there, were interested in how I got so much hair into 1 braids my response was patience.
My order was just a double dirty cheeseburger (cheeseburger with fried onions, pickles,lettuce, ketchup and mustard) with bacon and cheesy loaded fries and a sprite. As I was eating I remembered the other side of my hair so I was multitasking, doing my hair and eating at the same time this did lead to a lot of stares from those around me but I didn't bother with them. I always wanted to cut my hair but then I thought of the family that I never met and I wanted to be connected to them somehow so I chose my hair.
2 hours later ~
So the plane finally started boarding but I was approached by a woman asking about what seat I was in, I told her I was in 35d she sighed and asked if I could swap with her I wanted to know why and she told me that they had separated her and her daughter she was in 24c and the child was in 35e so literally right next to me so I agreed. When it was time to board with made the air hostess aware went to take me to the seat when I realized it was in economy I asked the women if she's sure and she nodded I smiled and went to the seat.
When I sat down a woman stared at me and smiled I smiled back and sat down, having been a constant flyer I can fall asleep almost instantly on planes and I know the safety thing like that back of my hand it's the same for all flights it only changes depending on the size of the plane. I waited until the plane was moving then I went to sleep as no one is allowed to move during this time except for the air host and hostess doing the final checks.
Time Skip ~
6 hours later ~
I felt like I was rocking so I opened my eyes and saw the people sitting next to me laughing "oh lord I'm so sorry I'm blocking you in" they continued laughing and I looked at saw the hostess looking at me "I'm awake but why didn't you pour water on me" now the hostess was laughing at me I grabbed my carry on and my way to get off the plane luckily I didn't miss my next plane. As I was walking my phone went off so I unlocked it and saw it was just Forks High with a picture of the school and a map and a town map. Then I saw a message from Charlie telling me how he will see me soon as the school sent some documents with Isabella's work as she's still depressed.
As I read that I rolled my eyes, okay she's my niece but how are you gonna shut down over a guy you weren't going out with for long, get a grip, especially if what Charlie says is true then there's another guy who's willing to wait. I need to stop as I'm being a hypocrite actually I'm not I haven't dated in years due to the men in my dreams, I can't see their faces but their touch sends shivers down my body and we are always in a room with what looks to be three thrones. I hope I can meet them soon but who knows, and the plane lands in Port Angeles I realize that this is the first time I've not slept on a flight but I didn't dwell on that.
Once off the plane, I go to get the bags I travelled with I never take much with me, just my cello and violin anything I need I buy, send them back home or give to charity as I'm constantly on the move so the most you will find on my is my purse. In it will be a few of my cards, my passport and a license and in my carrying are the necessities like pads and tampons, spare underwear, makeup and things for my hair and I can't forget my laptop and chargers. Travelling light is the best thing for me I never feel like I've forgotten anything, once I see I have everything I leave to get a cab but none wanted to take me as the journey was too far.
Yeah, I went back into the airport and asked them to get me a cab to Forks and that I would pay extra. The lady at the desk told me it might take a while for one to arrive, I had no problem with that so I asked them if they wanted a coffee or anything from the cafe.
After insisting that I didn't mind getting them one another lady who's name badge had Aurora on it said she was getting her cousins to come to get me as a thank you for the coffee, I smiled and told her only if she was sure. She nodded and asked me questions about my instruments and if I could play any others I shrugged "maybe I do, maybe I don't" she laughed and then got a notification on her phone.
She said her cousin was nearly here, so we waited outside for him. Colour me surprised when I saw Sam Uley "baby Sam is that you" he runs and hugs me causing me to giggle "Melody is that really you", "well I should be asking you that you've bulked up on me" he chuckled but I can see the sadness in his eye, I look at Aurora and said thank you then gave her my number, she smile and waved at me. Sam and I got in the car and before we could even leave the airport "don't act like you're okay Sam" he sighed "I'm not the one who needs you" I raise my eyebrow but let him continue "Harry died if anything it's Sue, Leah and Seth that need you"
I gasp as I didn't know this, I asked to drop my things off then we could go to the res as Bella can wait as far as I'm concerned she will be fine. Sam nods and we fill the car with conversations he makes me aware that it was him and his friends that found Bella which I thanked him for, I don't know how long we were driving for before we pulled up to Charlie's house I told Sam to wait as I saw Charlie's police cruiser, I knock on the door and he opens up.
Charlie smiles at me then looks to see Sam's truck, "I know your plan give me what you have then go see them, the kids need you" I smile and hug him as I look back Sam is already carrying my cello and violin cases. Before leaving for the La Push reservation.
