The show had ended for the night and April stood outside.
"Dean." She called as he walked towards his car.
"April, I didn't see you in the arena tonight."
She stepped past him and looked around, "I wanted to surprise Seth, so I've been waiting around."
Dean thought about how Seth was going to hang out with Becky Lynch, so he left early.
"No sign of him anywhere." She said as she scanned the area, once more.
"Seth, oh he, he didn't have a match tonight. He stayed at the hotel." Dean lied.
"Oh, that makes sense. Then Dean, you're gonna take his place."

April and Dean sat in a cafe and waited for their food.
"I cant wait to try the cakes, I heard they're the best in the city!" She exclaimed excitedly.
Dean laughed, "They better be that amazing."
"Or what's big bad Dean Ambrose gonna do about it?" She asked resting her elbows on the table.
"I'm... I'm gonna leave a bad yelp review." He stated with confidence.
April laughed, "That's so cold of you."
"I know, I'm quite evil, you could say."
The two continued to talk and get to know each other.

They walked back to the hotel when April spotted a cat.
She rushed over to it and pet it.
Dean looked at her and smiled, "The cat's eyes. They look just like yours."
She raised an eyebrow as her hand stroked the purring cat, "Is that a compliment?"
He laughed, "I mean the eye color. The way they sparkle."
She smiled at him and picked up the cat, "Pet her."
Dean put his hand out and the cat brushed it's head against his hand.
"I think she likes you." April said as the cat purring became louder.
"Then the cat decided." She declared as she placed the cat down.
"You're my partner for the mixed tag team at Summerslam."
"What? No, I can't."
"You don't get a choice. Fate made the cat purring remind me. You're now my partner. No is not an option."

Dean had completely changed the subject as they continued walking to the hotel.
They stopped outside a hospital where April looked down at her phone.
"Oh, Dean. Tamina is gonna meet me here and we're gonna go out. Are you okay on going to the hotel yourself?"
"Yeah, of course. See you later." He waved as he walked away.
She waited until Dean was fully out of sight and walked into the hospital.
