Disclaimer: I don't own PJ or HoO
Still Bianca's POV
I flung my hands in the air, running to the room and grabbed the boy's cloaks, I tossed it to them and they managed to get them on the moment the door broke down. Soon we all stood wearing our cloaks.
"Where is Nico, what did you do to him," Annabeth said, she didn't seem very worried about Nico though.
"I am right here, and I am fine," he said walking infront of us. Annabeth's eyes moved to us, behind her were a bunch of campers, one whom was Lander.
'What happened," she said, mock concern, " they shouldn't hurt a camper, oh Nico we are so glad your-,'
"Oh shut up Annabeth, not like you care about me, you just are so desperate to find out who they are," Nico snapped raising his sword to Annabeth..aww my little brother is threatening someone.
Annabeth had a shocked look on his face, she looked angry and stomped her foot, " Still, you recognized them, Nico, don't lie to me who are they,"
"And why would I tell you," he said crossing his arms. Annabeth snarled.
'Who. Are. They." She demanded, furious, he face red with anger.
"No," he said tersely.
"No? TELL ME WHO THEY ARE," she screamed, he winced.
'Fine," he mumbled, suddenly a pound sunk in my stomach, no, no Nico. He leaned in to whisper something in her ears. He said the words hurriedly, then...then. He was smirking. Annabeth's eyes widened in one hundred percent rage. She turned to the smirking Nico and slapped him hard across the cheek. He winced, stumbling back a large red mark on his cheek. I had to admire what he must've of done. But I was mad. I balled my fist and lunged at Annabeth.
"No one hurts my little b-," of course I stopped myself, but my fist didn't stop, she caught my fist. I growled taking my other fist aiming for her stomach. I was definitely not the best at hand to hand combat.
After round two of blocking each other, Luke finally came forward holing me at my stomach, hoisting m up and out of the way. It took a count of ten for them to calm us down. Lander had a hand wrapped around Annabeth's waist.
"Get away from me jerk," she said shoving Lander away from her. She cringed though cradling her bruised shoulder. I looked at Percy, who was observing his half-brother with disgust.
Percy's POV
"Omega," Annabeth said finally stepping through the threshold once more, I pushed through my soldiers so I was face to face with her, her stormy eyes triggered nothing but anger.
"Yes, spawn of Athena," I said sourly, my eyes were dead, stone cold, no filter of emotion.
" You better keep your soldiers in line, because I am telling the gods about what you did to Nico , and how Gamma beat me up," she said.
"Go ahead, tell," I said smoothly, "but my father is the god of the gods, they can't banish me or my soldiers,"
Annabeth bit her lip considering my point, she was at a loss of words.
"Of course," I said finally, "we could leave, and leave you to die," I said raising eyebrow, Annabeth remained silent.
"We can survive just fine without you losers," Will Solace grunted, holding up a bloody fist.
"Yeah," Annabeth said, steping so close to me, that I flet her warm breath through my cloak, " lets duel, I win you...," she thought for a moment, she knew she couldn't win the without us, yet she wanted something else, " reveal yourselves," she said, she shot the girls a look.
"We told you Annabeth they can't because-." Gamma began. Annabeth raised her hand in silence, her vision locked on my eyes or technically my hood.
" I am a daughter of Athena, I know exactly why you are lying, these boys," she said walking over to were Charlie and Like stood, still, solitude. She ran a hand across Charles broad chest, he scowled, Silena was seething. " Are important, they are recognizable," she summed up, her finger pressed into Luke's chest.
" Sure, lets duel tonight at sunset, in the arena," I said, I probally sounded cocky, confidence filling my voice, but I was going to cream Annabeth. She smirked, twirled on her heals and left, not giving Nico a second glance.
TIME LAPSE
The arena was full of noise, shouts and jeers. Luke was beside me, I wore a cloak now, not hooded though. Luke handed me a black roman helmet and some sunglasses, I must've looked strange, but this is what I needed to use as a cover.
I stepped into the ring, I spotted my soldiers in their black cloaks in the front row, and they were smiling. The hunters weren't there though, they were probably hunting, and being it was evening. Across from me Piper laid a hand on Annabeth shoulder and whispered encouraging things. Annabeth wore white shorts, tarred and frayed, she wore her camp shirt, and had her drakon sword. She held it defiantly, her vision zeroed on me.
"What are you, Ares dressing up as Apollo," she laughed, the crowd laughed along with her.
"Haha, very funny," I said, then my voice dropped to an almost whisper, trying not to sound to suspicious, " Where'd you get the sword? Tartarus," I said as if it were a joke, not that I actually knew where she got it. She was shocked for a moment but then regained.
"Yes, I did, I went through Tartarus, and I survived," she said, taking a strike at me. I easily step sided, I was almost sure that a whistle or something was supposed to be blown before starting but no one seemed to care.
She struck again and I blocked, strike, block. All I was playing was defense; the campers seemed to assume that meant Annabeth was winning. Not so fast.
"Can't fight, can you, Omega, aren't so Mega now," she taunted, causing another roar from the crowd. She was in such a pattern of strike and no defense I easily stabbed forward, my sword coming inches from her neck before she was able to deflect the hit. A 'whoa' went through the crowd. I began striking and she was playing defense now, if I was going at my full strength shed be dead right now.
Suddenly I felt my helmet ever so slowly move, as if taking its self-off my head. It was made of metal.
"Hazel, cut it out," I said, and the helmet dropped back to its original position. I twirled around; fully aware I had my back to the enemy, Annabeth.
Hazel was looking at me wide eyed, "you want to be part of this to?," I asked her, she looked at me, and took a step away, onto the first step in the bleacher.
Suddenly an eagle swooped down and landed beside Hazel, the eagle transformed into Frank, he looked mad.
'Stay away from her," he yelled.
"Or what," I shot back, he charged at me, I ducked just in time for Annabeth to strike Frank instead of me. Frank yelled in rage removing a dagger from his shoulder, he was glowing red. I rolled on the floor so I was behind him; I took my sword and held it against his neck in headlock. Annabeth charged at me, she raised her bare fist. I caught her wrist, turned her around so her back was to me, her arm in a painful position Her sleeve fell for a moment and I saw a scar, the scar from Ethan Nakamora's dagger, the knife she took to save my life. I released her for a second, in my moment of distraught, but she began to run, but I caughter her by the neck. Now I had two people in head lock.
"Do I win?," I asked the crowd, the crowd looked fearful. I looked at my soldiers and said something I really shouldn't have said. " I am better than Percy Jackson, aren't I," I blurted.
Luke glared at me, saying I shouldn't have done that. Annabeth screamed in rage, trying to get out of my restrain.
" Percy Jackson is a trillion times better than you'll ever be you...," of course then she said some, enlightening words, I tightened my grip around her neck, she began gagging and chocking. The crowd looked in horror, they didn't want their leader to die, yet none of the dared to challenge me.
" Omega, stop it, please," Silena cried, I scoffed and released them, Frank staggered back and Annabeth collapsed in a coughing fit. I kneeled beside her, she tensed.
"I win," I whispered quietly.
